  1. @Illiad Easle (Cherish) She staggered briefly, as the thoughts entered her mind. This... Yes, now she were sure that this wasn't just her own thoughts. She didn't speak to herself like that. This were someone else, talking about this situation. Pretty creepy honestly, but she had to just... Hope that maybe she could ignore it for a bit more, while she spoke to Elef. She was so confused right now. The one in her head loved him? Certainly wasn't her, since she thought he were cool, and yes, kinda cute, but she barely knew him. She had no idea if she felt any love, or if she were just happy to have friends to speak with, and preferred him a bit more than the others, because she really liked thestrals. Her emotions were as confusing as her thoughts right now. Sadness, concern, confusion, anger, fear- She wasn't even sure at this point what were her, and what were this uh... Presence? "Elef... You're not a monster. I dunno what happened to you, but Mrs. Void can he-" Being all confused and uncertain what were going on with Elef, as well as her, she hadn't noticed that she had begun walking backwards away from hm, and towards the tunnels, before she were several meters that way already, yet felt like she should keep going. It felt like an actual struggle to stop herself, even if she did manage to. Yet her legs still tensed, wanting to keep walking, and her feelings were getting weirder. A strange sense of deja vu, and dread, that she didn't understand. It were like she had done this before, and something were about to happen that were going to end very poorly. She kept still, though her words withered on her lips, and her gaze kept on Elef, as he were some distance in front of her, though she were in turmoil. If he moved towards her, or did something spooky, her legs would win, and she'd take off in the other direction, though she'd beat herself up over it later, more than likely. ===================================================================== (Ranger) "Better wary than dead, nice. You're thinking like a survivor." It was meant as a compliment. The sort of survivalist thought process, where it were better to be cautious when able, than suffering the consequences for being too bold. Same sort of folks who tended to check traps, make sure their equipment were ready, and any weapon were loaded, just in case. A fine line between being prepared, and being overcautious though, but usually took experience to fine-tune that. But enough about his school-time lessons. They got a place to roam through. So far, this place were creeping him out. Plenty of signs of bad things, that he definitely did not want to run across. Some real messed up stuff, to collect all of this stuff in one place. That were bound to go wrong sooner or later, as it evidently had. Though the more concerning option of course, were not that they had gathered all of them, but rather had made them. The world were messed up enough as it were, without some sciencey types making all kinds of horrors! And yet, eventually they came to one that caused him pause, and made him stop to gaze on not in horror, but in bafflement. A depiction of something most holy to his kin, if it were indeed what he thought. It seemed pretty darn close at the least, and it were impossible for him not to see it, as he were all but ingrained to know, as this were the sort of legend all kitsune would know off, that had grown up even remotely proper. "T-They had... Impossible. The many-tailed are too powerful to be contained... Ranger, is there... Is one of the divine ones here?" He were unsure, as this were but a picture or a picture, of a shadow. Might just be a reference for all he knew, but maybe if there were one in here, and they were still sane of mind... His people needed a unified leader. He might be able to go around and find some, and lead them home, but he were no elder. Barely a proper adult, he didn't have the time, knowledge, or experience to be what they needed now. But one of the many-tailed? They were the strongest of their kin. Mystical figures of legends, that were only known to appear under very rare occasions. Now more than ever, one could arise and be a beacon of hope that their kin sorely needed. Knowing his luck though, there was just a picture, and if there actually were one here, they were mad and evil. Maybe *gulp* Maybe even an oni, though an oni of that caliber, would be a most frightening thing. Depending on the answer, he'd bow his head and say a silent prayer of a few seconds, before following Ranger onwards. Though if the picture seemed lose, and there were no indication there were one trapped behind the door it were at, he'd take the picture along with him, and stuff it in his tail. It were fairly easy to pop an easy spell to glue it to the hair in there, and it weighed nothing. It were a picture, not a brick. "If one of you fell here, that certainly sounds like something that you wouldn't want to talk about to their friends. I'm sorry that you had to go through that, Ranger. I'll try to have a look." He'd clear a bit of rubble and dust from the middle of the room, and would sit down, front paws gathered, and closed his eyes. It looked as if he were meditating, and whilst that were happening, slowly a mint-green mist would spread from the tip of his tail, and swirl around him, before expanding across the room. As it hit Ranger, she would get a feeling as if she were receiving a warm hug, just without the familiar sense of touch that usually came with Void's embraces, nor her motherly energy. Yet there were a welcoming, soothing warmth to the energy, that dissipated as the slow moving swirl would hit the walls, and when the last were gone, he would open his eyes once more, and look around. "No, she's not here. The room's clean. Well, relatively speaking. No lingering souls at least, though there's some lingering energy. You can see it if you look closely." It were faint, but the mist had seemingly *stuck* in the air a few places, as if dust had been sprayed around, and there were several spots in the air, where a minute amount would linger, though it wasn't much, nor very long. "A soul would've been notable, and then I'd have to do the other half to make them visible. Darn zebra wouldn't let me sleep before I memorized it..." Wasn't last night, but a few hours after he had been hired at the casino. The fear-loving zebra had approached him, and told him that he were going to show him how to do this, and wouldn't take no for an answer. Kozue assumed it were just because he wanted to make sure that he had someone that could help him check out the town at some point for spirits, but he were starting to think it were more for this trip. Sneaky mystic, but so were some of their kin, and generally speaking, he were meant to show those respect. It were customary between kitsune and zebra of that profession, as both sides tended to understand that if either meddled, there were a good reason for it. At least it were like that were he grew up, even if the chance to run into zebra in Neighpon were not exactly massive. "That said... Where's the bodies? We saw plenty coming in here, yet in here? Can't even see a tooth anywhere. So... Zombies, or scavengers, I'd think. Reeeeally hoping for the scavengers, of those two options." He'd feel a bit creeped out, and would recast the cloak on them, as he couldn't go and keep that active while he were spending the three minutes to *scan* the room. ================================================================================= (Null) "I didn't tell you, because I wanted him to have a chance. By all accounts, it looked like a tragic accident, not something planned. And when that other guard said she'd handle things, I thought he'd be kept in check." She'd briefly grab Arcade, unless he stayed near as she were talking. Depended on how long it'd take him to find his knife. Likely she wouldn't have to, as putting a note took time, so she'd probably get to just say her piece there. "I'm sorry for not telling you, but she was gone, and I thought maybe I could at least save him. I still want to believe that." if he were feral, or had hurt the filly with him... That blood was on her hooves, and she knew it. But there hadn't been an update that he had killed her. Might be he had just run off, to avoid doing something he might regret. They had to find him to see, and she wasn't keen on executing a kid. Hopefully they would, before something went wrong, though she might have to stop Arcade too, and that wasn't something she'd look forward to either. "Can't remember if they did, yet this place ain't safe to go around alone. But sadly, we don't have the time to take it slow. I'll go topside, and head downward, in case they went that way. Least one of us should find them. Take care in there, okay? And please, don't do anything rash." She'd reach out to touch him on the cheek, if he allowed it, but otherwise, would fly towards the top entrance. And on the way, she'd start talking to Nine. "Think it's time to turn on whatever we got, Nine. We gotta act fast to find the kids before we end up with another tragedy." She'd have whatever she had brought along on the trip to New Las Pegasus with her, as she had grabbed that before waking up Arcade. She tended to keep those things ready. Especially any blade, in case someone tried to break in during the night. "...Do you think I did the right thing? With Elef, I mean. Was it wrong to give him a chance?" ======================================================================= (Grey) While it might not raise suspicion, she didn't want anyone just randomly grab hold of her dagger, and find out what it were able to do. Red wouldn't let her go anywhere unwatched, if she knew about that being in her possession. So she'd still have it, but would hold it behind a few other blades, giving her a minor selection, based on what the situation required. Along with some blacksmithing tools, in case she had to get something done to prove things, which could well happen. For all Yannit knew, they'd have the need for someone to fix up their weapons, and she had to be ready to play the part. Craven wasn't very good at sensing hidden changelings, but Yannit had some better luck with it, and sensed a few, though that were hardly important right now, as she saw who were running this show, and her gaze settled on her. No one else here were as centered as her, except for the one with her, and that were the recruiter, not the leader. No, this had to be Red. The urge to go and stab her right here and now were small though. This were a poor place to do so, surrounded by witnesses, and at a distance. This sort of thing, to kill her or knock her out, they'd get one chance, and it had to count. Doing it here and now, would be idiotic. Thankfully Craven agreed, as he looked around, concerned with the amount of attendants present. Seemed to already be a notable amount, ready to toss themselves into this. Any one of them, potentially being the next leader of the uprising, if this were handled poorly... What a nightmare this whole situation were going to turn into, at this rate. For now though, his plan wasn't attack, but scouting. Find out the broader details, what their time plan were, check for any weaknesses they could take advantage of, etc. Best to just blend into the crowd, keep their ears peeled, and see what they could learn. Both from Red, and whoever else were in attendance.
  2. @Catpone Cerberus Always good to have a few NPC's around. Will look forward to it. Just got home yesterday, so I should be able to get to work tomorrow'ish on stuff.
  3. @Catpone Cerberus @EQ_Theta Took some time, but finally done. Not my best work, but phone writing is dificult. xD
  4. @GingerLightning I'm so sorry, I didn't see your message! Things have been hectic for some time for me as well, so I am so behind with everything. I am honestly not sure, but uh... Probably? https://mlpforums.com/topic/110191-casual-stroll/page/474/ This here seems to be the last response I can find that involved you and I. ========================================================================= @Catpone Cerberus @EQ_Theta I'll be filling int he blanks as I can, over hopefully the rest of today. Have so much to do, so I am trying, but I am also behind sadly. Will do the best I can, but at least this allows me to use the template to fill it out on my phone when on the bus and such. And i did forget, Catpone. Thanks for the reminder.
  5. @Catpone Cerberus "Changelings are alright. Shape-shifting emotion eaters, so a hivemind? Probably not enough food for them to try and case you out. Might be you'd get along with some of their queens. Peculiar things really. All based around one main emotion, so the hives tend to be all kinds of different. Always had a preference for Queen Prudia myself. Crazed ol' hag had a heck of a fun hive. Shame what happened to 'em, but eh. Just how things goes. As you say, they come and they go. Just how it is with mortals." Chrysalis she never had much care for, but then, she also only ever cared about herself, and trying to take over Equestria. Glutton's seen enough of how that went over the years, to stay far away from those sorta plans. She didn't wanna end up as a lawn statue for a few millennia, or worse. Whatever that worse might be? She hadn't a clue, and no interest in finding out what'd be either. "And far as I know, they stay loyal cause the queens keep 'em fed, safe, and give them purpose. Plus only the queens can make eggs, so if they go and die, the hive's effectively dead. Seems to be enough of a motivator for most. Hmm... As for your hive, I see the logic in that. Cheating and outwitting you, that's just proving you got the smarts to lead, so it's more acceptable. But getting someone else to do all the heavy lifting, and just swoop in at the end, that's pretty weak sauce. Yeah, I c an see that. Can't go be a good leader if you can't even be bothered toppling the leader yourself. I'll keep that in mind, and let you deal with her. I'll just have some fun with your hive while you two duke it out." She were not gonna eat them, as she didn't want anti-magic in her gut, but she could still use the ragdolls as amusing playthings. And without killing any either, if she so wanted to. Always some fun to be had, even if bodily harm were off the table. As they did nothing to, or about the dragons, they would've gone on without any incident. Probably for the best too. The big one could probably cause some harm, if she were so inclined, and they didn't need to start any forest fires, or big fights. It wouldn't look good for Asildae, to get meddled up in that sort. Best to engage with society without having that sorta baggage over your head. Meant a lot less roadblocks in your way. Sometimes literally, depending on the amount of trouble you caused. ========================================================================= @Catpone Cerberus "Hmm... I see." They would talk again, after his remark towards her, but Magma were thinking over what he said. This were now guaranteed a not only multidimensional, but also nonlinear event, and while he didn't seem to worry much about it, she were not as certain about it as he. She'd need to run through some scenarios later, and analyse the available data, but from her current standpoint, it were problematic, as it made it impossible for them to predict what to expect. If things had progressed along the same timeline, they could prepare for potential bleed-over occurences, to fit with any point in the war, and get a solid history of its progress. Now though? Now they could face anything, at any time. A burning Canterlot might suddenly appear within the next hour, or a batallion marching to the first field, would show up in a year, and all the while, they'd be patching a history together via second-hoof information, that they may find on sites such as this. It were troubling to her, and she were certain that with more thought to it, she could think of more issues. For instance how monstrous the event must be, to tear apart not only their world, but time itself too. What if that would also at some point, come to them? Urgh, she hated doing so, but she would definitely need to go into the forbidden archives, once she got hold of the data from Center Zero. She knew that at least one of the Boom ancestors, had meddled with something that tore a hole between worlds, and they sealed it up to avoid things like that happening again. She were not interested in copying what they had done, of course, but there might be usable information in there regardless. Thise worries aside though, Vaz faced his own scrutiny and she needed to keep that in mind too. As his alternate self were now part of this, she'd need to include what information were there, in the reports for later. Her boss were a good stallion, but the way things had looked before she went through them, proved it would be more efficient if she handled such paperwork mostly by herself. And for that, she'd need to open her ears, and listen in well. It were... Quite a tale. A lot of it rather sad, and then ominous. A tall tale one might think, but considering what they had just seen, and the few things she had seen, heard and noticed about Vaz, she were inclined to believe he were telling the truth. A rather disturbing truth, but truth nonetheless. "You have my sympathy, Mr. Vaz. That is quite the unfortunate turn of events, that left you to be as you now are. I cannot offer much in the way of solutions, or much guidance on what will happen in the other world, or how to correct your current situation, but I may know where to find some answers, regarding the questions about your other world self. I can't say specifically where, but I know there is a town somewhere in Equestria, that harbors a family that dedicates itself to study and application of death magic, and matters of the soul. Generally in a positive way, if Professor Mortifica were to be believed. Family members of his own seemingly, that had relied on to get some of his own studies out, on the matter of necromancy. It shouldn't be too hard to find the exact location though. I know it is called Sanctuary, and the family in question refering to themselves as the Macabre clan. Perhaps there could be wisdom found there?" The Macabre clan were a lot nicer than the name implied. Usually they were in their town, or settled in various small places around Equrstria, where they helped the souls of those stuck after death, to move on. Their town were old and situated in a forest, along some other villages, and were generally visited sometimes by envoys from the guard, just to make sure everything were kept nice and good, but they kept on the straight and narrow. Proponents of necromancy not being an evil magic by itself, but just dependant on who used it. Of course, Vaz might have met members of said family before. They all had morose names, like Tomb Stone, Geist Hunter, or Sullen Dawn, but they were also usually cery bubbly, happy ponies. It were rare they looked as typical, as you'd think for necromancers, though there were the quirk that it were used by more than just unicorns, and that it were only mares and fillies who partook. Males of their clan were oddly unable to harness this magic. As for the other world equivalent, their family had likely been wiped out, or forcibly been weaponized some time ago. Their forest home were a millennia old, and in a well covered forest, so it really depended on what Nightmare Moon had done, more than likely. ============================================================================ @Catpone Cerberus "Well, you kinda are a protector. Ruby's been on pretty good behavior around you, and felt more protective too. I think you help make her push to be better and less rash, so in that way, you do help protect her from herself. Or maybe it was meant as in you keeping lil' old me safe. Really, it could be a multitude of things, and I doubt we'll know for sure, until we have more information." It were some odd titles that had been slung around earlier, she'd grant him that. Stuff that could do with an explanation, but she got the feeling they'd get that over time, or by asking the elder directly, and ot by rummaging on it themselves. Though hey, she didn't mind being wrong. If Charir suddenly got it, then she'd be happy about that too. Long as they'd get to understand, as it were kinda nagging at her now, if she were to be honest. Charir were inquisitive enough to ask the right questions, though she hadn't expected the one at the end. Well, she sorta had, but not now, or in this context. Aleays seemed like something he'd question in the longer run, and not when they were both thinking about his sister. But hey, least now she could give an answer without a translator. That were good, and it'd help to ease the air a bit. Probably. They'd see. She's coo slightly, as he scratched her chin, but held back a small giggle. "Oh those things? They're signs of affection. Remember, I didn't grow up around dragons. I were raised in a pack of diamond dogs. They show affection by squeezing chins, pets, and a good chin scratch. I'm not saying I think of you like a dog, don't you worry there. It's more that... I dunno, you and Ruby feels close to me. Like proper family even and it feels natural to show you affection. Especially you, cause you're such an adorable little whelpling, hehe. that and I do it to show appreciation and pride in what you do too. You might not think it's the case, but you've come a long way already Charir, and really learned well, from the things you've been faced with. I'm mighty proud of you." Honestly, that were no joke. Sure she liked to jest and do tricks, but she were, genuinely proud of Charir. Considering the severe change from his usual habitat, to the way Equestria worked, he had integrated and learned exceptionally well, in the short time he'd been there. Even got a taste of his magical potential, and wanted to learn that too. A flexible, absorbent mind like that? How could she be anything but proud of his accomplishments? Sides, like a pup, he were so adorable when he went on and elarned things. Made her want to just rush over and hug him many a time. Which were more of a habit she had gotten after hanging out with ponies a lot, over the centuries. "Anything else you're curious about, hun? Just ask, and I'll answer it best I can. Oh, you might not get the hun part either, right? With a mom like yours, I bet not. It's a short way of saying honey, which when refering to another creature, is usually a word of endearment. Likr something you'd say to your whelpling, for example." As for them moving on... She figured they'd just pick a direction then, and see what happened from there. At worst they'd get to see the sights, so there were probably nothing to lose from going at it like that. They just had to remember to chat up the more curious, talkative sorts they ran across. ============================================================================== @EQ_Theta "Hmm, think of what I can change... Things like now, where we go to the Longma elders? Talking with them, trying to explain, and make them understand, that is doing something for the future, yes? Something I can have an impact on?" Omen did try to understand, but it would help her if she had something concrete to work with, rather than something open-ended. It helped put things into context better, though she were relatively certain that she had the base gist of it. Maybe not something only she could do to change things, but something where she took part at least, which seemed to be mostly what Sen had said too, near the end. Shejust wanted to be sure, that she had understood him right. As for where she could change being down a bad path, that were something more difficult to grasp, as she were not always certain, if she were doing something bad. She knew if what she did went against Mother's teachings, but beyond that, she could be led astray, and not realize very quickly. Such as the case were with Rosa's mother, and how Omen had inadvertently helped her. As for Mother, she had retreated to her room to rest, and would say no more, yet she smiled and hoped for the best for her children. They had a hard journey in front of them, but she had faith that though it would undoubtedly be troublesome, they would pull through in the end. Omen would wave slowly at Xin and Ghilan as she saw them, but led them speak without interrupting them, instead looking at them, and trying to see if she could get any information from more than just words. She were not successful though, noting that Xin seemed to look odd, compared to Ghilan, but not knowing why that might be. The words had a little more to say, and it seemed they were leading somewhere. It being... Bad, news? Sen and Lin didn't smile much, after the huntsmaster's second were mentioned, so it didn't sound good. Maybe he would try to harm them, in some way? If he did, she stood ready to make good of her promise, to send him away. "Do you need help finding food? I can find berries or something?" Omen would ask this of Sen, before the talk went further, and if he said yes, she'd use a gate to go away, and be back within a few minutes, with her tongue wrapped around the base of a whole bush of berries. Nothing local though as she did not k ow what they could eat, so she had used a bush of wild blackberries that she had seen near the old castle in the Everfree Forest. She knew ponies ate of those, so they seemed safe for normal creatures. If not (or afterwards, in case she got confirmation that she should get something) she would turn her attention to Ghilan, assuming that he as a leader, knew what were happening. "What is wrong? Is it the mean one again? Is he going to do something? I told him if he tried, I would send him away. And I will, if he tries to hurt any of you." =============================================================== @EQ_Theta "I appreciate the sentiment, but young Twilight Sparkle were a curious mind, long before she came to my school. Her parents hold most of the credit for encouraging her to do her outmost, with her brilliant mind. I merely took her under my wing, and gave her access to everything she would need to blossom, and she have done so beyond my wildest expectations. One day she will make a good ruler." It were still to be seen if it would be of the kingdom in its entirety, or a part of it, such as what Cadence had ended up doing, but Celestia personally would think that when the day came, where Twilight had matured further, and grown more into her role, Luna and herself could leavd the kingdom safely in her grasp, while they finally got a chance to enjoy the world more broadly. She were doing well, but Twilight were still very innocent, and while that were endearing, one had to know when to make hard choices, for the betterment of the kingdom. That would likely be her last test, beyond knowing how to raise the sun and moon properly, of course. "You should be kinder to yourselves. While you made mistakes, you have had much time to learn from it, and to me, it is clear that you have no want to repeat the mistakes of the past. There is wisdom to be found, from those who come out the other side of catastrophe. In any case, I wish you all luck with any meetings you might have." She had stretched her time as much as she could. She needed to be on herway, to deal with one of those hard decisions, that she had been thinking off a few moments ago. Though she would have appreciated if the general had used a less... Revolting courier. Wig Woggle would at least be able to leave this all a good deal happier, as she were told thag she may get a repeat customer. Now she wasn't gonna go tell everyone they ould come, and they might see a golem, but word would spread, and folks were curious. Especially ponies. This could end up giving her the startup boost with non-changelings that she had hoped for! Oooh her queen were gonna be so proud of her, when she learned how well she were handling things here in the big city. "It does have a certain rustic charm to it, does it not? Of course, as an antique dealer, I may be somewhat biased, but I do so enjoy the old charm of this. Were it not for the lack of customers I would have had when I began, I would have likely settled in here. It would have been fitting, in a way. Though I do have a lovely vacation home in the area. A little place to be close to everything, while still getting some peace and quiet. It's utterly delightful. And worry not of speaking aloud of such homely memories, darlings. It is only good to hear that you can connect to the local charm, and if you care to try, there are a coffee vendor that roams the Old Town. It is nothing high-brow, but oh, how I wish I had the option to purchase her brew in raw form. Yet she is quite adamant that she does not sell her beans to anyone, only the warm coffee itself. I can admire her persistence." She had tried of course. Spoken of lucrative deals, ways she could get her in touch with customers of importance, an offer to pay quite generously for a bag every once in a while, to have in her office- But she were very adamant, that she had all the bits she needed, and enjoyed wandering randomly, to find those in need of a good cup of her special brew. Scarcity could put some pressure on the seller, of course, but that were rather excessive, and uncalled for, simply for some coffee from a local. Much better to simply keep asking every once in a while, and see if perhaps someday, she changed her mind. And until then, she could still simply purchase it, one cup at a time. Djdj "Oh, a little oppulence can be good at times, but I understand where you come from. Yet for these days, you are looking mostly upon the necessities of a home, though I suppose standards have changed over time. Lifetimes and cultures apart, as it were. Ah well, all to your benefit then, is it not? As for the topic of Shade Stealer and his guards, I assure you that there is ever a need for those willing to handle things that most would find distasteful. Celestia too have her own guards doing such work, under the guidance of General Dew's granddaughter. She's a very different mare to Shade. Very focused on having a positive, puplic opinion of her, and the stallions and mares that work for her, fhough if ever they saw the things she did, I can imagine it might change. Shade might be more... Abhorrent in his presentation, but her methods are far crueler, if she have reason to. I meet her for brunch every now and again. She's a delightful conversationalist. To return to herdarker counterpart, the previous general had his own troupe of more mundane sneaky types, but General Screecher dismissed them all when she took over, as she found them lacking. When Shade Stealer arrived in Canterlot though, she saw potential, where others scorned him, and gave him a chance. He seems very grateful for that. As for his methods, it's not part of the general way that criminals are reformed. Equestria tends to pride itself on a high rate of reforming those incarcerated, rather than making them feel scorned and angry when they leave the prisons, which tends to cause more crime to occur. It leaves our contry with a low rate of repeat offenders, as the vast majority do end up feeling remorse, and want to change. Equine nature if often that way, what with us being social creatures and all. Some are so heinous, that they will face harsher punishment, like getting changed to stone, or banished to another world, but those are very rare occurences. Yet there aresome who did hard crimes. Mass murderers, gang bosses, and so forth. Those who want to change, but have done rather unspeakable things. Some of those, are then approached by Shade, and given a chance. If they succeed fully, they get their mind wiped of sensitive information, and given a new identity, so they can try and regain a life, though they will still be scrutinised by the guards. Best to keep check and make sure history don't repeat itself and all that, yes? And before you ask, there are certain things that is considered beyond forgivable. Those who commit heinous crimes against younglings, most of all. The lucky ones of those, rot in jail. The unfortunate ones, gets caught by me." Though a calm tone, and her usual smile stayed on her face, the fleeting look in her eyes as she said that last bit, carried a certain sense akin to looking into the eyes of a predator, as it targetted it's weaker prey. Scarcity were not a fan of those who hurt youngsters, and if she had the opportunity to have them fall into the clutches of some of her like-minded, yet less delicate associates, she would happily do so. She may be presentable and do hers to seem a simple problem solver, and profiteer of shady business more than anything, but she were every bit as cruel as her worst counterparts in the Black Market circuit, if needed be. She would hardly have their respect, if her bark carried no bite after all. Though she tried to keep her hooves clean, and only employ the level of force needed, lest it were some who caught her personal ire, such as the previous example. "That aside though, it seems you approve of the dwelling. I were hoping that would be the case. I'm sure you'll expect me to now rush you along with your work, but we have an understanding, and I'm patient. To a certain extend, of course, but I'm sure you can understand that. For the time being, I would rather ask if perhaps you have questions of your own, before we move on to some of the finer details of our arrangement? Don't be shy now, I'll answer most questions. And worry not of the finer details. I merely mean the small of how we will interact with one another, the details of your ownership of this place, how to access the hidden compartments below, and other such things. Nothing too dramatic." She'd give off a short, pearly laughter. To think that one who presented herself as so cultured and friendly to others, were one of the most sought after dealers in the Black Market, were quite the thing. Especially as even if she were brought in on charges, she knew she would walk, as she had deals high up in the government, to the point where even those with strong morals in important positions, that she needed to work with her, begrudgingly had to accept that she were a lesser evil, that they needed free, rather than sitting in a cell.
  6. @Illiad Easle (Cherish) "No, this isn't home. Home is back in Troy. There's nothing out here." She'd get a brief, weird feeling as she approached, like she were annoyed at him, for some reason? It was probably just because he were being stubborn. Nothing she'd give much, if any thought to at all. It stumped her for a few seconds, but she did approach and stood next to him, trying to put a hoof on him, and shake him a little to see if she could get him to snap out of this weird mood he were in. She wouldn't be able to force him to do anything, as even for a pegasus, she weren't exactly a model of strength. She were a dainty young mare, who liked to read and write, more than pumping iron, or hunting. Elef could take her in a fight if it came down to it, and she knew that. When he wandered into the tunnel, she stood for a few seconds, debating what to do. This were dangerous, but... So were being out here all alone, and if she did leave, then what? Elef would be by himself, perhaps getting hurt, and what if he never came back? She'd miss him, and she knew that Mrs. Void definitely would, as he were one of her kids, and she clearly cared a lot for all of them. It wasn't much of a choice really, now was it? And so, she'd enter the tunnel too, wanting to get hold of Elef, and try to convince him again, that they should go home. Her heart skipped a beat when the small collapse happened behind her, but it thankfully didn't seem as bad. It looked like... Well, not a lot at first, but once she adjusted to the darkness, it didn't look like it had covered a lot, so she'd still be able to get out if it were, probably. She considered digging a hole, so she'd have some light, but it seemed like there were some odd, glowing moss further in, so she'd try to follow that instead. Though she did wish she had like a large pin needle, that she could stick in the former entrance, to mark it with. But she didn't, and her dress were back with Crow. She really should have brought some water along though, but... In her defense, she didn't think all of this would happen. Best to find Elef and get out of here. Maybe there were an oasis or something on the way, yeah? Or a fountain in the large town. Going on, she'd eventually find that some sort of weird thought got into her head. Though why in the world that would come in there, she didn't know. She didn't tend to be morbid, and Elef surely hadn't killed her, by coming out here. She were just a little thirsty. Nothing major. Moving closer, more thoughts came, along with a feelin. A bad one, like Elef had done something horrible. This was... Okay, she couldn't explain it. Was there something in the air around here, that were messing with her head? Even more of a reason to get away if that were. "Elef! Come on, please. Mrs. Void is gonna be super worried about you, just like the others have to. And... And this place is weird. I think it's making my brain think funny. ...Elef Are you okay?" Her tone got more worried, as she'd step closer. She were still quite a bit of distance from him, so things could happen, though she hoped it wouldn't be more bad thoughts. Elef were her friend, not some sorta monster, and now he were sitting and crying. He needed her. ===================================================================== (Void) It were reassuring to hear that it wouldn't be that much longer, but at the same time, a few hours could make a lot of difference. She knew from experience, and as such, it didn't help alleviate her worries as much as she had hoped her, despite the peaceful appearance, of the oddly ivory-colored changeling. "Thank you. I just hope they'll be safe for that long..." Hopefully Elef wouldn't have ditched his pack of food and water, that she had given him, just like the others, so they'd have something to nourish themselves with. The water mattered the most, but the protein bars should be plenty, in case they ran out of energy after their flight too. So it shouldn't be starvation or thirst that got them. Predators on the other hoof... She'd let out a raggedy sigh, and turn around again, as she wandered back and forth, now addressing Llambda. "I hope that they're safe, and I'd wish that I could trust that karma would keep a hoof over them, but... I've seen a lot of bad things, happen to good beings. Including children. I don't doubt that Karma means well, but the world is a harsh place, if you're not prepared for it, and neither of them are. They don't even have any weapon with them. What if something came after them and... N-No, I can't think like that. We'll get them back. We have to..." While it wasn't at the forefront of her mind right now, Void were as worried for them, as she were every time her sister used to be out of her sight, or got into a dangerous situation once more. Though it hadn't been long, she really had connected closely with each and every one of them. As for Crow, she nodded in response if told something, but would otherwise just follow beneath the ship, where she could keep a closer eye on things, than those on deck probably could. If there were any sign of either Elef or Cherish, she'd likely find it. ================================================================================= (Null) She hadn't talked of it before, but Arcade were awake now, and due to what might happen, she had to tell him now. And so she would, before they could get on their way. There were not much to the story either. Elef had killed Rare, not wanting to, but having done so in seemingly a pure accident, and she had kept his secret, because she had wanted him to have a chance at a life, rather than being struck down or ostracized for what he were. And overall it had worked, with him having a safety net, but that had seemingly failed for some reason, so now he were distraught, back where he came from, with another filly there. "-And that's the long and short of it. I promised him I wouldn't go tell, and I wouldn't if it hadn't turned out like this, but you have to know, in case things look bad when we show up. If you got something to say about it, then do it, but be fast. We'll need to leave soon as we can, just in case things go haywire." It was something she had not brought up, but they had been talking about her, and her life and issues too, not this. This had been between her, and Elef. And sadly, things had changed now to where it weren't the case anymore. ==================================================================================== (Ranger) "You didn't scare me off with that the first time you said it, and it won't work now. Besides, if there's monsters, you'll need all the help you can get. Might be I didn't get much guard practice, but I know my magic, and how to use it. It'll come in handy, trust me. Now come on, let's enjoy a good meal before we throw ourselves into it." He'd grin at her, then resume chowing down through his food. Especially the eggs, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Reminded him almost of the first time he had the chance to eat some, after he got out of that cave system finally, and got into New Las Pegasus. Sure this were delicious eggs, and that had been scraps he had dug out from the trash, but after a few years of bugs and cave plants, it had been heavenly, and he had munched down as gleeful as any raccoon, tail wagging out of the dumpster he'd been diving into. He'd been done eating a little after she were, and had caught up to Ranger, before she left the casino. He'd had the foresight to snatch a couple bottles of water, and some string he saw dangling from one of the food carts on his way though, and as they wandered out, he'd tie the top of the bottles together, and sling them over his back. It wasn't the most elegant looking thing, but unless Ranger had a better idea, it were water, and they didn't know how long they'd be outside of town for. It were just good, common sense, yeah? Speck would begin to wake up proper, once they reached their destination, though it remained on Ranger's back. It just stretched, yawned soundlessly, and looked around, waiting to see where they'd be headed to. It recalled hearing something about monsters while it napped. Might be it had to be quick to cover Ranger. Kozue could handle himself. He'd be fine. As for the number pad, Kozue shrugged. He didn't know about these sorts of things, and just waited to see if it would work, or they had to do something to this door too. Luckily, it opened after the second try, so they wouldn't have to sit around and deal with yet another annoying barrier. Not yet anyway. The back of the door were not a pleasant sight though. Combined with the smell and look of dried blood, it gave off the impression that someone had tried to get out of here, and they hadn't been successful. How very... Comforting. Almost as comforting as the remains of some of those who had tried to escape, in quite the state Made his nose wriggle with the pungent smell, but he'd live, and just held his breath as he wandered forward, and in quick motions jumped over and around the bodies, avoiding getting any corpse juice on his paws, as he got over to Ranger. "Made it this far, why stop now? Thinking it's better if I shroud us right off the bat, just in case?" If she said yes, he'd twirl his paw, and they'd all three become essentially invisible, to others than themselves. If something had exceptional smell or senses though, it'd still be able to see them. Sure he did well in hiding their presence, but some creatures were just so fine tuned to sensing anything at all, that they'd still be able to know there were someone there, lest you were dealing with a Kitsune who had gotten through their full education, and he hadn't. But hopefully what he did, would suffice. If not, they'd need to rely on some guile, strength, and trickery. ======================================================================= (Grey) While he didn't like it, he would acknowledge that some degree of anti-magic were needed to have on hoof, just in case. Especially after Yannit had given him a rundown of various things that could happen, in case they went in and were too lenient, and thus unprepared. A knife coated in the stuff seemed the most wise option, though considering what Red were, it couldn't be something that well shown. So if the Grey had it, they'd see if they could find a dagger, of the sort one could usually hide in your boot or sleeve. If not, they'd request the funds for one to be coated. She had some herself to make use of, though after they'd have it, she would be certain to pack it in sufficient covering, to avoid impacting herself with it, then hide it on her person. Craven argued that as leader of the mission, it were up to him to hold this, but she'd deny that, saying that she had two advantages over him. One being the fact that as her cover were that of a blacksmith, if the dagger were found on her, she could talk her way out of it. The second being that he were too good-hearted, and thus if it came to it, he would hesitate. The second being an argument that he'd acknowledge were a possibility. Especially if Red tried playing remorseful at the end. This were a dangerous changeling they were dealing with, and if push came to shove, they had to handle that. Ideally though, they'd just be able to get her somewhere private, and then use some sleep powder on her, to make her conk out for a few hours. He'd get some of that from another changeling, called Round Houser, that he knew from the hive. The poor fellah had some... Less than easy days, and needed an aid to get some peaceful rest now and again. He did however, also owe Craven a few favors, so he'd manage to get a small bag of the power he used, and promised that if any remained, he'd bring it back. Might be something that'd be good to have in stock at The Grey later on honestly. He'd have to speak to Phantasma about that, when they were done. Could be that The Grey would be willing to give her some lenience regarding the controlled substances she made, in exchange for also making some concoctions for them. Bling had seen the logic in that. Hopefully they would too, as it could be beneficial. When all were said and done though, they'd be on their way. They had been given a location to go by, from up above, so heading that way, seemed as good an option as any.
  7. @Illiad Easle (Cherish) Oooh, shoot. It hadn't been before he suddenly dropped off, causing Cherish to have to turn around, as she wasn't as quick on the uptake there as Elef had been, that she noticed that apparently, they had flown for quite some way. None of what she saw right now were familiar, and that told her that they had probably flown for quite some time, in a direction going away from Troy. Her mom wasn't gonna be happy about this... *sigh* Well, she were too deep in now, and she wasn't just gonna abandon Elef here, at whatever the place were he had finally flown down to. She'd just have to ask forgiveness later, and hope her mom could understand why she had followed him. Poor Crow had to be panicky too... She really should have said something, before taking off. She just got so worried, seeing what had happened. Hopefully she could make it up to everyone, once she got hold of Elef, and came home with him. Least she wouldn't have to worry about them being lost in the desert Even if it got dark, they were near a city. Surely there'd be someone there that could help them, even if Elef was hurt. Though she hoped he wasn't. She wasn't that physically strong. "Eleeef! Please wait for meee!" ================================================================== (Void) "Null will help, I know it, but I'm still going on the airship, right after I make sure that you two are back home, and looked out for." Void would turn and look directly at Gemini and Teal. "I know you worry too, but I need you to stay safe at home, and look after your sisters, while we go and get Elef. He's close to you. I really do understand that, but it's harder for us to focus our search, if we have to watch out for you too, okay? Please, trust me with this. I will get him home." It were a lot harder for her to deal with issues, if she also had to make sure to keep Gemini and Teal safe from everything at the same time. It were going to be a lot easier, if they were back home and safe, while they went and dealt with this. She'd listen if they had input, but when everything were said and done between them, she'd make sure to drag them into a hug, one on each side, while looking up towards Llambda. "I hope Vale can look out for them, but in case she can't, I'd appreciate your help, just until I get back." She'd welcome Llambda to join her in the chase too, of course, but she had to be sure that her kids had someone to look out for them first. She refused to leave the younglings all by themselves. Though hopefully Vale could look out for them. As for Crow, she shook her head, at the offering to join the airship. "N-No airship. Dangerous. Don't want. Just... Show me, p-please. I fly then." She were not a fan of the idea, being in an enclosed space, with armed guards in many places. It were better for her to fly. That way she could also look down, to see if they had maybe stopped on the way there. Regarding said airship, Void would bring a small saddlebag, with some water and a med kit, that she tended to keep packed, just in case, along with the hammer she had been gifted at the door. She hadn't much use of it recently, beyond some training, but she had been given it, and would use it as needed. This were as good at time as any to stay strapped, and be ready for anything. ==================================================================== (Grey) "I just hope it leads to the least amount of casualties." Craven slightly nodded at that. "I'll keep that in mind, thank you." Probably best to bring a pouch just to be safe, but it wouldn't have to be special or anything, so that would save some time. Also, folks tended to notice when you wandered around with a hex box. A leather pouch though, could be hidden under clothes, and be used for many things. If he could turn pale, he would have done so, when Red were mentioned. Red wasn't talked about a lot, that was for sure. One of those they tried to not bring up, as it had been a bad time for both changelings and others alike when she had been there. But he had been one of those that sadly met her. Not from the start mind you, but he had the misfortune of running into her once, a few weeks before she were told to leave the protection of the group, A very rare ruling by Bling and her siblings, but Red had been problematic, and unwilling to get help to reel herself in, so Bling had no choice. It were either casting Red out, or have the entire hive, and those they helped, get into trouble, for holding their hooves over a violent criminal, and she couldn't do that to everyone. He knew she had still done so with a heavy heart though, and had prayed that wherever she had gone, she'd get some help, and live a happier life. She always felt hurt, when she couldn't help the changelings in town that needed it. Which to her, were basically most of them. As for his own encounter, he had been in town just a short while, and accidentally stumbled in on one of her uhm... Aftermaths. Considering the sight, and what he were told of her after, to warn him to not cross paths with her again, he were amazed that he hadn't gotten his head cracked open there. Though she still spooked him, even just when he saw her. She were a uhm... Very frightening presence. He'd helped the victim get out and patched up, then assisted in watching over him for a while, as he got better. Been his introduction into the hive proper. Not he best way, but at least he hadn't had to bury someone again. And now he had to deal with her once more. *gulp* This were not good. Especially not if she remembered him, and could sense him out. Hopefully she couldn't, but it were a concern. And a fair one, he'd argue. She were likely to rip his limbs off, one by one, if she found he were trying to meddle with her affairs. "I... Will keep that in mind. I... Oh gods, this just gets worse and worse. Why did it have to be Red, of all changelings... Hopefully I can just incapacitate her. I know some things that works on changelings specifically. Just have to be careful with it, and it should go somewhat okay. But a-anyway, thank you for the information, sir. I'll go and make preparations. Hopefully I'll see you again soon." He hooped that The Grey had some insight back, because otherwise, he had to go and look for essentially some magic disruption. A few tools like that made over the years, to knock out a changeling instantly, by messing with their magic. Also some that's disrupt it to the point of instantly killing them, but he'd prefer it didn't get to that, as seeing their leader killed, could cause a riot. Even if it were Red, and she likely deserved it. Yannit would likely agree it were best to kill her, once she heard who it were. She had heard some snippets here and there. Enough to make her sure Red were nothing but bad news, and could cause issues, even if she were in chains. But having that option as a last resort, were probably wise too. There were of course also the worst option, but he sincerely hoped that no one were in possession of that particular toxin here in New Las Pegasus, or in general. He'd never seen it, but the infamous toxin from Neighpon, developed specifically against changelings, were horrifying enough to be well known, in the right circles. Essentially a fungus, it were administered via needles, or chugged into the mouth of the changeling in question, and while normal bodies would simply digest the weird concoction, it would fester quickly in changelings, covering their insides, and draining every ounce of emotion they had in them, and any they would consume. It essentially starved them to death rapidly, over a period of 3-5 hours, if you didn't get the antidote, and could be spread via bites or bile from infected changelings. It were generally considered a war crime among changelings to use it upon them, as it could eradicate entire hives if it were deployed properly. Though thankfully, the one who had invented it, were in kind actually imprisoned, once the next leader of Neighpon had come to power, who despised the concoction, and the toxin were officially destroyed in its entirety, around 16 years ago. Didn't mean there weren't still some lingering fear, that it were available somewhere, and ready to be used though. Or that paperwork had survived. Though he truly hoped it were but a forgotten part of history, and would never reemerge. ============================================================================ **Next day.** (Cherish) Cherish would land and fold her wings in, when she saw him dig on the ground, and approach him without hesitation. "Elef! I was so worried about you, are you hurt?" When he responded, she stop up, around a meter away from him, one hoof risen up and ready to set down again. It were a response that had caused her pause, as it were rather confusing to her. "I had to follow you, Elef! I was so worried when you got attacked and took off. Please, stop digging, and let's go home, okay? I bet everyone's super worried about us." She'd put her hoof down, and slowly walk closer. Not an ounce of fear in her eyes, but simply concern, over what were up with Elef. Why were he being weird, and trying to dig out a hole? Was he trying to go underground to run away from her? ============================================================= (Null) Null were not morning happy, but despite wanting to be miffed and let out a retort in the vein of *Shut it, and let me sleep*, the message instead got her groggy mind to wake up more, and rub her eyes free of sleep. If Arcade were here, she'd shake him, and tell him they had to get up, otherwise, she'd respond to Nine first, and then go to where her coltfriend were sleeping, and stir him from his rest. "Elef took off? And he brought another kid? Awh bugger. I'll get right on it." She didn't hope that he would snack on that pegasus, but she had seen him do this by accident before, and it could end up happening again. She had to go get him fast, and drag him back here, were she could keep a better eye on him, until she assumed Void would come for him. She couldn't imagine one of her kids took off, and her sister wouldn't go and fetch him herself. Hopefully she'd be able to present a colt flustering and ready for a scolding, and not a corpse, or someone with young blood around their muzzle. =============================================================== (Ranger) Morning brunch were being set up, so about half were there. It'd be possible to go in and eat, but the selection would just be a little limited for the next 15-25 minutes or so. She'd find though, that Kozue were already there. He tended to wake up early and get to the buffet before most others, so that he could eat in peace, and go back to clean his musical instrument before getting on with a nap, and then the day proper. Though as he had to go out and be active today, he had a bit more on his plate, along with a big glass of herbal tea, so he had some energy to work with. Honestly, the most lazy of them would be Speck, who had jumped up on Ranger's back, and then laid down to take another nap. It'd be up and causing trouble later, more than likely. Kozue gnawed down some veggie bacon and scrambled eggs when he saw Ranger, and rose a paw in greeting. "Oh hey, good morning! I figured it'd be at least a few more hours before you woke up. Come right in. Plenty of room this time of the morning." ============================================================ (Void) Crow had flown off, once she had been shown where to go, but they would manage to catch up to her. She had gotten lost once, and it took her a bit of time to backtrack, though at least she still had some of her snack crystal left, that she had been gnawing on for comfort food as she were on her way. She'd be around 2/3'ths of the way, when she saw the air ship, and with some trepidation, would fly up towards it, though she elected to follow it, rather than board, lest she were told to. She'd already gotten lost once, and might again, if she didn't follow them, unfortunately. She didn't like having to rely on others like this, but she'd do most anything for Cherish. Sadly she weren't as good at following a map as she had thought. Or her panic had impacted her. Either way, it wasn't good, and she truly worried constantly about Cherish, and how she were doing out here, so far from Troy. She could get seriously hurt, and not be found for years, if ever, out here in the desert. As for Void, she were nervous too, constantly checking her equipment, and making sure her leg were attached proper, even though the several dozen others check, showed her that everything were perfectly fine. But she too were worried, for Elef and Cherish alike. If Llambda were with her, she'd talk to her, even if she wasn't looking directly at her, just as they were being approached from the down-ward left of the ship by Crow. "We have to be there soon, right? Oh, I hope Null already have them... The desert is too dangerous for two young ponies to fly around in all by themselves."
  8. @EQ_Theta "...It is hard, to think about the future. I try sometimes, but there is many things that can change, and not like when Master Discord was in control. Things change slower, but it is more permanent. Confusing, but supposed to be understood... How can you be prepared for the future, when it keeps changing? Maybe I will understand some day. For now, I think I will try and think of what we have to do with the elders, so I do not forget something important. There are many things you have all told me there, that sounds important to not forget. So many more happening, that I have to save room for too." Things happened so rapidly, that she barely had time to think over things anymore. Last night had helped some, but there were still much, and more would inevitably come, soon as they headed towards the elders, and then also when they actually got there. Even if the meeting went badly, she had to remember the things they were told there, as they would be important, yes? And her friends needed her to be present for the ordeal. It would not be good if she shut down, because she were overburdened. And to think, a few months past, she would have never thought of this, or anything like it. Sen, Lin, Rosa and others, had already done much to learn her about things. Even if there were still much left, it were more than even her master had given her, about how the world truly worked, for all the years she followed his commands. The squid-like creature would wave back with the end of one of his tentacles too, before leaving fully. He had much to ponder, about the existence of several different worlds, the meeting he had with one such world's denizens, and the nature of his new servants home world. Things worth study and keeping for posterity, in several shells, but before that, he would need to focus on his new servant. Teach her how to swim, how to commune, and the various other things, needed to simply be, in this new home of hers. It would also be prudent to teach her this spell to keep the water in, in case she were to wander worlds, as to not empty their oceans into that of her mother. It would benefit neither of them. The time would perhaps allow him to prepare more for another meeting with the dry creatures, and perhaps ask his new servant some questions, about the potential for cross-dimensional travel. He got the gist that they themselves were bound to be only of their own realm, and that of their masters, but what of said masters, or any other that they gave passage to? Now that was a subject worth studying for potential future implementations. "Many good masters are chosen recently. Maybe more will not have to wait for so long then." Omen would look towards a particular set of eyes, laid on shadow, that neared to gaze at the water left behind. Six eyes like a feline, in three different sizes. No name, just like any of the unformed, but they all knew this one were the oldest among them. The one that were here, more than any other remaining unformed. Perhaps with how many masters were chosen these days, they too would find a home? it had been very, very long since the last oldest one had been picked. As for Mother, she did not arrive, but a cold wind did come, carrying her breath on it, caressing their ears as her words reached them. "Wander proudly home, and rest your weary mind, my children. You will need your strength for the tasks ahead. Please let me know how it went, next you return." Though it held no actual power, she truly wished them the best, as they prepared to leave. They had a most arduous task ahead of them, that she did not envy, but she had faith that they would prevail. Dealing with her daughter's new sibling showed well how they adapted to new situations at the least. Hopefully their elders were at the least half as amicable as he had been. Naught else would come from her, and Omen would follow quietly back home, to whatever awaited them. Rest perhaps? Or more hunters. Who could really tell? ======================================================= @EQ_Theta Celestia smirked a little, hearing the argument at the end, towards the concept of perhaps finding complacency, rather than continue to learn. "I believe you and my dear student Twilight, would get along well, Videntor. You have much the same view upon knowledge, and the need to expand your knowledge, regardless if you find the answer you first sought. Perhaps a jaunt to Ponyville some day, would be an enlightening experience for you." Ever an inquisitive one that mare, but it had gotten her far, and Celestia were confident that it would lead her to ushering in a new, enlightened age someday in the future. Perhaps a meeting with an ancient creature possessing a golem, would further expand both of their mindsets, and work towards that? Hard to say, though she knew for certain that Twilight would be interested in meeting them. It were a unique opportunity to meet beings of a long-extinct race, possessing knowledge that had long since faded and been forgotten. It were practically a dream come true for her delightful little bookworm. "From what I know of golems, their creation takes a lot of magic, rituals, and discipline. I would be surprised, if they had no knowledge of how to do so, nor had made some themselves. Still, if you ever do meet some, even if they do not face you with hostility, do keep your wits at hoof, and speak to them with the same respect, that you would given to you. They are infamous tricksters, but they are not without reason, nor hospitality. Though, I wouldn't waste my time going to Neighpon and chasing after them. Their government have tried for generations, for various reasons, of which not all of them are good, and they have all come up short. You will have better luck finding one that roams than their mainland settlements." She would not speak of it, but during her occasional talks with Neighpon over the centuries, she had been asked if she knew of a way to find them, or perhaps could find one. While she felt like they were likely to be able to handle that, if able minds were set upon it, such as the former scientists of Center Zero, her interest in helping them in this matter had long been tempered, by the shifting reason behind it, as while some wanted simply to be able to find and speak with the kitsune to set some good terms between them, others had a long standing want to eradicate them, due to old grudges, or religious beliefs, and with how the leader might change abruptly into the latter, giving them a tool like this, if they were able to make it, could amount to her partaking in genocide. Her hooves were not clean, but she had limits, even if it would give her more political sway with Neighpon, while the kitsune and them never had any official one, beyond the unspoken rule of *Live and let live*. Truthfully, she hadn't a clue how them meeting any kitsune might go, but she wished them the best of luck when the time came. Had she known of the exchange student program happening now in Ponyville, she might have directed them there for that too, as two kits were currently attending the School of Friendship, but due to Twilight being a princess in her own right, ad Ponyville being her domain as it were, she had handled such things herself. She were going to speak to the princess of it eventually, but much had happened since then, so it had taken a backset for now. Celestia bowed her head in turn, smiling a little more warmly, after the shadowy griffon had diminished it so before. "Til we meet again, I wish you all the best." And with that, she would be on her way properly, and the changelings would return to doing what they did, which included gossip between one another, and ordering more drinks, which left the owner a little busy right now. Not to worry though, as they sought to move on, and Scarcity were ready for that to happen too. Though Wig would give them an enthusiastic wave and a big ol' grin, before going back to filling cups. Hopefully they'd come back someday, and try more tastes. She were always happy to have more non-changeling customers, to branch out a bit more. "I were just going to propose that myself. Shall we?" She'd give a respectful nod towards Wig, but as she seemed busy, she didn't chose to disturb her. One should respect a worker, and try not to unduly interrupt, lest there were reason for it. Leading them in a specific direction, she would regale them with a few titbits here and there on the places they assed. A fair few tailors in this town, they might find, but she assured them that they each had mostly their own clientele, though she did highly endorse one particular one, as they offered not only a proper dress and fitting, but a complimentary mane and beard styling too. A couple that owned it, that had understood the value in having a place were one could walk in a mess from the street, and come out looking like a shining star. Lovely ponies too, she'd add. As the crowds thinned out, they would eventually get to a part of Canterlot that looked a fair bit less modern. Less glamour and more practicality. Houses that seemed out of place in this day and age, with less shops around, and the locals seemed to mostly keep to themselves, and their own friends. At least less looks were send their way, and barring a few nods, no one really commented on their presence, and just went about their own business. There were still obvious tourists wandering about, some of them chewing on snacks, but they were obvious tourists, as they stuck out a lot in behavior, and generally looked and pointed various places, engrossed in the scenic, rustic trip through this place. "Welcome all, to Canterlot's Old Town. A lovely quaint part of an otherwise evolving city. Lest you think it dead, I assure you that Old Town is still fairly alive, but most work are in the main city, and those here, are often those who prefer the quiet, or have other reasons not to speak with others. And then there are places such as this." She would point towards a shop, that were covered in layers of plastic. Underneath were what looked like an old timey butcher shop, which considering the sign above it saying *Double Chow's Meat & Pet Food*, were fairly accurate. "Belongs to an old friend of mine. One of the rare equine butchers we have, and thus are necessitated to work away from the main town, as it is a frowned upon profession. You will find the fish market in this area for the same reason, further along. As for the plastic, he's having the shop fumigated. One have to adhere to certain standards, when handling food of any kind. As for the general look, this part of Canterlot is the oldest, and it have been seen as important to our history, that it is kept as it were, so any renovations and such, have to be made with that in mind. As it means it can't be as flashy as the main street, it does cause it to be less bustling, but as mentioned, it allows space for those who prefer more quiet, for instance. Ah, here we are." As she had talked, their trip had gotten them to a stone house, that looked like it were among the oldest of the bunch, although not worn down. It appeared to have been renovated with said old look in mind, and as she knocked, the door would open, and show that Brick stood in there, silently gazing upon them all, before moving aside. Inside were a perfectly clean home. A kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room, a basement, a study, and a fireplace. Several more rooms, a large bathroom, and closets for other uses too, past the hallways, all looking fairly rustic, but perfectly functional. "And now that we have more privacy, let me speak more plainly of a few things. The shadowy figure that ended our meeting? They are one of the recruits, that works for Shade Stealer. The Night Guard's special ops leader. Essentially the one who does their dirty work, to put it in simpler terms. He's widely disliked, due to his usage of necromancy, and his workers never speak. Most think it part of their duty, but I know it to be because they are not able. The role of being a Shadow Hunter, is offered as an alternative to long prison sentences for certain criminals with potential, in secret of course. If they accept, their souls are torn out, and embedded into what amounts to puppets clad in shadow, run by necromancy, while their bodies are kept alive and comatose. You then serve out a lesser sentence as part of their group, and have your mind clearer of your time there, upon your exit from it. Celestia is one of the few that knows the full truth, and she absolutely loathe Shade Stealer, and have openly ordered that he and his puppets are not to approach her, unless there is no alternative. Interesting stallion really, but very dutybound, and loyal beyond measure to General Screecher. As for this home, it is among the oldest and largest that Old Town had, and are one of several dozens I have purchased over time, and keep renovated and clean, in case I need to have housing on offer. Old Town offer more privacy, and have lower property value, due to less general demand, so it is a great place for me to house certain associates, such as yourselves. I think you will find this place adequate as your rendezvous point. The basement also have a few secret compartments that you can hide things in, in case you worry about theft, or noisy guards. I assure you everything is in perfect working order, though lacking somewhat in homely charm. Some personal decorating from your part, should handle that rather easily, I would say. Now before I continue on with more, have you any questions, or responses? We can speak freely in here, so worry not." ====================================================================== @Catpone Cerberus A small frown furrowed her brow as she heard that question, though she'd answer it. Was a fair one, and the answer wouldn't reveal anything forbidden. Though really, she barely knew anything that were so forbidden, that she cared to keep it a secret. She could count those on one paw, and she doubted the conversation would go anywhere near those topics. "Yeah, there's creatures of pure order alright, and if you're lucky, they're never gonna get back to this reality. Those freaks are better kept in their own world, wherever they ended up. They're why the draoncequui kingdom broke up, I've been told. Was before my time, but apparently there were so much chaos from all the draconequui gathered up, ruling over a sorta huge continent, that the universe or something spat out beings of pure order to balance things. Big war, not great, and in the end, they got banished, and the kingdom broke up. Sometime during it, the continent got broken up too. Might've been because of the war, or a further way to make sure we wouldn't go gathering in huge numbers again. Either way, we all know the warning, that the old draconequui gives us: Don't go too far, or pure order's gonna come back. And you don't want those things, because you know what the first thing those folks do is? They'll destroy your free will. Free will and choices are chaotic. Only way to have anyone being pure in order, is to have them lil' more than a living machine, taking orders. There's stuff like the Elements of Harmony, and various other stuff that balances things out these days, so ain't a worry, long as we don't try to stack up another kingdom. That's the rule. Or the old folks are running a prank that's lasted over a hundred thousand years, and they're laughing behind our backs. Honestly, I wouldn't put it past 'em." Ancient history meant that only the oldest could remember. Not a lot of those around anymore, but she wouldn't put it past them to tell them false tales, because they thought it was funny. Draconequui had some odd humor. To her credit, Glutton would actually listen to the whole thing, occasionally taking a bite out of a tree she'd yoink, or crunch of a boulder, etc. She didn't go for live or dead prey though right now, only inanimate things. She could go for those, but she didn't feel like it right now. Better with an oak, treetop dipped in the river, then rolled in old leaves and dirt. Aaah, that sorta thing hit the spot during a good story. She'd have just finished drinking the color off of a hanging willow branch, when Asildae finished. "Well ain't that something. Not often you see a hivemind anymore., Most of those I've known, either evolved out of it, or went extinct, once folks sorted out they could handle the problem, by cutting the head off the viper. Sounds alright though. Kinda like the changelings, but more ant-like." The tone of her voice and look on her face, should show that Glutton considered the species an interesting sort. She wasn't as big a fan of it as the fluffballs, but she were biased there too, so that weren't exactly a fair comparison. For normally evolving species? Yeah, she were a fan of the concept. Hiveminds, warring queens, brutal acquisition of power- They had it all, from the sounds of things. Only thing she wasn't a fan of, were the anti-magic properties they had, but nothing could be perfect now, could it? A shame really, as a nice, crunchy outer shell, with a gooey inside, seemed rather tasty, in these proportions. "I'll say you have some good grounds for wiping that stain out of your hive too. Might be family, but some brat that ain't playing the game fair, don't got no right to nick your throne. I mean, cheating's all fine and good, but this isn't even done in a fun way. What's the point?" The city vaguely got in sight in the distance, and above them, a massive shadow passed high above. If they looked up, they'd see a large dragon, with some smaller dragons flying nearby her, likely for protection. She appeared to be wearing... Giant, knitted socks, with room for her claws to exit, and a pair of glasses. Not something you saw everyday, but she were headed towards town all the same as them, yet seemed to pay them no heed, and if they did nothing to get her attention, she would simply continue as such, headed towards the giant city that neared in the distance. Though there were still some way left. They'd been fairly deep into the forest. Just a few of the taller buildings poking over the holes in the treetops here and there. =========================================================================== @Catpone Cerberus "Hmm... Several souls? Fascinating... Never were much in the way of research into how many souls were possible to maintain in the same body. Rather unethical stuff to put into practice, of course, and interest wane fast for scientists, when all they can do is speculate, or going by second-hoof accounts. Though it were speculated that a legion of them, - if possible - would present an unprecedented amount of ethereal energy. Still, I suppose I am merely running on conjecture. Something beyond just a gathering of souls sounds like they're about to cause great ruckus, and against two strengthened alicorns, it has to be something quite notable. Something you seem to have an inkling about, Mr. Vaz. Your body is a vessel, notable by more than simply longevity, I take it? Or have the potential to be so, at the least." Vaz were an ever expanding enigma at this point. One who with every layer, got more intriguing. What more were he hiding? What secrets were he the steward of, and what might it mean for their world, if something like this were to pass here, as it were in Solar's world? The battle between an immovable object, and an unstoppable force, were bound to be a catastrophic event, of historical proportions, and they hadn't the same degree of staunch militarism here. If a similar thing happened with Vaz here, things could end up quite problematic. Yet he he had wits around him, and didn't seem enamored with this alternative for himself, so she wouldn't currently think that he were headed down this path. It were more that it were an option he were aware of too, as he seemed to know what were happening, which introduced more secrecy. Hidden information that the researcher in her, wanted to pry more into, but now were neither the time, nor the place, to drill him about this. But oh how she longed to know more, and understand what he had done, and could do. "And SOlar, sir? If she were indeed predating the conflict, does that mean that this signal went off for a while, or are there also temporal interferences, when it comes to things and beings transporting over from your world? It could make things more troubling, if we end up with evidence from a non-linear timeline. We could suddenly be a year ahead, and a crazed alicorn, from mere hours into the conflict, wanders fully powered through to Equestria. Or we could run into long desiccated corpses within hours. Might I also add, if heat is required for a power source, would there be something to gain by reheating them? I can assist in that matter, if you think it will work." She didn't have to melt things. She could control her fire levels well enough, to where she could heat this up, to something similar to where they came from, without causing damage. Of course, she would need permission, as it wasn't like she wanted to accidentally cause issues. It were by far the best to offer the option, and then see what he wanted to do with that. He were both her boss, and the one most knowledgeable about these things. His input outvalued her own substantially on these matters. ==================================================================== @Catpone Cerberus "I dunno. But I'd guess it either means she's one of the top predators, or that she gave birth to one who're bound to be. Could also be a cultural thing, and a title that has some meaning beyond just the surface level. Truth is, I wish I knew. Maybe if I did, I could be more of a help to you and her here, instead of the burden I've been so far. *sigh* Sorry, sorry. This ain't about me. It's about Ruby. And your mother. From the sounds of it, she's notable for several things. Who she mated with, who her kids are..." Leviathan would turn and look directly at Charir. She had half the mind asking him about their mother, but seeing him in the face now, how worried he already were... She couldn't get herself to do it. A smile would just creep across her face instead, and her hand go over to clap his right cheek kindly, before scratching under his chin. "But we can't sit here and worry all day, right? I figure, the way I see it, we have two options: We either go out and mingle, to get to know your smarter kin better, or we go search for answers. Wat do you think, hun?"
  9. @Illiad Easle (Cherish) It'd take time, but she would gain on him, and would try to call out, yet no response came back. Even after a dozen times, he didn't even seem like he were listening. Maybe the wind were against them? But thestrals had really good ears. He should be able to hear her, which meant that he were ignoring her. Perhaps because he were injured, and couldn't think straight? Poor Elef. He must be so scared! If she kept going, and could go and get hold of him, she were sure that she could get through to him though. She just had to keep on, and they could both go home, and get him some help. Hopefully he wouldn't end up crashing before that... She couldn't tell the state he were in from this distance, but he could at the least fly, and stay stable, so it shouldn't be life threatening. The panic from suddenly being attacked by his classmate might have him spiked on adrenaline though, and it'd show more once he were still. Like he might have a broken leg or something. There would be a lot of questions about what happened back there. Later. She had to bring Elef home first. Poor thing must be feeling so scared. ================================================================= (Void) Once out of Crow's range, and close to her, Void would lean down and embrace her kids, holding them tightly. They'd find that she were shaking a little, letting through how frightened she had been when she heard something had happened out here, despite seeming mostly calm and collected before. The sight, and hearing them speaking so upfront to her, made Crow slowly put down her wings, and ease up from her stance, though she stayed put, assuming that she were still defending her friend. That were until Cherish were mentioned as having followed Elef, and her ears perked up. She'd then turn around, frantically looking for Cherish as she sped around in a circle, her heart rate and breathing speeding up substantially, as she'd then look around in the sky, wings prepared to take off, but having no idea which way to go. "C-Cherish?!" Crow were hyperventilating. eventually settling at looking towards the others, fear and panic shining in her eyes. Cherish was her only friend. The only one that she had left in this world, and now she were gone, towards who knew where, with a strange colt no less! S-She wasn't there to protect her. She had to... She had to find her! These ponies, they... They were going to look for her, and Elef. She had to... F-Following them were her only choice! She had to try and stick with them, for Cherish. Meanwhile, seeing this happen, over the shoulders of her younglings, she'd find herself worried for this dragon. She knew Cherish had said Crow were her friend, but it seemed without her, the dragoness were falling apart, and rapidly. Teal and Gemini clearly wasn't the only ones who needed the answer. "Yes, we're going to find them, and bring them home." Void were however, not planning on bringing her younglings, unless she were given reason to by the others. Null had talked about where she found them, and it were much too dangerous of a place for them to be in. They had others here to protect them now, but she for once, hadn't brought her weapon along, and it were still risky. *sigh* She really should have accepted that portable one that Molotov offered her, but she were so sure that she wouldn't need a concealed weapon like that... When this were all said and done, she were not going to refuse a second time. "Cherish means a lot to you, right? Then we could use your help, but you have to calm down, okay? We're not your enemies." Crow were not convinced of that currently, but throughout her fear, the thought of Cherish being gone, and potentially dying, were a fear far greater than that which she had for these, so she would have to if not trust them, then at least hope they could bring her to where Cherish were, so she could scoop up her friend and keep her safe herself. Crow were still spooked, and on edge, but she weren't going to attack any of them. At most, she might jump back at any sudden movements. As for what Llambda would be able to pull out, a chunk of Changeling Emerald would be just the thing. Despite its grandiose name, the particular gem were practically worthless. Not hard enough to use in tools, not pure enough for gems, and rather common to boot. It were however, still popular for two things: The first being as a toy, or decorative bauble, as the emerald in question would change color, based on the angle you were looking at it from. It made it something pretty and shiny that weren't too expensive or hard to come by, which certainly had an audience. The second one though, were due to dragons, as it were a popular snack, among those who traded or lived in areas, where the gem could be mined or sold. It weren't high in nutrition, compared to say a diamond, but the weird way it looked, were present in the taste too. They tended to describe it sort of like a piece of hard candy, with several layers of flavor. As for why it were called a Changeling Emerald, rather than say, a Rainbow Emerald, is because it were originally found in an old, abandoned changeling hive, as it were cleared out, and cleared up so there could be built houses in the area. More deposits were found since, not all at, or near any known hive, but it were generally suspected that the signs of a hive had just faded with time, and that this gem were a general byproduct in some way, from the presence of changelings, though there were no proof, and it might just be a coincidence, that others had spun out of control. For all that were known, certain changelings just liked making their hive in areas where this type of gem would form naturally. Be that as it may, Crow's ears perked a little as she saw that, and she hesitantly nearer, slowly reaching a slightly shaking hand out, and would gently grab the chunk of gem. Any movement from Llambda though, and she'd hesitate. Even this somewhat nicer presence, were not enough to simply snap her out of her apprehension towards being around so many strangers. Several of them armed as well. "T-Thank you." Void looked at her from the side with pity. Poor thing were like an abused animal. Terrified of others near her, and what they might do. Had she the time, she would perhaps ask what had befallen her, for things to end like this, but they hadn't the time. Not if they were to catch up to Elef and Cherish. And that beside, she doubted Crow would be very open about things, without Cherish there. The filly were probably the only real friend she had in years. ================================================================ (Ranger) Kozue would grin slightly at the thank you, with the tip of his tail wagging a bit from side to side. "Happy to help." It were honestly nice to be helpful, in more ways than just lifting spirits with his music. That were important too, but having a more tangible way of being useful like this? It felt good. Perhaps Ranger and what happened around her, were truly the sign that he had waited for, to know that it were time to move on, out into the world? The grin were well and truly gone as that bit of news came out, and he'd respectfully bow his head down. "May the souls of your friends rest soundly. I pray we will find a keepsake of them there, that will make you and yours, remember better times." There had not been a lot of them of course, but it were meant as in less of a focus on how they died, and more of how they lived. Their friends and family, that they had grown up with, yet sadly hadn't made it. Surely they wouldn't be so easily forgotten regardless, but he found that it were easier in the long run, when you had a keepsake. And in some cases, having a burial - even if only ceremonial in nature, due to a lack of a body - and being able to bury something that made you think of them, could help unburden a heavy heart. "Certainly. I'll have some matters to put in order too, at this point. The signs all point to a new dawn breaking, and with how much kindness Bling and her hive have shown me, I will not simple leave without a word, on on no notice. They deserve better. Rest well, Ranger, and may your dreams be soothing." With that, he'd take off back to the city too, jumping and running fast across the dunes. He might not have wings, but he had light paws and a nimble body, well suited for running away from trouble, or traversing through various underground. Some sand would at worst be annoying to clean from his paws later. Though she would be able to see him at times heading back, popping his head up over a dune, or behind a rock, then seemingly being gone., Likely camouflaging himself, but keeping an eye on her, just to let her know that in case something happened, she didn't have to call far for help. As for Speck... It seemed all the stuff of today had made it somewhat tired, as it imitated a yawn, then spread its wings and spend the trip back doing some simple flying, and this time without folding into a paper airplane. Just a bit of training as it were, where it did wobble a little bit here and there, but it didn't crash... Too much. In its defense, it had wings less than a day, and hadn't messed things up when it mattered. It were allowed a bit of leeway, in its opinion. ====================================================================== (Grey) Craven were silent, even after the Grey responded to him, for about twenty seconds, with his eyes closed. He were thinking over this whole situation, trying to see if there were something he missed, or some way that this wasn't gonna end up with him being a pawn in a situation that might turn further ugly than it already had, but frankly, there didn't seem to be anything. He were a tool for both The Grey, and Basher now, and regardless of who came up on top after this, it were probably still better than the potential outcome of what were gonna happen out there. *sigh* He really hoped that whatever came of this, he would actually be doing his to help far more than he hurt... He wanted to join The Grey to make amends for the lives he'd ruined. Ruining hundreds of other lives were not what he had signed up for. "They're accepting your deal, long as you keep your word. Personally I'm worried about something Discord made, especially considering what you said happened with the other ones, but a potential issue, is still better than guaranteed suffering. Least I hope so." Why did he feel like such a tool right now? ...Dumb question he supposed. "So... What do we do? What can you tell us about Moth, that might help us stop her? Ideally safely. I'd prefer it if we could avoid having to kill her, or causing lasting harm. And that goes for her, and your followers. Also, how safe is it to handle your boon? Do we need a hexbox, or special gloves or something?"
  10. @Illiad Easle Not on vacation, but a heat wave is scorching Denmark right now, and it's frying my brain. Sorry again for more delays. I'm tired of it being so myself too. Stupid weather...
  11. ((OOC http://mlpforums.com/topic/110032-casual-stroll-an-introductionary-roleplay-around-ponyville-open-for-all/#entry3092621)) The crisp morning air went through the town of Ponyville as the day began it's usual rhythm. Early rising ponys awakened and yawningly began on their day ahead of everypony else, preparing the shops and dutys that had to be done before the buzzing life began in the currently scarce town. The smell of baked goods and the far in between sound of hoofs slowly marching on the vacant ground began to mix in the air and give a sense of life awakening a little by little after yet another sleepy night passing by. For the inhabitants of the town it was a day like many others, but who was to say what the day would bring? Perhaps some things, or some ponys, would make this day stand out amongst the peaceful ones that had passed? Alas, the time was not for questions. The workers had their things to attend before the general populace would arise and little time to do it in, leaving the thought unsaid as they began their daily tasks and a low hum of activity started of the day.
  12. Update: As of today, November 3'th 2020, this thread is still open for anypony. I'll try to edit in monthly about this, but my memory is bad, so just be assured that unless anything else is written, I'm never gonna bar or abandon this thread. For anypony looking: This thread is never getting closed for new joiners, veteran, regular or fresh faces alike. If you want in, there is room for your OC. There is also room for those wishing to play the cannon characters such as the mane six, the princesses and so forth. Claimed cannons are: Twilight Sparkle. Played by @EQ_Theta. Fluttershy. Played by @EQ_Theta. To gain exclusive control of a canon character, contact me about it, and we'll take it from there. Take notice: This isn't a thread focused around my pony, it's meant as a place where anypony can start off, or join in for some fun. Consider it a newcomers intro cauldron into roleplay, with added spice of whoever else wants to come around. With that being said, on to the writing. Further notice: Even if it seems like everypony here have their own and it's impossible to join anything, don't be discouraged to join. If you want to interact with the current groups going at their random thing, just write yourself in and we'll take it from there. If you want to start your own angle, begin something, and in case you haven't gotten a response in about 24 hours, I will then make an NPC or see if some of my OC's are free and make sure you're not alone. TImelines: In case you prefer an evening setting or want to write with somepony as in *The next day* It is allowed, though not further than a day ahead of everypony else. The timelines can fit easy into each other if it's in a span of 24 hours. Less easy when we talk weeks apart or something like that. The thread link: http://mlpforums.com/topic/110191-casual-stroll/ Hello everypony. Been about 4 days since I've joined the forums now and everything here have been good so far. Except that I can't find a good place to start some role play, as the existing ones seem to be focused on very out there ideas that I, as a new member, can't really just jump into since I haven't even gotten a feel for the roleplaying aspect of my character yet. It made me think though, with all the other new people I've seen join over the last few days, perhaps I'm not the only one who could use a place to quietly ease into this? As such, I present an idear here that I hope that somepony - newcomers or not - would also think could be a good thing to join in on. A simple, no-focused thread going on around/in Ponyville that can let everypony have their say in things. There will be no directions for this, just a begining, and then we'll see where the plot will takes us. If you would like to join this, and/or if you might have an idear added, then go ahead and post it. After a few days I'll see if there's enough here to start something, and then make an open thread in the actual roleplay section if there's enough interest. My character Blitz Boom is living in the Everfree Forest, but she makes trips to Ponyville once in awhile, so any place around the town is basically a good place to start. As for rules, I only have a few. No graphic murder/overly strong violence: A fight or something may be fine enough, and a death can be acceptable if done right, but there's no need to make a casual thread into Friday the 13'th. No rushing/godmodding: No-one finds it fun when somepony just takes off with things without their consent. Give people a bit of time to breathe in between posts, and don't have them be dragged off by force unless it's been cleared with the person here in there OOC section. If you stop in the thread, let us know here, and write your character out in the IC part: I can't imagine anypony else wanting to wait around for someone that just upped and left without a word, so be respectful of others if you leave, okay? I can write you out in a small section if you have trouble doing so yourself, but a self-addressed solution is preferred. That's pretty much it. The rest is covered by the roleplaying rules (such as no explicit things etc) and other than that, I'd like to think I can trust you all to make the right decisions. Alicorns etc. is allowed, and everypony can decide for themselves afterwards if they want to take some of this as canon, but in case of alicorn join ups, consider it non-canon in general. ^^ If there's any questions or anything, feel free to pop it into this thread. I'll be checking with regularity. ((If you need some info on Blitz Boom, there is a link to her bios in my signature))
