  1. The first time I'd ever heard about the any Zelda games was from a friend who let me lend his copy of Minish Cap, and I thought it was alright, I liked the music, the adventure, the sense of playing as this hero in a world full of monsters and saving a kingdom. So naturally, I looked into other games from the series, the new one out at the time was Wind Waker (spoiler, my favourite game of all time to this day) Being on a home console to play on a TV instead of a small screen was a step up from the start, but my god

The music, even more beautiful than I could've imagined. The world, huge with tons of stuff to do. The art style was amazing to me back in those days, and most importantly, I was at an age were I still had child-like wonderment, but was also starting to be semi-decent at games with a little challenge. For me, it was a combination of both the game, and the timing. Who knows, if I hadnt been introduced to the series when I was, I might not be in love with the Zelda games as much as I am now, and I honestly cannot thank my friend enough for that

  2. The only book I've ever read from start to finish is The Count Of Monte Cristo, and from what people have said it's one of the best there is (And I'd agree.) The only scary thing about it is how scarily long it is, something like 1200 pages I think?

  3. So in the fan clubs I've seen a fair amount of not clop / anything strictly sexual, but rather suggestive art. I don't really mind when it happens to show up, but each time is does show up it's a little surprising. Say if you're scrolling through the Fluttershy fan-club, and people are posting all this wonderful fanart, when suddenly, you see her on her back with the 'bedroom eyes' and such, does it put you off? I think it's a weird juxtaposition but nothing more myself

Again, I really dont mind, but what are your thoughts?

  4. (If someone didnt have an accent wouldn't they techically not have a voice at all?) I've lived in England all my life and Liverpool most of my life and picked up the accent since I've been here, but every so often I'll slip into a western accent with certain words since that's where I grew up, same goes for my dad. Such an odd combination

  5. I can't stand it when the stereotypical smart character is explaining something to an 'average' character using over-the-top scientific words and phrases and expects them to understand, then there's a pause of awkwardness, usually followed by a sigh, and explained again in like 5 words that are easy to understand. It's filler were there doesnt need to be filler and is stupidly overused, despite not being funny the first time. Die Hard 4 is a great example of this, but I hate that movie for so much more than just that

  6. Absolutely, it's kinda been done before, maybe not to the extent of having their own character arc or full on breakdown of their struggles and whatnot, but in episodes like amending fences for example, we get some info on Moondancer, Colgate (Yes I call her colgate, not Minuette) and the rest of her friends. I'd love to see them focus some character development on side characters for sure, with or without the mane 6 involved

  7. For sure, even if you use the argument of "It's a kids show" there's way more than needed (and kids arent as oblivious to this kind of stuff like so many TV executives think.) I think a good example of it is in the cart before the ponies, were not only do we not need to be told AJ, Rainbow dash's and Rarity's motivation (we should know what kind of cart they want to make because we've seen their personalities for many seasons now) but they repeat it over and over until the very end of the episode.
