  1. B-but all of you ship ponies! Thus, implying marriage, cooking, cleaning and raising kids, just like I described. SoarinDash, FlashLight, FlutterMac, just to name a few. Bronies ship it. If they don't like what I describe so much, why do they ship them? Isn't it hypocrisy?
  2. Don't bring real life here, okay? In real life, there are tons of discussion, is a femaly could be considered as a human, or not, so no need to turn the thread to something that it shouldn't be. We're talking about Equestria and how things work there. I asked an innocent question. Nothing else.
  3. No, not a joke. I'm really curious, and I see lots of such opinions anywhere I look. So I wanted to ask for other opinions.
  4. Hello everyone. I've got a question about mane 6. And also I'd like to hear your opinions about it. The thing is -- why do you think they are doing all this stuff, like taking care of animals, trying to join the Wonderbolts, studying, running the farm, organizing parties and making clothes? Wouldn't it be more logical and right if they will finally stop doing all these things? Instead, they should already all get married, cook, clean, raise kids and overall be good and lamblike wives to their husbands? And come to think of it, I cannot understand, why mares in general act like stallions in the show? I didn't see many of them doing what they should do. Would somebody be so kind and explain it to me? I'm really curious, now.
  5. Hi everyone. Well, since I've compelitely abandoned all hope to have close or even regular friends (I doubt that such things even exist, to begin with), I'd like to ask something. A favor. I know that nobody knows me, and I have no right to ask anything, but, hey -- it's the internet. I can at least try. I just probably would need some gaming buddies. You know -- people I can play online games with. I don't ask for more, because It's useless, but playing games? It's what everyone likes, right? Or at least I hope so. So, if anyoone would like to take pity on me, please write. Thank you.
  6. In many places. Here, Fimfiction, Derpiboodu, Equestria Daily. Everywhere.
  7. As for me, and some people I've known, the experience of communication with bronies was... unpleasant, to say the least. From little to no good came from them, most of the time. And I'm not talking about average fans. No, I'm talking about those, who are all about 'Love and Tolerance' thingy. So, you cannot judge them like the regular fans. If they tell, that they are like this, and will love and tolerate anyone, you're expecting them to be at least friendly, right? Well, you're wrong. They aren't better, and, often worse than regular fans, who just won't bother to even respond. Maybe it's a biased viewpoint, but that's how it been for several people. Sorry for messy writing, I'm just nervous and tired.
  8. Hi everyone. We have seen many indications that ponies from the mane 6 are good friends and always watch others' back. This is what the show is all about. But turns out, their friendship isn't as strong as many of us could've imagined. It could be destroyed in a matter of seconds, and I'm not talking about serious issues and\or brainwashing that caused it. I'm talking about money. Yes, money that easily ruins their friendship, which is -- I repeat-- was able to stop even the most powerful monsters. In the issue №30 of official MLP comic the town became divided by civil war and Applejack and Rarity became enemies. The reason of to why They turned from each other were money: Rarity was promised to get a good business contract if she'll be on the other side of barricads in this civil war. Thus, opposite Applejack, which she gladly accepted without much thinking. So, my question is -- if money can easily break their friendship, wouldn't it sound logical, if the next villain, instead of trying to take over Equestria, just provoke another civil war and pay some bits to the mane 6, so they will become enemies again?
  9. Hm... well, I can see a point, but what about people that aren't welcomed to any fandoms or communities? What should they do? (Hope this question won't be percieved as off-topic, I just don't see a point in creating a whole thread because of it)
  10. Hello everyone. I would like to tak about bronies. And specifically, about expectations that a new comer may have, after joining the fandom. I know at least several people, who were very disappointed, if not devastated by reality, after holding very deep and high expectations. Well, maybe they weren't expecting the friendliness of some ponies from mane 6, but at least your average Ponyville folks. And instead, they've got fairly cold reception, combined with nitpicks and other unspeasant things. Some of them eventually left, losing faith in bronies and the fandom. So, what'd you say about it? Are bronies overrated, and have you faced such attitude towards yourselves?
  11. I would argue with that, because it wasn't a slave-trading. It's more like the matter of honor. Fluttershy could have just refused to go there, but she didn't, because she's too honorable to just break the deal like that. I thought it's kinda obvious, but apparently, it isn't. Well, whatever. If you're talking about cows and sheeps, then I do not agree. Why? Because according to this logic, having kids means being a slave owner. Why? I hope you'll get it by yourself. By the way, slavery exists on Earth. Millions of people are slaves, right now. Including kids. Including sexual slavery. All of it worths nothing, compare to social progress ponies made. I mean, hundreds of millions of people starving, while on the other side of the globe hundreds of millions of people just throwing away food into trash. How sick is that? No progress can justify it. @ Mountaineer281)I'm talking only about the land, inhabiten by ponies. As in, Equestria. 2)Imagine that you see an argonian from TES series, leading a guar on the leash. You'd be freaked out. That's not racism whatsoever. Racism is when you hang a person just because his skin color is darker than yours. 3)It does matter. Remember ISIS and tell me that they are harmless. How many such groups that were born by religion? 4)Yes, sorry. Natural disasters. 7)More like petty theft, and happens rarely. Mostly because there shouldn't be racial and social tension, and also ponies aren't as agressive as humans, in general.
  12. Wrong. I think Equestria is much more real than Earth. Just because that's how sentient beings should live.
  13. It is not beside the point. My point is that many bad things either don't exist in Equestria, or they not nearly as harmful as here. Honestly I'd prefer to be bullied by DT and SS, than those jerks. And I'd prefer to experience all these bad guys' risings than live, fearing that someday I could be robbed, beaten up, killed, or biten to death. As for Diamond Dogs, yes, that's bad. But like I said, it's not nearly as bad as what happens to kidnappers' victims here. And that makes them not canon, because they have absolutely nothing to do with the show, and, therefore, with the real Equestria.
  14. It's harmful, yes, but not nearly as real world bullies. Did Diamond and Silver pay some colts, so they would rape CMC? Did they beat them up brutally? Did they use acid in the face method? Or maybe they made them to commit a suicide, or try to do this? Remember that accident with a boy, who tried to kill himself because of that MLP bag, or something? Is something like this possible in Equestria? I don't think so. That is relevant, actually. First, nobody won. In here? Dozens of tyrants killing people and using them as slaves, right now. Second, no victims whatsoever. Here? Thousands of dead, daily. It's a routine, come to think of it. Not ponies kidnapped her. Diamond dogs. It's not the fault of the society. Here? People getting kidnapped for money, for revenge, for sexual slaverty. Compare it to what Rarity has to go through. And no, comics aren't canon. It was confirmed twice, by Jim Miller and by IDW director, or leader, or whoever he is.
  15. Bullies not nearly as harmful as in here, tyrants were ruling thousands years ago, and were much nicer than an average president that killed thousands of people, diamond dogs released her soon enough, without causing harm, and it was only once. The latter was in comics, so it's not canon.
  16. That's what I'm talking about. Exactly what I'm talking about. The whole world is restricted by this, therefore, no bad stuff would happen. Besides, ponies in general much nicer and peaceful than humans. I can't imagine a real war, or, say, street gangs in Equestria.
  17. The world that can control the weather and produce any food in unlimited quanities will never starve. Plus, all ponies have their own advantages and disadvantages, that makes them equal to each other.
  18. A few advantages that Equestria has. 1) No global voes, like hunger, poverty, lack of clean water, wars and homelessness. Ponies seems to have basic stuff, like food, water and a shelter. Well, except those who've chosen a traveler's life, but it's volunterely. 2)No discrimination whatsoever. As in racism, sexism, and many other -isms' we invented. Yeah, some snobbish ponies could laugh a little at country ones, but it's not something that could be called a real discrimination. 3)Lack of religion. As in: no killing over the arguning, which imaginary friend is better, no stupid cases, like dead kids, who died because their parents trust religion over medicine, no religios wars and other stuff like this. 4)No natural diseases. Ponies contorl the weather just fine. 5)Wise and fair rulers. Celestia and Luna -- nuff said. 6)Everypony is happy, doing the job they love. Cutiemarks tell ponies what they will be happy to do their whole lives, and, therefore, there's no cases like hating jobs or whatever. (Except Trixie, but it's mostly her own fault and it was temporary anyway). 7)From little to no crime. Flim Flam brothers, that rivalty over a golden ring in Daring Don't and RD, who's stolen a book. No armed robberies, no rapes, no murders, no assaults. Kids safely travel all around Equestria on their own, like AJ from Ponyville to Manehattan and Cheese Sandwige, or whatever his name is, from Manehattan to Ponyville. Anyone wants to add something here what I missed, or maybe point on to any mistakes I've made?
  19. 2)She looks like Barbie. Worse than that, even. 3)Mary Sue is when everyone likes her without any reason. 4)See above. 5)She's an alicorn and a Princess. She has to be strong. It's her duty. 6)It's about that Heart, she's connected to. Not about her. -I'm not telling about possible fight between Cadance and Chrysalis. I'm telling that Cadance was conscuous and able to move, yet she didn't do anything to escape. Heck, even when Twilight came around, all she did was crying and singing. -She's a Princess, an alicorn. She has to be strong and last longer than a regular unicorn. Shining was also brainwashed. She didn't fight to the end -- she just gave up, like you'd expect her to.
  20. -She was uncoscuous, thus not controlling herself. It was something she could not do. Her mind wasn't there. -Yes. He was fighting 'till the end. Cadance didn't even bother. All she could -- is to sing and cry. And her singing sucks, too. Come on, don't make this personal. It's easy to call somebody a troll, but I'd like to listen your arguments. I gave you mine.
  21. -Celestia faited after a blast. Cadance was fully conscuous. -No, Shining did all he could. He fought to the end, and did everything. She was brought there by Twilight, singing and crying all the way there. And all she had to do is to touch his horn with her own. Bravo, she needs to get a medal. If Cadance wouldn't decide to come there, Fluttershy wouldn't know that. Cadance is guilty.
  22. Because she did make a decision to visit Twilight, thus agreeing to take all responsibility on herself. Think about it as a contract or something. She triggered it, she decided to visit Twilight, she knew that Discord is free, she could imagine that he won't stand aside. She took full responsibility for Twilight's safety on herself by going there. She's guilty.
  23. -I already gave you an analogy with a rat. Rat fights even while dying. Cadance doesn't. She's worse than a rat. -Yes, and she failed miserable. If not Twilight, who found the heart, if not Shining who threw her, if not Spike, who was carrying that heart everything would be lost just because she was too weak to hold the line. She triggered it. She is responsible. Not knowing the law doesn't make you clear before the law, if you commited the crime. She had no idea, what could happen, yeah... but if she could think -- use her pretty, brainless head a little, she would know that Discord wouldn't miss this opportunity. And do something about it.
  24. -We know nothing about how Cadance was captured, so no need to talk about that. I'm saying that she did nothing to at least try to leave that place. And don't tell me she couldn't -- with Twilight's help they were freed pretty fast. -I admitted that Celestia and Luna thought she's useful. Turns out, they were wrong. I'm saying that she's responsible for putting Twilight in danger, just like Discord, who sent them there. But it all started with Cadance.
