  1. The most recent character that got revealed earlier is certainly interesting, though you have to wonder what other new characters are going to end up looking like. You also have to wonder if the regular characters will have smaller roles so that these new characters can get as much screen time as possible.

  2. Wow, talk about a case of fictional death drama. And here I was thinking Hasbro were too kid friendly and stuff to even consider killing off characters in their shows.

They couldn't do it in the actual show itself due to having to follow American broadcasting standards regarding animation, yet such standards don't apply to movies. As such, they got away with killing a lot of Autobots and Decepticons, some died in rather gruesome manners. There was also the swearing incident that came from Spike, the human friend of the Autobots.

  3. I don't see how there could be controversy there but OK, I'll roll with it.

To promote the season three toy line that was being produced, they decided to kill off characters from the first two season toy lines who had been there since the start. Some were killed in such stupid ways, they border on the line of sheer absurdity. Other characters were killed by being blasted in places where in the show, they got hit in the same places and survived. A few were killed off-screen without any explanation. Optimus' death was the worst case in that fans/parents sent Hasbro tons of letters--some addressed to Optimus directly--complaining that he was killed.

  4. I want them to show us Vanhoover, a city that's on the western coast of Equestria according to the map. Another place I'd like them to show us is the Equestrian version of Hollywood which I think was shown in the comics one time.

  5. The fandom is still pretty active given how many different fan projects have been popping up in recent months. I'll admit that it isn't as active as it was say back in 2011-2012, but it's better than the alternative which would be a massive drop until only the most diehard of fans were left. I think the fandom has reached a stable footing that will see people coming and going but not on a large scale, and will continue on this path for quite some time.

  6. A lot of the animated franchises I like don't have movies associated with them, and many happen to be extremely niche in that they are known either in the U.K. or were from the 1980s. I'm a big fan of Thundercats--the 1980s version and not the 2011 one--as I practically grew up with it, Transformers, Danger Mouse--original and reboot--a British cartoon, etc.

  7. Neighbours across the street helped me and my dad shovel our driveway this past Sunday much to my surprise. I didn't even know they were doing it until I came back from shovelling the path down the side of our house and in the back garden.

  8. Currently playing Pokémon Sun and raising a generation seven team though it's obvious that I need to get certain items so that the process doesn't take longer. I also plan on resuming Hyrule Warriors: Legends as I still need to complete the remaining Adventure Mode maps.

  9. Considering how ponies freak out upon seeing evil that threatens their land, it actually makes sense for an organization to cover it up and pretend that it never happened. Of course, they would need to get their hooves dirty if they learn some ponies still insist that something happened, and use subtle means to quiet everything down before it gets out of control. I suspect Celestia either allows S.M.I.L.E. to do what it wants so long as they give her a general gist of what's going on, or she is closely tied to them and insists they cover up events that involve evil beings.

  10. Well, that is understandable. He is pretty much one of the biggest icons of the brand, if you've heard of Transformers, you've probably at least heard Prime's name.

Optimus is the face of Transformers. As soon as anyone mentions the word "Transformers" in that context, Optimus is the first character people will think of. The reason I say Hasbro follows this rule has to do with the controversy surrounding the 1986 movie.

  11. Any kind of breathing impairment is instant nightmare fuel to me. Like the thought of drowning scares the crap outta. Its not even the "death" that scares me but the lasting pain and mental horror that goes through your mind during it is what scares me. I've choked on things before too and once when I was alone it was the most harrowing 20 seconds on my life. The idea of being all alone choking and not having anyone to help for me is probably my biggest fear.

I may not suck on coins anymore, but I do have other fears that make me a nervous wreck everywhere I go. They come in the form of visions that make it hard for me to sleep at night as well as function during the day.

  12. I wouldn't stay for very long as I would immediately head over to Twilight's castle, ask her if I could use the portal, and go through it to the human world where Sunset and the others reside. I'd also become a younger human as opposed to my proper age allowing me to experience things all over again. Granted, it wouldn't be perfect as it would mean going through high school again, but I suppose some things just pose a problem.
