    When I was little, I was always so fascinated with cutaways and schematic side views and what not. It was like an ant farm, minus the evil monstrosities that are ants.

      I was much the same - although I found ants fascinating as well.

      I remember a really good book I read when I was younger called 'Deep Down Under Ground' - it had all kinds of fascinating underground facts, from dinosaur skeletons to the Channel Tunnel.

      There is a simple satisfaction in some things. I always spent ages looking at dioramas in museums as well; battle remade in miniature fascinated me, and was one of the reasons I got into wargaming later on:

    So, my PC died this morning, just straight up. Spent the better part of the day out trying to get to bestbuy for a PSU. Six hours later, back in business!! and 100 bucks poorer >.<
