"Maybe they think you went somewhere else, or all three of you died?" Oliver guessed. "Either way, we have some time to let you heal."

"Yeah, but if they knew where we were, they'd have sent another attack by now," Oliver pointed out. "We have some time to let you recover first."

"Yeah, and I'd like to go home before we start worrying about that," Oliver said. "The smells around here are just... wrong."

"We can worry about that after you're healed," Oliver said. "Try anything now and you might injure yourself even more."

"Well, no one's attacked us since then," Oliver pointed out. "Maybe they just got lucky and came across us?"

"Yeah, it could only be some kind of magic," Oliver said. "I dunno what else could make the sun do that."

"Well, you've proven you can fight back," Oliver pointed out, rubbing Jenna's snout.

"Nothing around here makes sense," Oliver sighed. "Maybe the darkness is some kind of magic? Maybe the portals are too?"

"Maybe the portal was made to help whoever lived here get away from the mold," Oliver suggested. "I know I'd want away from it."

"Well, there's bound to be other chances to get some information," Oliver said. "We'll just have to look closer next time."

"What about the dragons you fought?" Oliver suggested. "Maybe they'll have a clue on them or something?"

"Sounds like either we need to talk to your contact," Oliver said, considering everything Jenna told him, "or we have to find out ourselves."

"Well, obviously we'd have to find them first," Oliver said. "And even then, there has to be someone with enough power who doesn't agree with what they're doing."

"Yeah, that's true," Oliver said, nodding. "And with something feral, they won't trick you into thinking they're friendly then attack you from behind."
