1. Language over music. Being a linguist can give you a very successful career. One of the people who used to be at my school mastered more instruments more than sixteen instruments, but this only made him a successful musician.
2. Why not make it open source? You don't gain anything by making it closed source. An extra GitHub repo looks good as well.
3. @Brokenwings - What I would highly recommend would be for you to open source the application. This way, you'll invite contributions (via pull requests) as well as allow newer developers to learn from your app. After all, this isn't for profit (...right?)! Feel free to get started at http://github.com/.
4. One photo for the title page will do. Photo overload is bad. A good presentation is mainly always good speaking skills as opposed to a packed presentation.
5. Here's a collection of short stories, some humorous, some dark. Without further ado, here is the link: http://machineofdeath.net/ebook The premise is that a machine can predict your death 100% from a small blood sample from your finger. My favourite short story is on Page 137 of the eBook. I won't spoil it for you, have it's light-hearted and a quick read.
6. I don't think they'll achieve their objective. Meanwhile, death by letters seems amusing.
7. The alignment of the chart on the first slight is a bit off. Perhaps you can remove it and replace it with a photo of the Mane 6 together? That would serve as an appropriate introduction. On the initial slides, you need to explain what you will be talking about and anchor in the overlaying purpose of your presentation. I recommend that after you do this, you explain the stigma behind MLP, and then go on to why bronies like it. Keep in mind that you should not convince your audience to like MLP, but instead show the audience why normal people like MLP.
8. * Please acknowledge that this post refers to 'deep web' in the context and definition of Tor. >the guy who ran most of the sites on [Tor] was arrested Nope. There are many, many, many websites. The arrest of the Silk Road's founder was due to his own lack of security awareness for his web server and his carelessness with his surface web presence. >funded by the FBI because it's their brain-child and they want to encourage the freedom of speech for people oppressed internationally and aid their citizens and agents worldwide. In your context, it makes it seem negative. >the exit nodes lead to the FBI http://hackertarget.com/tor-exit-node-visualization/ - Is it not obvious why federal agencies would want to tap into Tor (although with little success)? Tor is very, very good for freedom of speech if you know how to use it. It just has an infamous reputation for illegal content.
9. Deep web by definition describes pages which are inaccessible through search engines. However, let's discuss deep web in the context of Tor. There's nothing illegal about Tor as a whole. In fact, Tor is used as a way for people whose privacy/rights are being oppressed to share possibly sensitive information. However, due to the extreme sense of security behind Tor, people with malicious intents use it, which is how Tor has gained such as infamous reputation. You can access it using the Tor Browser. There are plenty of websites which index .onion links. However, please steer clear of illegal content, especially CP. If you have the mind to go on these websites even for curiosity, then you would be making a big mistake.
10. Why not? Ooooh, that's a nice fan club. I gather from that thread that there can never be enough Sunshower Raindrops.
11. Just slightly adjusted the discussion highlight. By stickied, I mean pinned: http://prntscr.com/4icgx2 Luckily for you, their fan clubs are already there!
12. If you like FlashLight, you're certainly going to love dm29's work. This is a personal favourite of mine. Also, check out the sub-reddit for FlashLight.

14. It's up! You can view it here: http://mlpforums.com/topic/109108-fan-club-fan-club/
15. Fan Club Fan Club. Yup, seriously. There are many, many fan clubs here. But why don't we get some discussion about the fan clubs themselves? After all, we love fan clubs! Let's get meta and discuss all things fan club here. Which fan clubs do you like? Which ones are absurd? Which ones have the best content? Most importantly, which fan club is best fan club? Here's the current discussion highlight: if we were asked to choose a fan club to be pinned among the mane six fan clubs, which one would you choose and why? Personally, I'd choose the Luna Fan Club. Although a mainstream fan club by the looks of the statistics, there is no shortage of fan content for her. Quote the discussion highlight by copying and pasting the following:
If we were asked to choose a fan club to be pinned among the mane six fan clubs, which one would you choose and why?
