And so the final season begins and with it the conclusion of many story arcs that have blossomed throughout the years.

So if I send my responses through a PM on this user page, I should be fine, right?
That is correct.

You might have to speak to Jeric or Pathfinder about this.

oh nice, my PM is by the right one now, yay!
You can thank Jeric for doing some magic of his own behind the scenes.

Sunset Sushi... as a pony and without the outfit. No, this isn't suggestive or anything of the sort. It's just pony Sunset with her mane styled if she were working at her job.
Sunset and Adagio once again from the usual person who draws these. What's going on here this time? I don't know but Sunset's thought bubble is enough to provide an explanation.
Hugs are nice. Nothing wrong with them at all.
The Rainbooms in their new outfits from Spring Breakdown. As you know by now, anything from a new episode, short, special, or whatever, be it from FiM or EQG has to have a spoiler tag until one week has passed since its airing. After that, then such a tag isn't necessary. I think you know what this means now.
SpoilerSunset and Adagio again but from a different artist. I think I'll let the pic speak for itself.
This would make for an interesting alternate outfit.
And now come the screenshots from Spring Breakdown, beginning with this obvious one of what can be seen as part of a memorable sequence.
SpoilerAnd this one.

Welp apparently @Discord is also a staff acc, so we are supposed to not to worry that or Trivias never reach there target. I hope staff is right and didn't confused it up with a 3rd Discord or something...
Okay, I've taken a look at both Discord accounts and it turns out that the one you need to send your questions to is the one that you have right there. I know it's confusing and not exactly what we had in mind when this trivia was being made, but this Discord account is the right one.
Because of this unfortunate confusion, I'm going to extend the trivia deadline for everyone by one additional day. You have until Friday evening as opposed to tomorrow evening to submit your questions.

There are two Discord's in the system that the PM would probably confuse it with, but I'll believe you
Lord Valtasar fixed my initial post by providing the correct Discord to send your 'questions' to.
5 minutes ago, Bas said:Wonder if I can have an extension to do this during the weekend? I am at my first week at my new job LOL.
Extensions are usually given on special cases. Since I run the trivia, that leaves it up to me to make the final decision... once I've discussed it with the other EC's. I've yet to refuse anyone wanting an extension but I can only provide it once per trivia per person and only for about a couple of days.

If they remember that such Pokémon exist then I'm sure they will figure something out.

For those who haven't seen it yet, the Chaos Appreciation Day Trivia is now up and running for the next four days. Unfortunately, it wasn't spared the chaotic whims of Discord so it will definitely test your resolves.

Oh god, making questions instead of finding answers? I really hope i get this right, not want my streak to end because i have to make questions for answers
Chaos is currently all over the forums and not even the trivia is safe from it. Like I said, if you're familiar with Jeopardy, this isn't as bad as it looks.

Welcome to the Chaos Appreciation Day on the MLP Forums.
It seems that not even the trivia event is safe from the chaotic nature of Discord. But, I must persevere and present you a trivia with a twist that only the Master of Chaos himself could've come up with in his bid to make the forums that more crazy. There is a badge that can be awarded here but the question is can you answer... with questions?
The twist is this. Normally, you would be given questions and need to find the answers, but this time you've been given the answers and need to seek out the questions. Is it confusing you already? Well, Discord is known for doing that. Think of this trivia as playing a game of Jeopardy only without any money, Daily Doubles, and so on. The answers have been written in a way where there is only one solution as opposed to multiple ones. Believe me, you'll thank me for that as had we gone with the multiple route... let's just say that things would've become even more chaotic than they already are.
Send your 'questions' to @Discord though expect him to be chaotic in his responses to you. Again, send them to @Discord.
How many 'answers' do we have here? I can see many of them but here comes another twist in the greater game. All of these answers are bonuses which means you need to provide the questions for about... I'd say half of them. Oh, and the answers below aren't in any particular order, so there's that.
Hints are available if you need them but be careful as they could be even more confusing, or they might be helpful. I did say that this trivia wasn't safe from Discord's shenanigans. Finally, you've got the standard four days to complete this before the thread is locked.
Let's get started.
1. Captain Wuzz.
2. Sugar Belle's wagon wheel.
3. 'You see, this is the first rule of our game: no flying, and no magic. The second rule is everypony has to play or the game is over, and I win. Good luck, everypony!'
4. The Smooze.
5. The Pink Heart of Courage.
6. A balloon animal.
7. Normality.
8. 'To fill in for Twilight, of course, as head-draconequus. I seem to recall a whole song about how this school is where you make your own rules. Now, who better at that than me?'
9. Blue Flu.
10. Plunder Seeds.
11. 'A bit reindeer ex machina, but... two thumbs way up! Woo!'
12. A statue.
13. Perfect tea party.
14. Winterchilla.
15. A candle.
16. 'A cuddle with a Pekingese. A singing harp who's named Louise. A goat on skis, a new trapeze. And more and more and more and more of these.'

Time to continue doing what I do in this fan club.
Obligatory Sunset swimsuit image but she's a pony and is with Twilight.
And now for the human equivalent minus Twilight.
SpoilerLet's have a group shot now.
A slightly different take on the moment where Sunset and Celestia would reunite.
For those who don't know, Sunset is cosplaying as Catra from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

If the magic can be controlled properly then it can be allowed to exist in the human world. Granted, that isn't an easy task given that the magic has proven to be unpredictable especially when compared to how it operates in Equestria. Then again, as some have said, the question could be given an answer when they finally give Equestria Girls its eventual final conclusion that wraps everything up.

I'm beginning to see why this special wasn't hyped up all that much in comparison to previous exploits involving Equestria Girls. I suspect that the writers might not have been too confident about this one seeing as it does have problems which are blatantly obvious, but then, this is common with both EQG and Friendship is Magic, so I really can't use that as an excuse.
After having just finished watching this special, the problems mainly revolve around the first half. Suffice to say, it dragged on way too long for its own good and it became very cringe inducing until we got to the island. Rainbow Dash didn't help matters what with how she behaved--I've not yet seen how Equestria Daily reacted to her portrayal but I suspect that they didn't like it--and while she did mellow out in the second half, the first half gave her quite the negative perception. Looking for adventure is fine and all but not if it means sacrificing happiness and wanting to prove a point. Yes, they are superheroes, but Rainbow went about it in a way that shows perhaps the Rainbooms may not be the heroic type. I will give props to the first half providing some character development, new characters, gags, and the usual shenanigans. On the other hand, if I were to watch this special again, I'd be doing myself a favour by skipping straight to the island, as that is where things truly pick up.
Other portals to Equestria... surprised it took them this long to reveal such information, but then it was to be expected. I loved the scenes in Equestria, from Sci-Twi freaking out over being a pony, Sunset guiding them around Ponyville in such a ridiculous manner, to everyone interacting in Princess Twilight's throne room. Those are perhaps the most iconic moments along with what turned out to be the problem, namely, leftover magic courtesy of the Storm King. I liked this approach as it meant no one got corrupted by Equestrian Magic and the events of the movie are now canon with Equestria Girls. Even the Staff of Sarcanas made an appearance--surprised that Princess Twilight decided to keep it around instead of simply destroying it due to how it came into existence. Continuity did take a slight blow due to Spike apparently not having his wings which means this special occurred either before season eight began or during the first episodes of that season before Spike gained wings.
That conclusion... You know, the one at the very end where Sunset brought the passengers and crew to Equestria. I wish this scene had been given a slightly longer sequence as it felt like it ended way too quickly and would've made for one heck of an ending. But, I do appreciate actually getting something, but more importantly, it means that multiple people have now made their way into Equestria through no fault of their own. This is something that can be expanded on given what we saw so hopefully it can be taken advantage of in the future. One last thing before I wrap this up. Sunset still has guilt over her actions in the first movie due to being the one who brought magic into the human world. The idea she could simply move on wasn't very realistic so having her reminisce about such things makes her flawed rather than being perfect at practically everything.
I'm sure I overlooked a lot here but I think I'll leave things at that.
Overall... I have to give this special a 75%.

One day, this fan club will become the stuff of legends. Anyway, on with my usual contribution.
Now that is a nice bike. It makes sense seeing as Sunset was involved in the motocross portion of the Tri-Cross Relay during Friendship Games.
I think you all knew I would be the one to share this next one. Equestria Girls crossing over with 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild'. The game itself is way too expansive for an actual fanfiction to be written about it but this is perhaps the closest we can get to seeing who would be portraying who.
Sunset wearing a cheongsam. How do I know it's proper name? It's a secret.
Now Sunset knows what makes Twilight truly happy.
Lastly for this group, we have this particular pic.

I'll simply let the pieces fall where they may and go at it from there. It might not be the most ideal solution but for someone who prefers to take a neutral stance on most things--as far as people are concerned--this suits me well.

There are some dual type combinations that we've yet to see so the chances of them being used in Sword and Shield are pretty good.

I must keep this fan club going, and what better way than to start off with an awkward moment. This is hidden due to vulgarity.
SpoilerWhile I would have appreciated this one being in full colour, I can accept it for what it is.
The chibi style adds to the overall charm here.
It looks like muscles have become all the rage now.
It may be anthropomorphic but you have to admit that it looks really good.
SpoilerObligatory Sunset swimsuit image.

This would be known as retconning though to a slight extent. Also, different writers have different takes on characters, resulting in certain concepts not meshing well together due to some creative differences. Because of this, continuity becomes blurry resulting in retconning being needed even for superficial ideas.
-
Character designs are something that will always cause a division. Some people will like them while others won't with everyone else being in the middle where they don't particularly care so long as they enjoy what they're watching. Me? I did find the designs awkward at first but I attribute that to the animators not being familiar with them. They have improved immensely over time so now I appreciate such designs. Not all of them are winners but I can also appreciate experimentation even when it doesn't quite work out as intended.

Would the girls be more likely to get hearing loss?
in Equestria Girls
If they were to suffer from hearing loss, it could prove to be problematic in certain situations. Also, it would make things awkward which is something either the writers themselves or Hasbro would prefer avoiding. Then again, this is an animated cartoon and we've seen that particular rules aren't applied.
