    Yeah, seems like the wiki was wrong with the "Glad Tidings From Afar" event. Their timers are already out and it now says, that "This content is no longer available.", which doesn't seem to be true, as I can still visit the event page and play.

    Either way, I added "Overflowing Mastery" event to home page.

    Yeah that's an interesting way to get into the show, but it's quite common in general, that one gets here thanks to other media. I got into MLP after watching enough random parodies that featured MLP crossovers. :P

    I like Silent Hill series too. The first game on PSX master race :darling:

    According to that wiki? Yeah I was confused, I've noticed things were odd there, but I think they made a mistake themselves:

    These countdowns are based on the date put above: 28th Oct 4AM (gmt+8) 

    And below you have the same date but before midnight, so the other date is 20 entire hours later than the one in countdown! e-kirinwoah.png

    See, it's so confusing even wiki can't keep up with it ^_^

    According to this, I've put the following in my code: 2023-10-28T23:59:00+08:00

    28 oct 23:59 (utc+8)  in my timezone will be 28 oct 17:59 (utc+2), so counting from now (25 oct ~15:00) it will be in 3 days and 3 hours and my countdown shows the accurate time for me.

    So I don't know, I think the wiki is wrong, given they put two different dates on the same page of theirs lol.

    So these are different after all. Well, that explains why whenever a new character is released, there already are videos with builds and whatever available before those characters actually come out for everyone. It makes no difference at all for a player to get new stuff later, but it may be something annoying for content creators, who try to cover juicy fresh content before others do.

    Either way, I still personally think it's quite dull, but whatever, it is what it is.

    The wiki did help, thanks. I see the time differences, so I can set correct timezones up. :darling:

    I've updated the home page and added timers for some other servers, let me know if the timing is right in these now. :darling:

    Nah, I don't need any of this - or at least, it makes little difference. Exceptions are oculuses, but I'll redeem all at once when I collect all. :P

    By how many hours is the timer off for you?

    I tried to look up the timing for banners and the like and people complain about them being released sooner in some servers, while others have to wait and be swarmed with spoilers the early dudes spread. Man, if that's true, that's actually pretty dumb, especially if you account the fact, that hoyolab provides a single start/end date in their news, so why would they bother doing it if it's all over the place and wrong anyway. Can mihoyo finally do a single thing right for once? ;-;

    I guess I'll have to do a deep research and find timings for each timezone, but from one article i bumped into, the timing was the same worldwide. I mean, everyone had an update at different hours obviously, but globally it was at the same time.

    I'm confused, I'll look around I guess. :mlp_icwudt:

    Which timers exactly were/are off?

    I just realized the wish banner was off for me as well, by 3 hours, so I adjusted its timezone.

    Are the timers correct for you now or should I look into it further? :P

    I've grabbed the times from hoyo's announcements on their twitter / hoyolab. I assumed the timing is the same for all servers. (That is, events start and end at the same moment)

    ...or wait, I think the problem is with viewer 's timezone... I did specify the timezones for events so they're static, but the times are compared to your current timezone, so since it moves, that's where the gap will appear

    Later, I'll set the current time to be based on certain timezone too, so that both will be static and everyone sees the same timing.

    ^ EDIT: nvm, if I'm getting it correctly, the current time actually uses universal time, not one's system one, so it should be all cool there.

    That's good you brought it up, I had a feeling there may be problems, so I'm currently experimenting.

    Also mihoyo doesn't always specify the timezones, and apparently it's different for in-game events and web events...

    Oh I hope the in-game events indeed start and end at the same moment for all servers ;-; ... But I believe they do, otherwise it would be kinda lame if some servers would have new content sooner or later than the others. It has to be the same moment for all servers, but just in different hours based on timezone.
