Yes and no. She is on the same redemption path that Sunset is on, but both will end up at different places. She is the Sunset from Rainbow Rocks, but won't end up as the Sunset from Friendship Games. (Basically she will never be in the group leader, role switcher, #1 position that Sunny is in now. She will never be the main character).

I wanted to do a quick poll just to gage how many people's opinions have changed, however small or not at all. Please pick the corresponding answer, and don't criss-cross so I can get the most accurate result. Personally, I think I like her a bit more after the premiere, but she is not set in stone quite yet for me as a character I particularly like.

I've seen every episode and always make sure I watch them live because I know I'll forget later. That being said, I'm definitely not feeling the hype for S6 that I felt for S4 and 5. Not too concerned with what's going on in the show as I just watch it for pure enjoyment and don't analyze (with the exception of a few awful episodes I'd rather didn't exist). I'll still most likely watch it until the end, but I'm more focused on other shows and interests now.

This would make me so happy, but it's probably not going to happen. They can keep the song, but could at least re-animate it to show how much the animation has improved and not making everything look incredibly shoehorned in.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of romance plots in the first place (with a few exceptions, of course). I have no problem Shining and Cadance, Rarity fangirling over stallions or Spike's crush on Rarity, but I came here to watch ponies make friends, not fall in love. I also do like shipping characters, but don't want it to happen in the actual show, it'd be kind of weird. (This is from a 'feminist' perspective).

Very different. You see, I started watching (this generation of) My Little Pony when I was 9 and just starting to figure out who I was. After I was watching MLP for quite a while, I began to stumble across other cartoons, websites, and even musical artists because of it, and because of the people I met. I've basically made a lot of friends, discovered my interests, and grew up with pony. So yes, I imagine that I would be very different.

For episodes: A Celestia episode, Ponyville prank war episode, beach episode, Sunset in there for an episode. But what I really want is a backstory (that makes sense) for the elements, or some kind of prophecy thing, etc. that connects a lot of loose ends. Or Celestia & Luna's past. I'm a sucker for those kinds of things . Do you even know what pain you've wished for?

Honestly, I still think that she will eventually be a new member of the Mane Cast. Key word is eventually. They'll make a slower progression and finally push her in in the finale. I think this because of my favorite guessing game, patterns! I'm determined this will happen. 1. In finale, huge thing happens, everypony is pumped! Everyhuman hates it. (ex. Castle or Alicorn): Starlight is supposedly introduced into mane cast. 2. All of a sudden, it's retconned! An issue appears. (ex. Twilight hates her castle, being an alicorn isn't all it's cracked up to be): Starlight kind of pushed out / ignored. 3. The season works on the issue. (ex. Castle ep, Alicorn duties): Starlight gets bonding time. 4. Next finale, the issue is finally solved! The huge thing leads to another huge thing. (Alicorn unlocks Castle, Castle Map unlocks Starlight it led them to her it totally counts): Starlight becomes official member! She gets something! (Throne, EoH (hopefully not), she holds the key to something else entirely, etc.)
