I don't consider myself to be a huge gamer because gaming is not my biggest passion. My biggest passion is animation. However Nintendo is my favorite game company of all time and if it weren't for them I might not be into video games anymore. One of the things I love about their games is that they are so iconic and I love the colorful catrooney style on most of their games. Nintendo always gets flak for mostly putting out these types of games but I like that they do that because the cartooney style of their games are very close to my passion for animation. While Nintendo is my favorite company, I also like Sega, Kingdom Hearts, and Rollercoaster Tycoon as well. They might be in a rocky position right now with Wii U and 3DS while doing well is not as successful as the DS however I think they will be around for a while. So I decided to list my Top 10 Favorite Nintendo Franchises of All Time. Just so you know this list will not include Super Smash Bros., just the basic franchises.

    Here We Go!

    #10: Fossil Fighters

Fossil Fighters is a pretty obscure series and most people aren't even aware this is a Nintendo series. Fossil Fighters is similar to Pokémon except most of the monsters are dinosaurs rather than the assortment of creatures found in Pokémon. The battle system is more complex than Pokémon and you also clean fossils. I haven't played much of it so far but it's one to try out. The most recent game Frontier just came out for the 3DS.

    #9: The Legendary Starfy

Here is another lesser known series The Legendary Starfy. Basically it's a platformer series. You play as a Starfish and most levels take place underwater. Starfy shares a lot in common with Kirby because both have similar designs, and Starfy can also gain different powers. You also do missions during levels so they aren't that linear. I haven't played much of this series either but it's another one to try out.

    #8: Legend of Zelda

Yes of course Zelda is on here but why at number 8? Well I'm not a huge Zelda fan but I do like this series. You play as Link and have adventures throughout a medieval setting and you solve various puzzles. And each game has it's own mechanic that makes it unique from other games. But this series was always a hit or miss series for me because there are some Zelda games I like and some I couldn't get into. That's because sometimes I don't like the setting, story, or the mechanic in a game. Let me just say I like Kingdom Hearts a lot more. However I can't deny this is one of the biggest game series of all time.

    #7: Nintendogs

Nintendogs is a virtual pet series where you take care of dogs or cats and the graphics and interaction are great. You can feed, pet, play, walk, or train your dog. This is just an easier more relaxing game to play and I like to play games to relieve stress so yeah Nintendogs.

    #6: Kid Icarus

Kid Icarus is a Greek themed series that wasn't well known until 2012 when Kid Icarus: Uprising came out. The first 2 games were 2D platformers where you shoot enemies with a bow and arrow. But Uprising is where the series shines. Uprising is an incredible rail shooter with many interesting weapons, colors, enemies, story, funny dialogue, content, collectibles, and so much MOAR. It is my favorite shooting game of all time and would take this over Call of Duty any day(No offense).

    #5: Kirby

This is an easy platformer series where you play as a cute character Kirby with fun gameplay, and you can copy abilities. I really like this series for the simplicity, colors, and neat ability to copy abilities. And because of the simplicity, it's a relaxing easy breezy game series. It also came out with one of my favorite animes as well.

    #4: Earthbound/Mother

This is an RPG series similar to Dragon Quest but it takes place in a modern setting and has relatable characters, quirky enemies, and everyday items. I really enjoy this series and find it really fun to play. Earthbound is also less repetitive than most RPGs. Earthbound on the SNES was fantastic but my favorite was Mother 3 with an incredible story, soundtrack, characters, setting, and battle system.

    #3: Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing games are very fun because you can explore through town and do whatever like fish, dig fossils, talk to townsfolk, and pick items. I really like this series for how relaxing, simple, and easy it is. I don't have much more to say about this besides the high level of customization.

    #2: Mario:

Mario is Nintendo's mascot and one of the most iconic gaming franchises of all time. I enjoy Mario because I grew up with it and I'm very familiar with the world and iconic characters. It's a really solid platformer series and Mario also spawned countless spin offs which are fun as well such as Mario Kart, Mario Party, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Wario, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, etc. So I have a lot of sentiment for Mario. I especially like the RPG series like Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi.

    #1: Pokémon:

Oh yeah you know this was coming. Pokémon is my all time favorite Nintendo franchise of all time. I really enjoy Pokémon because I feel like I'm going on my own adventure and you can catch, train, and battle monsters. And most of the Pokémon are very colorful and iconic with some cool moves. I really enjoy the simplicity because while it seems repetitive at times it feels natural to play for me and I can easily pick it up and play it and are great games to play on the go. It also spawned my favorite TCG and anime even though it's debatably not very good. Just like Mario it also has a bunch of different spin off games such as Pokémon Snap a neat game where you take pictures of Pokémon, Pokémon Puzzle League and Battle Trozei which are so addicting and my favorite puzzle games ever, Pokémon Conquest my favorite Tactical RPG while I don't like that genre and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon with awesome stories, lack of humans, makes the setting similar to Friendship is Magic. While Pokémon might seem like a fad and passive interest to most I still love it to this day, I don't see it dying anytime soon, and I can't wait where the series goes next. Perhaps Pokémon Z later this year.

And there you go. My Top 10 nintendo Franchises of all time. Thanks if you have read this all the way through. And if you want to share your favorite franchises you can post a comment.

I want to talk more about the MLP Youtube Poop I'm working on. It's taking a little longer than I thought it would but I'm also finishing up High School so I also have that going on. This video will contain lots of footage from several season premieres and finales and will be at least 5-6 minutes long. I'm currently working on the hardest but most interesting part of it which is the cinematic part of it but the rest will be traditional. At this rate I'm hoping to release this in June.

I also plan to make a Little Mermaid YTP after I make this. Some YTP's I'm considering to make include a Star vs. the Forces of Evil poop, Hercules Poop, Powerpuff Girls Poop, Big Hero 6 Poop, Equestria Girls Poop, Gravity Falls Poop, and Barney Poop. I probably won't make a Spongebob Poop though.

Well I just reached a milestone because today I turned 18 years old. So I'm pretty much a young adult now, But I still love cartoons and I still like Nintendo games and I still like cute characters. So I basically reached the point where people will say I'm too old for that stuff and I passed the target group of MLP. But just because I turn into a young adult doesn't mean I can still be a kid inside and like stuff that's meant for kids.

I mean I still love cartoons because most live action shows and movies bore me and I just find cartoons more interesting. I also really love games from Nintendo because I love the cartooney, colorful style to them and while I'm not a huge gamer I still love them. The thing is I will continue to enjoy cartoons and I hope to have an animation career as well.

But now that I'm 18, I'm allowed to do more things such as calling 1-800 numbers and secretly ordering weird inventions, Or I can use a credit card and Paypal, etc.

There are some famous celebrities who still feel like a kid such as Shigeru Miyamoto who created Mario and had an awesome imagination.

I mean I could be just like him!

Just because I'm 18 now doesn't mean I can't enjoy kids stuff anymore or be imaginative. So I can still be a kid inside.
  4. TheJLeeTeam
Now I'm not a huge gamer but for a few months I've been thinking of getting a Playstation 4. Now here's the catch, the only game I really want to get for it is Kingdom Hearts III. Yes it could take a while for it to come out and it's coming for Xbox One as well, but I wanted to get a PS4 for it because I like the design, brand, and controller better. Now I mostly play on Nintendo systems and I do play on PC just for Rollercoaster Tycoon but I've owned a PS2, and really liked the Kingdom Hearts series and I'm a big fan of Disney. I've played a few KH games already and I haven't owned a Playstation product for a while.

I might get it in the summer and I might get that Guilty Gear game since I kind of like 2D fighting games in arcades and they are good pick up and play games. And maybe I'll get Blazblue as well but other than those and KH III there's nothing else on PS4 that appeals to me at the moment. I'm not asking you to recommend any more games

Even though I won't get a lot of games for it, it also plays DVD and Blu Ray and I'm a huge animation fan, I still prefer physical media, and I still don't have a Blu Ray Player yet. So even though I won't get too many PS4 games, I can still use it as my primary Blu Ray player. Maybe it might not be the best player but it will work for me.

I just want to say that I will be leaving the brony fandom forever and let me explain why.

With FiM I lost all interest in that show and it became too boring for me. It was way better when Faust was involved. So I will not watch FiM anymore and don't care what happens next so I won't get into Season 5 at all.

In addition I will stop using these forums, I will get rid of all of my pony merchandise, cancel any and all projects I had planned, and I decided to cancel my attendance to Babscon. I'm really sorry to say this.

Now let me end with a huge goodbye message:

So why is it that Pokémon still appeals to me along with millions of others after like 2 decades? Because for those who never played Pokémon they see it as some kind of fad and yes Pokémon was very popular when it first came out yet after the craze wore off Pokémon is still popular to this day. Why is that?

    One word: Simplicity

Pokémon is a very simple RPG, and one I can easily pick up and play sort of like a puzzle game and is accessible to play. Easy to learn but hard to master. And Pokémon has a higher replay value to me than most RPGS, for instance most RPGS, I have a hard time replaying once I beat the story, But I have an easier time replaying Pokémon. Some people don't like it because it's not very complex but I like it for that reason. I like that there is a 4 move limit, It just makes it more simple for me. And because of the simplicity it's easy to get into the competitive scene as well. It just feels natural to play for me. If Pokémon was too complex it would be a passive interest. And I like that most of the monsters are cute, because cute characters are more relatable to me than fierce highly detailed ones. There are lots of Pokémon clone games but most of them are too complex for me though I am planning on getting Youkai Watch.

This goes with the TCG, The TCG was simple enough to play for me. I have a hard time getting into Yu Gi Oh, Magic, and MLP TCG because they were too complex for me.

And that is why Pokémon still appeals to me. Sometimes simplicity is what makes a game so good.

I'm here to announce that I'm working on a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic YouTube Poop.

I want to make this one special so I will be taking my time with it. But as a spoiler this Poop will contain scenes from quite few different episodes but the episode that will be in there the most is The Crystal Empire parts 1 and 2. I chose these episodes to be the main source because after getting confused by them and analyzing them so much, I became so familiar with them that I have a bunch of ideas for those episodes.

I will be using Sony Vegas Pro 12 to make it so it won't be low quality like if I did this in Movie Maker.

As for the release date I'm hoping to complete it by Summertime. I still have High School and other things in my life other than the Internet and making projects. But if I have a lot of time, I could finish it in Late March/Early April. I like to make this as good as I can so it will take me a while to make it.

Just as a warning, it will contain some strong language.

So in Summer 2014 I got into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and became obsessed. I joined in July and I was still very obsessed with it mainly because it was a new show with a wonderful fandom similar to Adventure Time a few years ago. Starting in September however my enthusiasm started to wear down mainly because by then I've seen pretty much every episode and I think it's only natural that happened.

I have Aspergers Syndrome and I tend to become over-obsessed especially when I watch a new TV series or get into a new game series I really like and I want to learn everything about it as fast as I could. I may even become obsessed with just a certain character even if it's not very popular such as Gardevoir from Pokémon or Princess Cadance.

For example in 2010-2012 I was really obsessed with Adventure Time but my enthusiasm for that show wore down not because it was getting worse but just because my enthusiasm just wore down after I became obsessed really quickly and right now that is happening MLP as well because I'm not as obsessed as I was back in July but I still watch it and I will still be here just not as active.

So whenever I become obsessed with a show or game quickly my enthusiasm eventually wears off a little.

So don't worry I'm not leaving anytime soon I just wanted to talk about my activity on MLPForums at the moment. I am excited for Season 5 and I'm planning on going to BABscon as well.

The Crystal Empire parts 1 and 2 are my most watched episodes of MLP. It's not because they are some of my favorites but it was the most bizarre one I've seen and confused me the most. I had to watch it several times to understand what was going on. For example I didn't understand why some of the ponies were shining and turned transparent with gradient manes and jewelry.

Anyway one of the things I've noticed was that when the Crystal Empire returned, there was no ruler present. We didn't even see one during Sombra's rule in the past. According to the Journal of the Two Sisters, there was a ruler called Princess Amore who used to be there who was a former Crystal Princess. And Princess Cadance has a cutie mark that resembles the Crystal Heart, and she has a gradient mane just like the crystal ponies. One of the crystal ponies referred to her as the Crystal Princess. Also Meghan McCarthy states she is a distant relative of Amore. And that means Cadance is part Crystal Pony.

So here's my theory though it may sound a little silly. Princess Amore decided to take a break from the Crystal Empire and went on vacation and leave the Crystal Guards in charge of the empire. Sombra took over, Celestia and Luna banished him and he used the curse to transport the empire about 1,000 years into the future. And when Amore got back from her vacation, she noticed the empire was gone. On a side note Celestia also banished Luna shortly after they banished Sombra. Anyway Amore asked to stay with Princess Celestia. Celestia told her the next Crystal Princess will be whatever great granddaughter Amore has when the empire returns, in this case Cadance. Over the centuries Amore had children, grand children, great grandchildren, and so on until finally Cadance was born. And when the Empire was revived, Celestia sent a letter saying she is the new Crystal Princess.

So that's my headcanon on the Crystal Empire and origins of Princess Cadance. It may sound weird or silly but that's what I can come up with.

Since the much anticipated Slice of Life came out last see I want to give my thoughts on it. I thought it was a great episode because it was special and stood out from other episodes. It focused on background ponies which were mostly only known by the fandom and I think its cool to have a whole episode dedicated to them because Id much rather see the featured on official content than fan content. It may be considered fan pandering but still it was special and very different. I thought the wedding was pretty good too and I thought it was funny to see Shining crying. And the ending message by the mane 6 was pretty good too.

I feel like tho was the best episode to end on since we get actual official back story on background ponies and I enjoyed the wedding part. This was my favorite Season 5 episode so far. I'm sure kids would like this to because they are interested in these characters and want official backstory. I feel like this was the best episode to end on before I started fresh with FiM, and I rewatched the first 2 episodes. So I'm going to hold off the rest of the upcoming episodes so I can go back to the earlier episodes and rewatch those.

So yeah great episode and I may still go on these forums occasionally but not to discuss the show but for other things like blogs and certain character fan clubs.

Now the MLP: FiM movie which actually features ponies and not the human versions from Equestria Girls doesn't come out until 2017. So with MLP movies the only ones we have are the Equestria Girls ones from G4 and there's one from G1 from 1986 but I haven't seen it so I can't judge it. But Equestria Girls series while I thought was okay was too cliche and just not very good.

But I would like to talk about a movie that's not from the MLP franchise but still technically pony related, and is IMO better than Equestria Girls. I'm not talking about Spirit.

The movie I'm talking about is the 15th Pokémon movie: Kyurem vs. the Swords of Justice from 2012.

Now why am I comparing this movie to the Equestria Girls series?

Well first of all both this movie and Equestria Girls are pony related in some way. Equestria Girls takes place in the MLP universe with human versions of ponies in a high school setting. Kyurem vs. the Swords of Justice is pony related because the main protagonist Pokémon Keldeo is a pony, not a G4 MLP pony but still a pony character and if you think about it Keldeo kind of resembles a G4 My Little Pony. Now before you say Keldeo is a rip off of G4 MLP, I'd like to mention that Keldeo first appeared in Pokémon Black & White which originally came out in September 2010 which was a month before FiM first aired and the brony fandom boomed, so Keldeo is technically not a rip off from G4 MLP but Keldeo does kind of resemble G4 MLP ponies with features like big round eyes etc.

Another thing is that this movie has some friendship themes to it and Keldeo has friends as well which aren't ponies but still based on hoofed creatures such as Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion which are based off an antelope, ox, and goat respectively. Also there are inspirational messages in this movie too similar to FiM

This movie stands out from other Pokémon movies because Ash isn't given too much focus in this movie, instead most of the movies focuses on Keldeo and I've also gained an emotional bond with him in this movie. In this movie Keldeo wants to be a member of the Swords of Justice so he fights the Ice Dragon Kyurem, Keldeo does it recklessly though and Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion get frozen in ice and has to save them but Keldeo runs away and has to rematch Kyurem.

I feel this movie does certain aspects better than Equestria Girls, I like the plot better, it's got more action, I feel it's more emotional than Equestria Girls series and even a lot of FiM episodes as well, It's more tense and serious, decent character development, it's a lot less cliche, and it's got some inspirational morals that I feel are better than the morals from Equestria Girls. It's not an MLP movie and there aren't many ponies but this movie centers around a pony or more specifically a Ponymon.

As a Pokémon movie it's actually my favorite Pokémon movie (That's right I enjoyed this more than Mewtwo Strikes Back, my favorite anime movie, and one of my Top 10 movies of all time and I feel this movie is better than the Equestria Girls movies. Pokémon movies are usually a mixed bag for me and don't turn out to be very great but this one was surprisingly great. And this movie and Keldeo was my biggest motivation to get into MLP:FiM. Similar to how I get into a game series because of Super Smash Bros. The actual MLP:FiM movie comes out in 2017 and I will probably enjoy that, but this movie will always hold a special place in my heart. And also Keldeo was voiced by Vic Mignogna who is to me the Tara Strong of anime because he played many roles in lots of anime such as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, and he's also got a cool voice.

    I give this movie a 9/10

This Day is Going to be Perfect...

The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small...

What I mean is that today I am finally going to graduate High School! And I will finally be able to move on with my life. I'll be moving to the Bay Area and go to college and learn about animation which is my number 1 passion.

I also have summer break, I will be taking a cruise trip to Alaska, and I have some projects I want to work on. Some YouTube Poops and some fanart. Speaking of which, my MLP YTP which I've been working on for 3 months now will be uploaded next week. It's called YouTube Poop: Twilight Enters the Twilight Zone and will be about 7 1/2 minutes long. I feel like I've improved in YTP skills over the spring. But I probably won't make another MLP YTP, maybe I'll do an Equestria Girls Poop but that will be about it, because I want to try different sources whether they are my other favorite shows or ones from my childhood. And I won't put in a ton of pony jokes but instead might make jokes similar to Trudermark because I like his style.

Welcome to my fifth and final part of my top 10 lists for my favorite shows. Part 1 was Nickelodeon shows, Part 2, was Cartoon Network shows, Part 3 was Disney shows, Part 4 was Anime shows, and now Part 5 will be about My Top 10 Miscellaneous/Other shows. This list will include shows not generally from Nick, CN, Disney, or Anime and generally from other networks whether it's Fox, Discovery, PBS, or whatever.

    Here We Go!

    #10: Thomas & Friends

This is a show from my childhood about anthropomorphic trains like Thomas and adventures on Sodor. When I was a kid I used to have toys as well. I don't watch this much anymore but it's one from my childhood.

    #9: Super Mario World

This was based on the Snes game Super Mario World and is my favorite Mario cartoon show. It's the most relatable Mario show for me, and it's got some funny yet cheesy gags but yeah it's pretty decent.

    #8: Magic School Bus

Another show I remember from my childhood. This show follows school kids and their teacher going on the Magic School Bug and taking field trips to all kinds of places like Outer Space, the Ocean or whatever. This is one of my favorite educational shows.

    #7: Looney Tunes

The original Looney Tunes cartoons from the 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's are some of the greatest cartoons of all time. How else can I sum them up than by saying, They're funny, they're clever, they're absolutely wonderful.

    #6: Popeye the Sailor

Even though Looney Tunes is so good, the classic cartoon I'm more fond of is Popeye which is a sailorman who eats spinach to get strength, and fights Bluto most of the time.

    #5: Wallace & Gromit

A british stop motion claymation style show I've seen since I was a wee lad. It follows a man named Wallace who loves cheese and his dog Gromit. There is also a spin off called Shaun the Sheep which I have yet to see. It's my favorite british show.

#4: Scooby Doo Where Are You

The original Scooby Doo series centers around 4 teens and a dog named Scooby Doo and they solve mysteries of monsters and the supernatural. This is my favorite classic Hanna Barbera cartoon not counting Powerpuff Girls.

    #3: Arthur

One of the best shows of the 90's and one I feel that doesn't get enough recognition is Arthur. Based on the children's book series, this show follows Arthur in his daily life and this show also has some valuable messages and is designed to help people with issues like Autism or Asperger's Syndrome like myself.

#2: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Yes you all knew this one would make the list. It centers around colorful ponies who learn the lessons of friendship and like Arthur has some valuable messages and I feel that's one of the best parts and I feel the messages it has don't get enough credit. I mean even the worst episodes have some valuable messages. But what else can I say other than it's cute with cute characters, relaxing, and is a nice break from other shows. But it's only at #2, what other show can top it? Well...

And my #1 Favorite Misc. Show of All Time is...

Honorable Mentions: Rick & Morty, Sesame Street, South Park, Family Guy, Shaun the Sheep, Animaniacs, Tom & Jerry, Flintstones, Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Cyberchase, Littlest Pet Shop, Dan Vs, Futurama, American Dad, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Dragon Tales

So thanks for looking at my list of Misc. shows. And this was my final list for TV shows so I hope you enjoyed them.

I decided to do a review on the New Nintendo 3DS XL which came out in February. I've got it since the launch so here is my review. Now everyone was shocked when this was announced but I was okay because I felt like I needed to upgrade anyway since my original launch 3DS died the same month.

The New 3DS XL is an upgrade to the Original 3DS XL but this version has new features including faster processing power, Amiibo Support, Face Tracking 3D, and Built in C Stick and ZL and ZR buttons. It's glossy but not completely glossy like the original 3DS. It feels really good because it's rounded and feels really comfortable to hold. And it also retains the button layout, dual screen, and touch screen.

Unfortunately there is also a regular size version that's slightly smaller and more compact with interchangeable faceplates but that one is not available in America only in Japan, Europe, and Australia. If it only came out in Japan it would make more sense but if it came out in Europe and Australia too the smaller one should've come out in America too. But I don't think it's a huge loss because the XL is still pretty compact and not too much bigger.

Some improvements include faster processing, which I mostly only saw for load times in games like Super Smash Bros. because load times are quicker. It also has Face Tracking 3D which means you will still see the 3D even when your eyes move around. However it's not perfect because sometimes when I move so fast it takes time for track your eyes but still an improvement. Also there is Amiibo support where you can use Amiibo figures in games like Super Smash Bros. and use them as characters.

However it does have drawbacks. For one the system doesn't come with an AC Adaptor so anyone who has never owned any system from the DSi or 3DS lines has to buy one seperately. I certainly don't mind since I've owned 3 of the same AC Adaptors from those lines so it's only a big deal if you've never owned any of those systems. Another drawback is that it uses microSD instead of standard SD cards but here's the kicker you have to use a screwdriver to access it making using external storage impractical. So if you're going to use the Micro SD slot often, it can feel inconvenient.

The graphics aren't the best. They are low res and graphics don't look as smooth as on other devices but the graphics still look very good.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL has a ton of games available for it both physical and digital. There are games from iconic franchises like Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, A Link Between Worlds, Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Star Fox 64 3D, Super Smash Bros for 3DS, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Tomodachi Life, Monster Hunter 4, etc. There is also the eShop which have cheaper downloadable games and apps. There's not as many apps as the iOS App Store but it's still very diverse. There are a bunch of games on there including classic Gameboy, Gameboy Color games, and NES games. One game from the eShop I play a lot is Pokémon Battle Trozei which is an addicting puzzle game and I use mostly that as my quick fix gaming. I just want to point that out because some people aren't aware the 3DS has an app store equivalent. There is also this app called Colors 3D which is a really good art program. The New 3DS XL will have a few games exclusive to it like Xenoblade Chronicles 3D which takes advantage of the faster processing power. Not to mention it's also backwards compatible with DS games giving you thousands of games to play on it.

    Pros:
    Massive Game Library
Built in C Stick and ZL/ZR buttons
    Well Built
    Faster processing
    Very Comfortable to hold
    Good Handheld Graphics
    Stable 3D
    Amiibo Support
    DS Backwards Compatibility

    Cons
Regular Size available everywhere but America
    Doesn't include AC Adapter
You need a screwdriver to access the Mcro SD slot
Not many New 3DS XL exclusive games out yet

Overall The New 3DS XL is a great handheld. But if you already have a 3DS I wouldn't recommend it unless you want the faster processing, Amiibo supports, or exclusive games like Xenoblade. Xenoblade is the only exclusive game out now so I would wait for more exclusives to come out. But for those new to the 3DS line or those who really need to upgrade I highly recommend yo get this system.

As my High School graduation gets closer and closer, specifically on May 29th, I have been on a budget lately and I don't want to spend much money until I get a part time job hopefully in August or September. But I'm really eager to pick up some older games as soon as I can including Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Pokémon Conquest, Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 64 DS, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, etc. I'd like to get those by the end of the year. And I also want to start a Blu Ray Collection, and hopefully by the end of the year. get a new Desktop PC to replace my laptop as a better PC to edit videos on.

Also I haven't really been posting a lot on this forum this month. I'm super busy into finishing High School. Also I have been working on my MLP YouTube Poop. I've been working on it a little each day. And I will probably have it done in June and I will upload it on my YouTube channel. Spoilers, the title of it will be called "Twilight Enters the Twilight Zone".

So I just wanted to give an update on where my life is going at the moment.

So I decided to do a top 10 list of my favorite cartoons/TV shows of all time. I'm a huge cartoon enthusiast so I decided to do a top 10. However I have so many favorites spread throughout different networks that doing a general list would be hard for me and it's hard to pick a number 1 favorite. I decided to say shows instead of just cartoons because I have a few favorite live action shows too. I won't combine all into one.

So I decided to make 5 seperate lists of favorite shows from a different category:

    My Top 10 Nickelodeon Shows
My Top 10 Cartoon Network Shows
    My Top 10 Disney Shows
    My Top 10 Anime Shows
My Top 10 Miscellaneous Shows (Which are shows from other networks and also not anime)

And just to let you know, these are my top 10 lists so if you don't agree with where a show is placed or your favorite show isn't on my lists please don't freak out. I will probably make these throughout the next week or weeks.

The Nintendo Entertainment System or NES was Nintendo's first console outside of Japan and it has a lot of classic games. I actually didn't grow up during the NES I was born in '97 but there are some gems I enjoy playing on it. So I'll give you my top 10 NES games of all time.

    Here We Go!

    #10: Kid Icarus

At number 10 is the original Kid Icarus. I will put this low on my list because it can be quite frustrating sometimes. But I liked the greek mythological theme to it and the variety in levels and enemies.

    #9: DuckTales

This game is based on the cartoon show DuckTales and I think this game has aged as well as the TV series. DuckTales was one of the few 80's shows I enjoyed and was a great show. And Disney is even going to reboot this series in 2017. The gameplay of DuckTales is solid where you keep bouncing going through levels and collecting treasures along the way.

    #8: Legend of Zelda

Next is the original Legend of Zelda and is actually one of my favorites in the series because of the simplicity. It feels clunky compared to later games but I think it's still fun to play. I find it easy to pick up and play because there is barely any text or tutorials but I would say it has one of the weaker stories in the series.

    #7: Balloon Fight

I liked the concept of Balloon Fight where you fly with balloons and pop the other enemies balloons. I thought that was a neat concept. I found this game to be a simple fun and addicting arcade style game. And it also has an extra mode called Balloon Trip which is fun too.

    #6: Popeye

Here's another game based on a cartoon series, Popeye. This is a port of the Nintendo arcade game and is actually a solid adaptation of the cartoon. You play as Popeye trying to avoid Bluto and you collect hearts, music, or help letters from Olive Oyl and you can even get spinach. Like Balloon Fight this is a simple, fun arcade game.

    #5: Mr. Gimmick

This one is kind of a hidden gem and it was only released in Japan and Europe, and is a rare game these days. Regardless this is a fun yet challenging platformer game where you play as Gimmick, a cute creature who can generate stars. I thought that was a neat concept. It can be challenging because the way the star bounces are based on a physics mechanic that can be frustrating at times. I also like the color and detail in this game.

    #4: Kirby's Adventure

This is one of my favorite Kirby games ever. It's the first Kirby game where you get the copy ability so you can mess with different abilities which is fun to do. It has a wide variety of levels, and enemies. And this game also has some bonus games like a crane game and a gun draw game. A very fun platformer and it was remade for the GBA.

    #3: Mother/Earthbound Zero

Mother is the prequel to Earthbound on the SNES and there's not many differences. The sequel on SNES feels more like a reboot more than a sequel but this is my favorite RPG on the NES. It has a modern setting, has varied worlds, and quirky enemies and dialogue. This game is the weakest in the series mainly because it's harder and more grinding but it's still cool to check out. While the graphics and game mechanics don't hold up well the music is still great.

    #2: Super Mario Bros.

Oh yeah you knew this was coming. The original Super Mario Bros that started it all. A solid platforming game where you play as Mario and try to defeat Bowser and save Princess Peach. It was remade for Super Mario All Stars and Gameboy Color and I would say the Gameboy Color version is the definitive version but the original on the NES started it all.

And my #1 favorite NES game is...

So that was my Top 10 NES Games of all time. What are yours?

So recently I just saw the latest Nicktoon called Harvey Beaks and because of their abysmal shows recently such as Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners and the crappy live action shows they had, I had low expectations for this show.

I watched and wow this is actually a decent show. This was made by C.H. Greenblatt who also made Chowder so it has similar animation. Though I think the backgrounds look kind of bland. The characters are more kid relatable than Sanjay and Craig or Breadwinners because they're not really teenagers.

There is a bunch of toilet humor but it does have serious tame moments in this show as well. Which means this show is a lot more respectable and emotional than recent nicktoons. But I still liked Chowder better. However this might be a good sign for Nickelodeon.

Tomorrow only I will be attending Babscon. I've never been to a pony convention before and I'm excited for it. I won't be cod playing but I will wear a very special T-shirt. One of the first things I want to do there is ask Tara Strong about Vic Mignogna because he voiced Keldeo in the 15th Pokémon movie and heard they are friends.

Also I will be turning 18 in less than a week. I'm definitely excited for that as well.

So 2015 will be very crucial year because I'll turn 18, graduate High School, and maybe go to college. I want to become and animator and want to take that animation classes in college.

I've wanted to also make animations for YouTube but I don't have good ideas for animations and the ones I do have are better off as drawings on Deviantart or something. However I have lots of ideas for Youtube Poops and I want to make them to entertain people. YouTube Poops are a quicker and easier process and It's a good way to be artistic. I actually have an idea for a YTP that involves Twilight Sparkle going into the Twilight Zone. I'm currently working on a Pokémon poop and I'm just remixing gags for that poop and just using it as a testing ground.

I'd like to get Adobe CC some time and make drawings for Deviantart. While I can use Youtube to make comedic YTP's, I can use Deviantart to make more light hearted drawings.

I also want to have a great collection of Pokémon cards, DVD's for animated shows and movies, and Nintendo and Sega consoles.

This year I decided to get into the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic mostly just to watch a nice show to stray away from my stresses in the video game industry. The first episode I watched was Winter Wrap Up in April on Hub. Also during that month I remember seeing Call of the Cutie, Return of Harmony, Lesson Zero, Daring Don't, Flight to the Finish, and Power Ponies but I still wasn't really into the show yet. In May the only episodes I remember seeing were Friendship is Magic because I wanted to watch the pilot to better understand this show and I saw Trade Ya.

It wasn't until June when I really started to watch this show. I was watching the Hub every weekday watching 3 episodes a day in order starting with the Pilot around June 1st. A couple days before I picked up some merch including TCG and a coloring book. I was going to use the coloring book on the plane to New York later that month. I believe the day before I went on my New York Trip was June 11th and I wanted to watch a lot of 2 parters and season premieres and finales before the trip. Online I watched Canterlot Wedding, Crystal Empire, Magical Mystery Cure, and Princess Twilight Sparkle. And that day Cadance pretty much became my favorite character on the show, in fact I care more about her than the Mane 6. Then I continued to watch a bunch of episodes in June and July and I pretty much covered the entire series in less than 3 months. Also in July I got a Rainbow Dash from Build a Bear but I would've got Cadance if they had one and I also got Cards and watched several fan animations on Youtube and joined this forum. In August I saw the much of the marathon Hub had and I picked up Elements of Harmony and Journal of the Two Sisters. So this will be one of my most memorable summers because it was the summer of MLP.

September was a dry spell because I didn't see new content and didn't pick up merchandise. October I got to see Rainbow Rocks and picked up the Daring Do Collection. And currently we're in a bigger dry spell until Spring but I have been getting some merchandise during this time. For Christmas I got Season 3, and Rainbow Rocks DVD and ordering Season 4. I like to say this is a show about ponies that anyone can enjoy much like how Fairly Odd Parents is a show about fairies that can appeal to anyone and not just girls.

So those are my personal experiences with MLP this year.
