...because they were recently found to have English words used on their packaging! 

I wrote a callout document on a forum I used to frequent seven years ago. It was the biggest mistake I ever made and I'm very happy to have reconciled with the head admin I called out back then now.

I used to like Sprite best, but I think I like Coke better than Sprite now. My favorite soft drink now though is root beer. 

I celebrated my 4th of July a day early this year watching a fireworks show last night at a resort with my uncle and little brother. We had some awesome food and it was a good time. 

All these years later and I still remember House of Mouse's take on Around the World in 80 Days like it was yesterday. I think my favorite shorts beside that one were Mickey Foils the Phantom Blot and Topsy Turvy Town. I thought the ones where Minnie broke into Daisy's house just to give her a pie and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy wash Bluto's car were pretty funny too.

We have another new backpack coming.

That's no shock at all. It's always been the most popular generation and licensees gravitate toward what's most popular. G5 just does not have the luxury G4 got back in the day and the fact that it's still getting attention is what matters most to me.

So it looks like MLP is still doing fine and Hasbro is not completely ignoring G5 despite the rumors.

Don't feel things happened the way they did because G5 "failed" from this, especially not with the new Hasbro-promoted TYT merch. I think it has to do with the sudden boom of G4 stuff.

Currently on my third watch of Make Your Mark and almost done with my second watch of Tell Your Tale and...this series is still awesome. It is 100% nostalgia, G4 connections, and art style that clouds people's judgement on it. Just look at this.

Not even 30% of bronies think writing is the best thing about FiM. The amount of people who value looks and lore more...like...no wonder you can't appreciate this generation's great writing.

I keep seeing people complaining about this series being "wasted potential" because of this thing not being explained right or that thing not being developed right even as it barely had any time to do what it wanted to do. G4 did the exact same thing while it had loads of time to do what it wanted to do. Why does the series that had much less opportunity get railed on so much more?

The fan revival for Tell Your Tale that was announced by Hawk Nightwing a good while back has gone through a lot of changes since that announcement. It is now an audio drama that will be adapting official TYT scripts and the art style of the IDW comics. 

Just yesterday, Shad0w-Galaxy shared some concept art for an upcoming episode of the revival.

Very impressed with what I've seen so far.  Thoughts? 

To this day, I still see people acting like it was some big bastardization of Twilight's character for her to create the Unity Crystals, even as it's been explained over and over how it was explained in the comics and Make Your Mark that it was the ponies' fault that magic got lost (they could still use the magic even after it was sealed in the Unity Crystals), not Twilight's. Regardless, there's something I never realized until now...isn't it much more out of character/"out of character" for Twilight to be okay with outliving her friends than sealing magic away to save the world? 

I mean, think about it. Twilight created the Unity Crystals because she believed ponies would choose friendship and bring magic back if it was lost. That's consistent with the friendship is magic theme...but how is her being cool with outliving her friends?

Doing my best to be cautiously optimistic about this despite G5's abrupt cancellation. If they really intend to make us wait until 2027, I hope "lots of new content" does not mean we're just going to get that Cutie Mark Camp show. 

I've now finished watching all twenty-six episodes after the second batch dropped not too long ago and I was pretty impressed.  Loved how there were no bad episodes in the entirety of the series, enjoyed all the new characters, and I especially enjoyed Sawtooth's character progression. This show really deserves to be more recognized.
