  1. I think the fact Jesse Ventura of all people is being labelled an SJW by some clowns on YouTube only because he's voiced support for gay marriage and abortion rights (which I think is really only rational to support) should be an indication of how far right and far gone this country has become. Heck, my DAD would be called an SJW then, and HE IS A TRUMP SUPPORTER. Pretty damn far from what an SJW is REALLY like.

Funny that some of these same people say they like old "real" conservatives, but if they REALLY knew them, they'd immediately conflate those same people to Karl Marx. Seriously, what if I told you that Dwight D. Eisenhower, a REPUBLICAN president, had believed STRONGLY in Single Payer Healthcare and has also said that not believing in such in his time was considered to make you so far right as to be totally off-base?

Good lord, I'm on the right and respect/love Jesse Ventura. I think some folks are taking the SJW label a bit too far, especially if some are lumping Ventura in that category. Guess it won't be long before Ron Paul gets called one.

I don't agree with all of his positions, but that's fine. I'm anti-war, pro-environment, and support ending the drug war so there's a fair amount of overlap. There's probably more, but that might turn into an research paper.

Old "real" conservatives, that sounds like Sen. Robert Taft (cool dude, btw). An anti-war conservative. Pretty sure most Republicans/modern conservatives would dismiss him.  :dash:

I thought he was actually generally considered more like what's considered a libertarian. I'm a left-wing version of that and agree with most of the things he says. There's probably a few stances of his I may not agree on entirely, but I definitely have a lot of respect because most everything he says is perfectly reasonable and supported by sound logic. He's also not some sort of snowflake that abuses his history in the Armed Forces to get offended when people express their freedom of speech/freedom of expression. A lot of his logic also seems to stem from very consistent principles he rarely if ever strays from.
