I used to, but I stopped a few years ago. I never really won anything – that's obviously the case for most people, but it always just left me more annoyed.

I'm not the biggest fan of Prince Blueblood. But if EqG counts, my least favorite character is definitely Principal Cinch. For most characters, there's at least something positive I can say about them (usually the character design if nothing else), but Cinch has an unlikable personality, one of my least favorite character designs in G4, and I don't even find her a particularly interesting villain. I guess her song was alright, but even that isn't one of the MLP songs I keep returning to.

And then I set out to improve my results on all the songs... I didn't play last year's edition much, so I got four stars on those two songs for the first time (I think I only got three last year). Soon I had four stars on all the songs. I tried easy mode too, and getting five stars there wasn't much of a challenge. But I didn't want to leave it at that!

Five stars on "Winter Wrap Up" – something I couldn't do two years ago! And the star goes to Twilight, my original best pony for a week or so.

And after a bit of playing...

I think this is it for me – I might be able to get small improvements on some of these, but I'm definitely happy with five stars.

Oh, how come?  I tested it on Win10 / Firefox and it seemed to work fine. What exactly broke? The audio?  I think the more songs I add, the more problematic it becomes. 

Hey, these actually are decent scores! The effort you've put into collecting stars for Coco in the previous years totally paid off!  

I have no idea... Sometimes it gets stuck on loading music, sometimes on loading sounds – I let it load for a couple of minutes, but nothing happened. I don't think it has to do with the "cooldown" either, as it does the same on the first attempt, sometimes even managing to load a bit more on the second attempt.

Thanks! I might have to give it some more tries – I still remember how great it felt to go from a negative score to 93.01% and four stars.

For whatever reason, I couldn't get this to work on Windows 10/Firefox at all (something that didn't happen with the earlier versions of the game). My Windows 11 laptop did better, thankfully.

First attempts on a worse keyboard – not really the best (I messed up the start of "Rules of Rarity" pretty badly!), but it could have been worse, thinking about my early attempts a couple of years ago.

I might be biased, but Porky definitely wins this for me. And Petunia too, especially after seeing "The Day the Earth Blew Up".

"Show Me Your Pony Moves" is my definite favorite in G5, so catchy!

My favorite background pony is Strawberry Scoop – so cute, and who doesn't like ice cream?

I think she definitely counts here – while she has some fan art, there's very little compared to the popular ones, she wasn't named officially (even Gameloft just calls her "Fancy Friendship Student"), never had a speaking role... She deserved a lot better.

My second favorite is another friendship student, Fuchsia Frost. Yeah, food cutie marks for the win!

It reminds me of how Disney stopped making traditionally animated features after a couple of flops. But these companies don't seem to realize it might have had something to do with the films in question rather than the medium. "Space Jam: A New Legacy" had terrible reviews, and nostalgia for the original movie seems to be very much a generational thing (it's not that popular among people that got into the Looney Tunes thanks to the original shorts), so I'm surprised it did as well as it did. And years of only being available on cable networks or streaming in the U.S. has hurt the franchise a lot – for decades, everyone knew the characters, but that no longer seems to be the case.

If IMDb is to be trusted, WB only released it themselves in Germany and sold it to other distributors elsewhere (like Ketchup in the U.S. and Lucky Red in Italy). I guess it couldn't find a distributor in the countries where it wasn't released at all. Including Finland – it feels weird considering how popular the Looney Tunes used to be here, and even the Space Jam sequel did decently.

Trixie is often listed as "Trixie Lulamoon" in the credits for EqG-related productions (but not in FIM). The Lulamoon name was used in some merchandise, but she was never referred to by this name in any scene.

I haven't tried them. I've never believed in supernatural stuff, so I wouldn't really have any objections to using one (but I don't find it that interesting in any case).

I don't have kids, but I definitely wouldn't do that unless there were very significant benefits to it. The same goes for getting one myself. It's a very dystopian idea to me.

The Hot & Spicy flavor is my favorite, among the best chips I've had.

I got a tube of a new flavor today – spicy crayfish. Being a fan of chili chips in general, this immediately became a strong challenger. From what I can find, it's only officially sold in China, but thankfully some specialist shops import them.

Having watched these, they're no worse than what was released officially – I actually think there has been an increase in quality in the later TYT shorts (both released and unreleased). I'm glad we were able to see these!

But at the same time, I can't deny I'm annoyed at Hasbro's treatment of G5. Assuming there's no unreleased MYM content, what they did to TYT was even worse than that series' cancellation. Leaving two essentially finished episodes unreleased (adding sound effects and music shouldn't be a huge task after the animation and voice acting were already done) is both insulting to the show crew and fans and nonsensical from a financial point of view.

I've never trick-or-treated, Halloween has only really been celebrated here in the last decade or so. And I don't think a lot of kids do that now either.

Yay, it's back!

I'm sure I'll improve a lot on my first attempt like I did last time, but here's my first attempt – once again, it'll take me a while to learn not to spam the keys too much.

I often had my laptop's volume at 7 when I used my old headphones – the new ones are a lot quieter, so I usually have it at 30. So I guess I have no problem with either odd or even.

I don't think Nickelback is as bad as a lot of people say – I find them quite average (with a couple of songs I like).

Though I've never really gone through either discography in detail, I've liked many more songs from the Foo Fighters, so it's an easy choice for me.

That picture reminds me of my early days here – such fun times with the hoof patches and all kinds of randomness.

This was a very positive surprise for me – TYT has been hit and miss for me, but this might be my second favorite episode to date after "As the Misty Clears". With Allura's appearance, it had higher stakes, and even the gags were better than usual – Izzy repeatedly taking the fruit baskets to the cave was a simple idea but worked well. I hope to see more episodes of this quality! Some of the audio mixing could have been better (a couple of lines were drowned out by the music), but no other significant flaws here.

Not surprised to see the writing credit for Tom Gidman – his episodes and those written by Jessica Silcock and Naomi Smith have almost always stood out.
