    Wow! I really love symbolism like that! There's something magnificent about a few simple lines having so much meaning. I always thought I was weird for putting huge symbolism into little things. I didn't know other people did it! That's so awesome! I'm sorry your life is so sad though. I find it a major challenge to love or like myself too. I really hope your happiness comes back some day.

    I suppose there's also I bit of a sad, desperate feel to it too. I think that's why I connect to it so well though.

    Hope everypony's having a good evening/morning/day/night where ever you are. I have a friend who's in the hospital for the next four weeks due to her depression, and I feel so powerless to help. :( I can barely keep my own mind together most of the time. Sorry if I've had a few less pleasant posts recently. Just want to get a few things off my chest. I'll make sure to post a cool song or something later tonight. :adorkable:

    I'm feeling kind of tired and anxious. Part of me is feeling good too though, so it's not all bad. Sometimes I'm not sure if I hate life or love it.

    Hmm... I'd kind of like a pony girlfriend, but only if I were a pony too. Otherwise, I'd have to stick with human. Man do I wish I was a pony.

    Voted in a city plebiscite today. The side I voted for ended up with 44% of the vote, the other taking 56%. I guess I'll feel a bit bummed for a day for two, but it wasn't all that important. I'm more just tired than anything. I'll be fine. :adorkable:

      It's true that city council can still legally go through with the bid, but it would be without provincial funding. That combined with the majority of the city against a bid makes me think that continuing the bid now is just a bad idea, no matter how much I personally would like to see the Olympics in Calgary.:mlp_huh:

      Yeah I wouldn't go for it after the vote result either. Doing so would probably be a nice quick way for city council to be voted out next election though if that's what they're after :laugh:

    I don't often get headachs, but I might try drinking some water to make sure I'm hydrated, as well as take a pill if it's getting bad. If it still persists for a while, it might be good to see a doctor.

    *sigh* I've just been feeling this growing anxiety in my gut all day. :( I'm not sure where it's coming from. I got a long weekend off work, but I have to go back tomorrow and I just feel drained. I guess I'll feel better once I get to work tomorrow, as long as I'm not nearly falling asleep during work as it often happens. :dry:

      Thanks for the encouragement @Midnight Solace and @Tacodidra. I am feeling a bit better after getting some sleep. :) I would take a nap at work, but I'm kept a bit too busy for that. ^_^

    I have a couple things which mean a lot to me. One is a Twilight Sparkle figure that my brother gave me for Christmas in 2014. It was my first piece of pony merch, and it really helped me to start liking myself as a brony, as well as start overcoming a bought of depression. I also feel very sentimental about my name tags from when I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). They remind me of when I had a lot of difficult challenges, but met a lot of amazing people that I'll never forget.

    I'm Canadian, so I've seen my fair share of snow. I think it's fun for winter sports or even just snowball fights! I only wish it wouldn't fall on the roads. Slip'n'slides aren't so fun in a metal death machine at over 60 kph.

    I'm totally against littering. I also wish something could be done about all the cigarette butts I see lying around at train stations and such. The only time I actually wanted to litter was when I was 3 years old and thought it was cool to leave trash on the ground or something. I had some strange ideas back then.

    It took me over three years to reach the butterfly rank. I hardly posted for the first few months I was on here, and then I practically disappeared for a few years. It's only in the last few weeks that I've actually become active and trying to make friends on the forums.

    Thanksgiving is one of my favourite holidays! Though since I'm Canadian, we celebrate it in October. My family usually gets together for a big turkey dinner with all the usual dishes. I always love the pumpkin pie for dessert! Depending on the year though, my family will either stay home and have dinner with local relatives, or we'll travel to a different part of the province to have dinner with family that we don't see as often.

    I'm not really sure. I've lived in a city my entire life, except for a couple months last year, when I was staying in a small town. I suppose I might find it nicer to live in a town, but I'd still want a city to be nearby.

    I think I'm a bit more well-known here now than I was a few weeks ago, since I wasn't really active till then. I still consider myself to be fairly low-key though. I don't post all that much.
