During the presentation, I decided that this console wasn't going to be a day one purchase. The launch line up is pretty shallow consisting of Mario Kart World, a tech demo that you have to pay for in order to get it, and third party games which got released on the competing systems months and even years ago. Then things really fell apart when the price was revealed, one which never appeared in the presentation which lead people to suspect that it was kept off on purpose.
The backlash revolving around the price of both the console and the games have only been getting louder with every passing day. Given recent political tensions as well, Nintendo is taking a huge gamble which has high signs of backfiring in their faces. This could end up becoming the Wii U all over again.
