Does this mean we’re both cursed too because we looked this band up? 

If you want a band with probably a sad at heart story, that be Fuel from Pennsylvania.  They had hit albums known as Sunburn and Something Like Human.  But when the 3rd album came out, Brett (the original vocalist) had something happen where he could no longer sing to the phenomenal level he once packed.  The drummer was fired by Carl (the guitarist), Brett left because he complained the entire band wasn't writing songs.  Fuel brought in Toryn for the 4th album to sing, but it wasn't the same for everyone.  

In 2009, Brett reformed Fuel (no Carl involved) to record Puppet Strings.  But I don't think Brett's voice fully recovered to the way we remember it.  Several years later, from what I've heard, Fuel disbanded again as Brett no longer wanted anything to do with music.  Enter the 2020s, Carl (the guitarist) reformed Fuel again with a 3rd different vocalist and made an album weirdly described as Anomaly.  Too worried to hear what this new vocalist sounds like.  

Sunburn art is wicked while Something Like Human art is awesome.  Brett had a way to grow long hair and then change it to tall upward and grow a mustache
