    I just accidentally ruined one of my Minecraft worlds that I've been working on for hours each day since Christmas (I made a ton of progress during that time period). I'm not too upset, just a little discouraged that I lost all that progress.

      I know that pain. I've lost my fair share of worlds to corrupted files and stupid decisions. Then I started backing up my saves every few sessions.

      @FestiveEnergy What exactly happened? @Totally Not Kion I've had some problems with that too but then I found out you can at least get the map back of corrupted worlds, it took me a while to search how to though

      @Mellow Mane The world wasn't deleted, but it was a survival-only world that I accidentally switched to creative, so it is no longer survival-only and I can no longer earn achievements in it. My progress in it was lost because all I did before can now simply be done in creative in that world for much less time.
