Richmond, Virginia? Been there once to visit the confederate meuseum. In my opnion, it looks like I took a step back into the 80s lol.

You're right. The city grew a lot and started to decay after the 80s, so you won't see many new buildings outside of the west end. To be honest, I love the 80s aesthetic, much more than I do contemporary looks. The problem isn't that everything still has the 80s style going on, the problem is that nothing has been maintained properly. If broken things got replaced and filthy things got cleaned, it could keep that look for another 30 years.

But as it stands, Richmond gets more ghettofied by the day.
