I'm guessing that the other characters--excluding the Mane Six--will either be reduced to having minor scenes or minor cameos that don't involve them speaking. This movie can only be so long and to include so many characters would mean some being given better treatment over others. Discord? He should have a non-speaking part unless John De Lancie was asked to come in to record some lines for the movie. Sunset? I really want her to make some kind of appearance but I will settle with something like a picture or other image to indicate her presence.

I'd like to think that the ponies from the village that she "ruled" over have since become her friends given that they did forgive her for what she put them though to satisfy her own agenda. While Starlight hasn't visited them all that much due to having doubts over whether she could be a good leader, I think she will try to see them more often now that she has a clear understanding of what it means to step up and do what she can without losing her cool. With regards to the other Mane Six, Starlight could eventually become friends with them--she already has the foundations in place--but she needs more time to understand their way of thinking.

Twilight and Cadance, despite both being princesses in their own way, still answer to both Celestia and Luna seeing as they have been in that position far longer and would know much more about the way things are supposed to operate in Equestrian society. Neither of the two main rulers are perfect and have shown that even they can be flawed though they do their best to ensure that such flaws don't prevent them from ruling accordingly. I've often wondered if Celestia obeyed a force that was higher than her, yet with Luna, I see her as not wanting to follow anyone other than her sister.
Celestia answering to a higher authority is certainly plausible and would explain why some of her actions happened the way they did.

Surprised that they would announce a new series only a year after the previous one had concluded. I wonder if Ocean Studios will be contracted to provide the voice work or Hasbro decides to go with a different group altogether. In any case, this should definitely make Littlest Pet Shop fans happy.

For Faust to even consider coming back to work on one of Hasbro's properties, she would want to have complete control of the direction it gets taken in, and not follow what Hasbro deems as its mandate on how it's supposed to work. Also, I'd think she would need to overcome her grievances over what lead to her departure from MLP after season one.

Maybe she believed the problems of the southern lands weren't her problem and so decided not to interfere? If she were to get involved then those same lands could accuse her of exceeding her boundaries.

The movie had more songs than any other Equestria Girls movie--twelve as opposed to the usual six though the three shorts that were released months after Rainbow Rocks do count bringing the total up to fifteen--and while not all of them were rock, a few of them did fit that description. If anything, I just see the name of the movie as exactly that, a name that the writers wanted to use to convey the sense that the movie focused heavily on songs.

Looks like "Sushi Sunset" is going to become a thing now thanks in large part to that EQG Mini of hers.

I'm already liking where this is going.

Not likely going to happen as it would go against the age demographic of the show. Also, the writers wouldn't be able to implement such ideas since they would need Hasbro's approval, and I doubt they would give them the time of day.

Pure alicorns have a much longer life-span than other ponies though ponies who ascended to alicorns would retain their average life expectancy, though whether this will ever be mentioned in the show remains to be seen. Twilight and Cadance will live as long as your typical Equestrian pony, yet Flurry Heart is expected to live as long as Celestia and Luna since she is a pure alicorn despite one of her parents being just a unicorn.

I liked 02 tho. The plot was so cool and i loved they introduced more universes. Here (spain) the dub was pretty good and changed the openings/endings.
Then I watched Tamers but i think i didnt finished. I liked the story, main digimons, and its tone. still i was bitter for lots of years that they didnt continue show in the same adventure/02 universe. I know so much later they confirmed that all seasons coexist and are canon universes, but at that time i thought that they just erease the first show rebooting it. now we have digimon tri which i only watched 4 episodes (imo pretty boring) but im glad they returned. still wish a season set in the future of that universe where all digimon and humans coexist (that was stated at the end of digimon 02)
To me, Digimon Adventure 02 got interesting when Black WarGreymon appeared. He ended up changing the dynamic of the show by being a character who was unstoppable and struck fear into all those who crossed his path, and his final moments were memorable as it showed that he did indeed have a heart despite being artificial. Digimon Tamers was much darker in tone with a much heavier emphasis on death and dealing with forces that were beyond their parameters.

The one called "Celestial Advice" could relate to Celestia in some way or it could just be an unfortunate coincidence that involves something else that happens to be a play on her name. I'm hoping Celestia finally gets her own episode as she has been waiting since the very beginning for one.

Well, in all honesty I should probably watch anything I haven't seen of the show yet, considering what I did watch was rather confusing at times due to the fact I barely know any of the lore behind the series besides the basic concept. The DVD I had was Season 2 Volume 4 which was rather late into the series. I doubt the movie will make much sense without knowing all that stuff, when exactly is it in the timeline?
The movie takes place twenty years after season two in the year 2005.

Oh, trust me I've seen plenty of Generation One, I actually have a DVD with a bunch of episodes on there which I've owned for quite a few years now, It's easily my favourite iteration of the bunch although it has It's flaws. Plus, as crappy of some of those movie licensed games that my friend owned were, they did at least have some unlockable G1 episodes which were a really good time.
In that case, you just need to watch the movie to see what happens for yourself. Generation one does have flaws given that the animation quality varies from episode to episode, some voices sound different, continuity isn't its strongest suit, and some episodes are just plain awful, yet it retains that nostalgia factor.

I still see Twilight's Kingdom as being my favourite season finale mainly because of how Lord Tirek was implemented, Discord finally coming to understand friendship, and Twilight embracing her title as a princess despite struggling to figure out what her purpose was to be. Is it a perfect episode? No as there is no such thing. All episodes have flaws whether or not we choose to see them with our own eyes, and this particular finale does have issues. I still have trouble accepting the Rainbow Power designs for instance.

Yeah, I've seen it around, It's pretty easy to find, I just gotta scrape together the money for it is all. I personally think even the original show's animation is still just as great as it was back then but that's just a matter of opinion.
Since generation one was what started the brand, I also suggest watching the show as well. You don't have to watch every single episode--some are best to avoid--but watch enough so that you can get an idea as to how the other iterations came into being by basing themselves off of the original. I'd watch episodes from season two more than anything.

Instead of shouting "Godzilla", the people of the city are shouting "Shimmer".

I'm obsessed over receiving payments whenever my cards are won over on EBay. I get so nervous about it that I can't help but keep looking to see when someone has sent the appropriate money every ten minutes or so after the auction has ended. After having a number of mishaps regarding this, I just can't help myself anymore.

Valentine's Day doesn't mean a thing to me. I just see it as a regular day because I never got involved with anyone--I do regret my choice though it's too late now--yet I won't stop anyone from enjoying the holiday. If someone and their significant other love it to pieces then who am I to stop them? Granted, it does go overboard from time to time.

It's all part of the business of selling toys. You release toys related to an upcoming product that in turn will produce hype towards said project because you know children will want to go and see it.

That true.
Yeh i almost forgot about digimon Tri! Digimon tamer is pretty good too, the fact the characters are well made. I have to say that digimon frontier would be my favorite, since instead having the digimon do the fight while the human just stay back, you would have the character do the fighting. I think data squad is the worst second to digimon fusion but i like the animation.
Digimon Tri brought back many of the original voice cast though not all of them.

Thanks for the consideration, much appreciated. On the subject of ratings though, I wouldn't really know how old those would suggest, or what they'd convert to considering my country doesn't have ratings for cartoons at all, as a result of that shows are constantly censored here in a desperate bid to keep all cartoons appealing to kids of all ages, It's kind of sad. Oh, sorry, I got off topic again.
They should still have the 30th anniversary edition of Transformers: The Movie if you know where to look. The animation will surprise you since it is over thirty years old but the action is still pretty good. They even had celebrities--at the time--voice many of the new characters just to make it extra special.

Did... Did I READ that correctly? A DOZEN characters? TEN MINUTES in? And considering these special guidelines with TV shows I have to wonder how Hasbro gets around those now, as I hear Transformers Prime featured a surprising amount of onscreen death. And you know what, I can live with them killing off a few characters for dramatic effect, yeah it sucks, but sometimes killing off a character is a good way to show the impact of the situation, but that only really has that effect when characters people actually like are killed. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but maybe if they toned down the death dial just slightly it wouldn't be a problem. Have those new characters there if you want to, but there's no reason there Isn't room for both the old and new toys.
You heard me correctly. I'd go into further details but you should watch the movie for yourself. I know that it's been available now for just over thirty years now but I don't want to spoil too much. The guidelines have changed in recent years though Transformers Prime was also intended for an older audience so the rating was increased to around Y7 or PG--I'm not sure which one it is.
The characters killed in the movie were among the most popular in the series.

So, conjecture based on the toys for the upcoming specials
in Equestria Girls
These EQG Mini figures could just be a means of showing how the characters could be portrayed doing a variety of things that don't necessarily have to do with the movies or the upcoming specials, a sort of "what-if" scenario that allow us to see what they can do in a given occupation. If the figures do have a significant connection to the specials, then we're being given plenty of character development all at once. And yes, I like the fact that Starlight and Daring Do have figures. We've seen fanart depicting both as humans and now we have an idea as to what they would officially look like.
