Sketchy raised an eyebrow, before he could insist that it wouldn't be a problem she changed the subject. "Well, um... I don't really do any sports here, but outside of school I work out, I'm a wrestler, kickboxer, and also in the summer I swim." He said confidently, maybe a little too confident "I really enjoy being active" he said "do you do and athletics?"

"Not really..." Dreampuff began but stopped upon noticing a poster for cheerleading tryouts. "I might try out for cheerleading though. That's the type of thing I'd be into. But anything excessively aggressive isn't really my thing. I don't think I'd ever do outdoor sports either. I don't like dirt...." She shrugged. "That's just me though. What about student government? Do they have that here? I've heard that type of thing can be interesting."

Sketchy grinned. Class was really dragging on, and at that point he had been doodling in his notebook out of boredom. Sketchy then looked at the clock "class is almost over." He pointed out, sketchy looks at Dreampuff, and she looked like something was on her mind "hey, Dreampuff, you look like you got something on your mind, what's up?" He asked while he put away his notebook

Dreampuff was jerked out of her train of thought when she heard her name. "What? Oh... no. I mean, yes. I mean... never mind. Tell me about you. Do you play any sports? Any extracurricular activities? I'm looking to get involved. But I don't really know the best way to go about it."

Not sure if it can be done, but would it be possible to draw my OC again with mall shopping bags? And would it be possible to keep the white choker and white shoes on her this time? Also, I'd like to see her with her hair a bit more coiffed... maybe like Applejack in this pic, but without the jewels in her hair? A white ribbon instead of the jewels would be sufficient....

AAAAHHH, She's so cute!

Right now the students are just sitting in the history classroom.... waiting for the teacher....

My character is gonna be pissed that there are 2 engineering classes and apparently no one teaching history.... which would mean all classes are engineering-based. This is not a mare who likes to get her hooves dirty XD

Three then. History is either an NPC, or Duck forgot to edit the first post. I'm just waiting around wondering when people will decide it's time for my character to teach.

 

BTW Lektra's subject is actually named Experimental Engineering. There are overlaps with Jackie, but this headcanon I'm working with comes out to be more high tech.

Is this why the history teacher hasn't shown up yet??

"Cool, I also like parties, it's really fun to socialize and everything" he said "I also like try different mane stule too, actually, it's really fun to see how I look in different mane styles, I actually have my mane longer than usual right now." He exclaimed.

"Ooh!" Dreampuff looked at his mane more carefully. It did indeed look like an originally shorter cut that had grown out some. All she wanted to do at that moment was French braid Sketchy's mane. Having been an only child who was raised and homeschooled by a string of nannies until this day, she had never had the typical pre-adolescent experiences she so desired. She had only ever been to her elder cousin's birthday parties. But she longed to socialize with ponies her own age. Not just her nanny, not just her cousin, not just the employees at the spa she frequented. She wanted to have a go-to group of besties. She wanted to have pool parties with colorful, tropical drinks. She wanted slumber parties. Slumber parties with silly selfies and makeovers and French braiding. But she remembered what her most recent nanny had said about not treating stallions as mares. She didn't understand why a stallion would be offended if a mare treated him like another mare... but she had to take her nanny's word for it as she knew no better. Then again, he had not seemed offended by her earlier comment about the hoof polish... but better safe than sorry.

Obviously last night I was feeling aggro and confused so I took it out on the post, it helps ;p  

I actually really appreciate this advice. It helps a lot. Btw... I get the feeling your character is going to absolutely despise mine. And quite possibly vice versa. Anything I say to you in RP should NOT be taken personally

Sketchy grinned at the compliment "haha, I guess I do, don't I" he said looking at his colors hooves "I guess I'll wash them off after class" sketchy sat down in a seat next to Dreampuff. Sketchy thought that since class hadn't started yet, he could maybe start a conversation "hey, Dreampuff. What do you like to do" he asked curiously.

Dreampuff smiled at the invitation to talk about her interests. "Well... I like shopping, parties, art galleries, modeling, hooficures (obviously), just talking... I like to experiment with my mane and try different styles. I don't always wear it up. Sometimes, I'll do like a half updo or completely down, but completely down is haaaaard in the summer because of the high humidity..."

Sketchy looked at his hooves, which were now slightly smeared with hoofpolish "nope, I'm fine, but my hooves are super pretty though ha ha" he said with a smile "you shouldn't worry too much, it's just hoofpolish, right? Not like super expensive or anything?" He said

"It's a salon brand... but it will be fine. Besides, it's a great color on you," Dreampuff said with a smile. She looked over at the mini tornado being formed at the other mare's desk and smiled bigger. This was going to be a fun school year. Everything was still new, but it was already comfortable. She couldn't wait to meet everypony else!

Sketchy laughed a bit "nah nah, I know... My full name can be taken in two different ways, but yeah it mean I like to draw" he said "just Call me Sketch" he noticed the broken glass on the floor "uhm, let me get that." He kneeled down and picked up the glass getting some of the content on his hoofs.

Hoof polish. Sketchy would need acetone to remove the paint from his hooves. At least he didn't have a fresh hooficure to ruin...

Dreampuff smiled gratefully and then sighed. "Aloe is going to kill me. I borrowed that hoof polish from her." She turned to Sketchy. "Thank you for cleaning that up. You didn't get any cuts from the glass, i hope?"

Sketchy watched as the stallion suddenly run out of the room abruptly, sketchy raised an eyebrow at the sudden action, he turns his head back to the two mares, and made an awkward look "what on earth was that?" He blurted "I think that's an A+ for first impressions haha" sketchy said sarcastically. He paused "That's actually mean, I'm sorry" he said still grinning.

 

He heard Dreampuff speak "yeah, I can't argue with that actually, we are super weird... I'm Sketchy by the way"

"Sketchy. Interesting. I do hope that just means you like to draw or something. I hadn't planned on meeting anyone 'sketchy' in the disreputable sense. Again, I do hope I don't offend. I'm just a bit of a walking thesaurus, and in some regions, your name means.... ummm.... forget it. What's the protocol around here for broken glass? I don't want anypony to get hurt...."

Dreampuff shrugged at this information. "Stallions are weird."

She paused and looked back over at the other stallion in the room. "No offense. I'm sure you're lovely."

She returned to her rummaging, this time more aggressively. A bottle of hoof polish came flying out of her purse and shattered on the floor. "......Oops."

Dreampuff stood there, stunned at Lightening's abrupt exit. She turned to the other 2 ponies. "What's his problem?"

She sat down and started rummaging through her purse for her lipstick. "Seriously, is he the exception or the rule? Are most ponies nice, or are they.... like that?"

Sketchy walked into the school and looked around the hallways "yup" he said to himself "I'm late.." He walked through the halls looking for his class "I think I missed... First, so I'm guessing I should go to second?" He said to himself rubbing his chin. Sketchy trotted into History class, there were two other ponies sitting in the class talking. He trotted towards them "hey, excuse me... are we meant to be in second period?" He asked.

Dreampuff appeared in the doorway. Having heard Sketchy's question, she giggled and muttered, "Well at least I'm not the only one who's late...."

She trotted over to the other 3 ponies. "I'm Dreampuff. I'm new here. Ummm... is this seat taken? I don't know anypony yet, so..."

Why would you like to be a student?: Never done any RP before, but this sounds interesting In the past, Dreampuff was raised and educated by a string of nannies; her father is a workaholic, and her mother has been in a coma for several years. Before her accident, however, her mother was a brilliant actress and painter.

Will you make a good impression upon our school?: Of course!

Will you give a good reputation for our school?: Of course!

Interests/Hobbies: She loves shopping, parties, the theatre, art galleries and various activities that remind her of life before her mother's accident. Since her mother loved painting portraits of her when she was a child, Dreampuff has a fondness for modeling. She loves acting as well, but she will often shy away from acting jobs for fear of outshining her mother.

Likes: Dairy foods, especially fancy cheeses, ice cream and yogurt. I have a feeling she might also like cheerleading when and if she is ever introduced to it.

Dislikes: Despite being a dairy heiress, she has never spent much time in an actual farm environment, and as such, she is somewhat confused and grossed out by the natural world.

And just as a side note, I am asexual (and I think I'm aromantic too), and if it's not too much trouble, I would prefer my OC be the same way.... but only if it's not too much trouble. I don't want to be a burden

I am very big on hugging and verbal affection though

And if somepony else has a crush on HER, I wouldn't have a problem with that. I just don't really see her dating or chasing anypony. She would be much more focused on friendship than love.
