    いみ（meaning）：Irritated, impatient, tantalized (adjective)
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：だれか私のケーキをたべたから、私は歯がゆいだよ！dareka ga watashi no keeki wo tabeta kara, watashi wa hagayui da yo!
     
    ほんやく（translation）：I'm irritated, because someone ate my cake!
     
    We've all been there. I get legitimately ticked when someone eats my food. (The fact that it's not actually mine, but is merely in my mind is irrelevant, lol. 8P) I mean, did they not know that I had mental dibs on it?! For shame! D:

    成長、せいちょう、seichou

     
    いみ （meaning）：Growth, grow to adulthood （noun or verb）
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：成長ことはときどき難しいけど、いいですよ。Seichou koto wa tokidoki muzukashii kedo, ii desu yo.
     
    ほんやく（translation）：Growth is difficult sometimes, but it's good, ya know.
     
    Okay, I have an explanation for why I haven't posted in a while, lol. I'm just going to sum it up as life But I'm back now and I'm gonna try my hardest to upload these daily -- and if not daily, then every other day. ^^
     
    Also, I have an announcement. ^^ If you're learning kanji or want to learn kanji, check out @Tsukuyomi-MLP new blog called Today's Kanji. In it, he'll post kanji(s) that he's learning every other day or so!

    いみ（meaning）：opinion, view, comment
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：じゃあ、それはただあなたの意見だよ。Jaa, sore wa tada anata no iken da yo
     
    ほんやく（translation）：Well, that's just your opinion, you know?
     
     
    Everyone has an opinion; whether we share them or not. They can strengthen our connections with others, can be the platform for mutual ground, or can be the fire by which bridges are burned, lol -- depending on the situation and how you articulate them. Either way, they are important and it obvious as to why this is a relevant word to know.

    いみ（meaning）：Self-confidence, Confidence (in oneself) (noun, verb)

    ほんやく（translation）：I want to be more confident.
     
    Self-confidence is something that I - and many of you -- strive for more of every single day. I realized, more so recently, that taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone may be uncomfortable, but it is well worth it in the end. ^-^ Following the Japanese theme; traveling to a foreign country and also having fun while there takes confidence. You're going to have opportunities to do new things and and be in different situations, and it can be nerve racking at first. But it's best to do it anyway and broaden your experiences!

    ほんやく（translation）： The living expenses in Japan is not so expensive.
     
    I truly apologize for having missed Friday, you guys. すみません、すみません！>.< But here is a very practical word to know. Boring? --- perhaps but living expenses are something that everyone is going to have to consider before they go to Japan. It's all about the moola, haha

    arigatou gozaimashita.
     
    ほんやく（translation）：Thank you for your hospitality!
     
    The Japanese tend to be very hospitable and kind people. ^-^ In order to express specifically your gratitude for the hospitality that you will undoubtedly receive in Japan, this word is important to know.

    This drawing is for my good friend and Senpai, Buttertoast (a.k.a Space Woona). ^-^ In passing, he mentioned that we wanted a drawing of his OC as a profile picture -- and as soon as I read this, I got right to work drawing this for him. Albeit, I intentionally acted like I didn't see what he said so it could be a surprise. Well, surprise! And I hope you like it, Buttertoast-Senpai! haha

    ほんやく（translation）：Selfies are so annoying!
     
    Here's another fun word for you all, haha. 自撮り is a colloquial expression; in other words, it should be used in only casual situations. ^-^ So, I wouldn't advise telling your Japanese boss that you like to take selfies -- well, unless you are friendly with each other and all that wonderful jazz.

    いみ（meaning）： (Internet) troll Dun dun DUN!
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：荒らしに話すより無視する方がいいです。arashi ni hanasu yori mushi suru hou ga ii desu.
     
    ほんやく（translation）：It's better to ignore trolls than to talk to them. (Da troof! lol)
     
    Ahh -- the good 'ole internet troll. As much as the internet would be a better place without them -- they are, unfortunately, here to stay. Thus, not only is this a cool word -- it's actually quite relevant, especially when talking with friends in casual Japanese. And remember folks; don't feed the 荒らし.

    いみ（meaning）：Nervous, flustered, in a dither (lol), all shook up (adverb, verb)
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：私は演説をする前に、とてもおろおろしていた。watashi wa enzetsu wo suru mae ni, totemo ororo shite ita.
     
    ほんやく（translation）：Before I made my speech, I was very nervous.
     
    I am so sorry for missing a day -- and almost two (p.s.t., haha)! Life has been super busy as of late. Anyway ^-^ I feel like this is an important word to know, because when you try new things -- which you definitely will -- in Japan, you're going to be nervous. Whether that is asking for directions for the first time, or walking up to someone and starting a conversation in the language. Overcoming nervousness is well worth the reward and will gain you new and amazing experiences!

    れいぶん（example sentence）：私は彼女の笑いのツボが好きです。watashi wa kanojo no warai no tsubo ga suki desu.
     
    ほんやく（translation）：I like her sense of humor.
     
    I thought this word was really neat. You can describe people's sense of humor with a plethora of adjectives; odd, dark, sarcastic, hilarious, kooky etc.

    いみ（meaning）：(one's) favorite food
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：何があなたの大好物ですか？nani ga anata no daikoubutsu desu ka?
     
    ほんやく（translation）： What's your favorite food?
     
    This is a fun word, haha. ^-^ Food can be a great conversation starter; it opens up the door to sharing stories, memories, and culture with one another. This is why I think it's an important word to know; and maybe even the example sentence too.

    社交的（な）、（しゃこうてき）、Shakouteki (na)


     
     
    いみ（meaning ）：Sociable, friendly (Noun, Na-adjective)
     
    れいぶん（example sentence）：私の先生はとても社交的な人です。Watashi no sensei wa totemo shakouteki na hito desu.
     
    ほんやく（translate）： My teacher is a very sociable person.
     
    Sorry for posting this so late, it's been a long day, but I got it up! This word is a little bit different, because it's both a noun and something called a Na-adjective. When modifying a noun with a Na-adjective -- like in the example sentence above -- な(na) is placed in between the noun and the adjective. When it's not modifying a noun, な is not used. For example: 彼は社交的です(kare wa shakouteki), "He is sociable." ^-^
