Apparently it's been seven years since these forums were founded.
I'd like to congratulate the community on this milestone – after all these years, they're still going strong, which is no mean feat! 
While I've personally been here for a relatively short time, the times I've had here are something I'm very grateful for – I never expected it to be anywhere near this amazing. I'd like to thank everyone for this experience – the community is the most wonderful I've ever been in, and it's thanks to all of you! Here's to another seven years of fun... no, make that seventy!

@Rixton I agree, it's promising for the future of the fandom that it has had such an effect on various people (to the extent that many people stay in the fandom even after losing interest in the show itself). I hope the fandom survives even after the show no longer gets new episodes – and I'm sure many people will try their best to make sure that happens.

@Tacodidra I will do my best, even now, I am working on my short series (ok...nothing is posted since a year, because I needed to mo lots of modelling in order to continue), and really hope it will be on the helping side.
