  1. @Illiad Easle "Yeah, Equestria is huge! Like, Canterlot is huge, but there are, like, so many more cities that are just as large as Canterlot in Equestria! Say, how many ponies are there in Equestria?" Speckle asked the tour guide. "20 million," Guard Clipper replied. "Is that including bat ponies and thestrals?" "Including." "Oh wow, that's a lot of ponies..." "Hmm, I heard it's like this really big fancy party, but other than that, I'm not really sure..." Speckle explained. She turned to the guide to elaborate. "Sure, the Grand Galloping Gala is an annual royal ball held to celebrate the construction of Canterlot after Equestria was founded. It's known as a major and very formal event, however, it is quite exclusive, requiring a golden ticket to attend. The princesses make a presence there, in addition to all the major high-class ponies throughout Equestria. However, most of these ponies already preside in Canterlot. And sometimes, individual council members also attend this event. In addition, while it is supposed to be a very formal event, it seems that in recent years, something the event turns into a major disaster each time somehow..." If there weren't any other questions about the gala or the ballroom, the guide would then lead the group towards the royal guard station, pointing out various meeting rooms and other rooms the princesses use when interacting with the public. "Here are the guard barracks. This is where the royal guards live and train," Guard Clipper explained, gesturing to a field by the castle where some of Clipper's colleagues could be seen training. Guard Clipper would spot her presiding officer and salute them.
  2. "Well, I'm definitely not in tune with the spiritual world... But I'll still try to help in whichever way I can," Swift Wings replied. They would wait for Evelyn's instructions and follow along with whatever she was doing.
  3. @CocoCody @Props Valroa "Oh I see. We'll refer to you as Magnolia then," Velvet replied, a slight disappointment briefly flashing across her face. "I'm curious, what is the significance behind that name?" Night Light asked. Twilight shifted slightly when Magnolia leaned on her. While Magnolia was very soft, she did find it a bit uncomfortable for somepony she barely met to lean on her like that, even if that pony was a family member. "Well you're welcome to stay with us! We have a guest bedroom upstairs that we could turn into yours. While we clearly want you to stay with us, we're more interested in finding out and letting you do what you want to do," Velvet offered. "I know Canterlot has a very sophisticated culture compared to other cities in Equestria. If you're looking for something more simple, perhaps you could find a place to stay in Ponyville? That is the town where I live. It's a simple farming town whose culture focuses more on simplicity and practicality. However, it is a short train-ride away from Canterlot for when you want to visit," Twilight suggested. ===== Lyra would hug Starlight in response. "Ok hear me out: what if the town was run through a direct democracy? And where all ponies are..." Lyra began. "...ponies are created equal, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness?" Lemon Hearts finished. She giggled. "Lyra, you're literally always talking about that!" "I would be interested in meeting Sunburst. Maybe we could go meet him together," Moondancer offered. "Gah!" Lyra exclaimed as she fell off the couch giggling. "Hey no fair!" As soon as she got back onto her hooves, she would set up a magical shield as defense, then cast several magical hands to tickle Starlight back. "Nopony out tickles Lyra!" she exclaimed, trying to get back at Starlight. "Bruh, you do realize you're talking to alumni from the leading university on magic and magical research? And that I'm one of the leading researchers for time magic at said university? I've practically seen every major time spell that has ever existed," Minuette explained nonchalantly. "Anyways, you mentioned Starswirl? Alright, so we're talking about time travel spells that bring the pony casting it into the past before returning them to the present, except in their new timeline. Ok then. It's interesting to see how the understanding of time travel and timelines has evolved in the magic community. What makes you interested in time travel spells?" Minuette asked as she nonchalantly summarized Starswirl's research in time magic while hiding the details she couldn't speak about in open company.
  4. @Illiad Easle "Oh I see," Speckle replied. She wasn't sure if she could keep track of everything accurately, and she hoped that maybe when she visited Nova's town, it would make more sense how everything worked. "Yeah that is strange... I mean, I know the two princesses are powerful, but I don't think they would be able to run everything in Equestria, right?" Speckle pondered. "How do the princesses run everything?" Speckle asked the guide. "That's a great question. The princesses don't run everything. While they are both extrordinarily powerful, they can't keep track of everything going on in Equestria all the time. Due to that, there is a counsel of ponies who each control a different part of the government that the Princesses work closely with. And with Princess Luna and Princess Celestia being the public-facing part of the government, this council of ponies doesn't interact with the public. I'll point out their section of the castle when we pass by it, but we can't enter for obvious reasons. Both the council and the princesses have important roles to play to make sure all of Equestria runs smoothly," Guard Clipper explained. "Huh, so it sounds like it's a mix of an Elder and an Order for a government?" Speckle asked Nova. "Princess Celestia is a very kind and caring leader. She wants all of her subjects to have happy and fulfilling lives and that any concerns they have feel heard. Some of the most important roles she does as Princess, in addition to running day court are raising and lowering the sun, setting goals for the Equestrian government, and establishing relationships with other nations. As for what she's like personally, while being in the presence of her can be quite intimidating, she's very friendly and is very open to talk about anything," the tour guide explained. "You talk all these positives about the princess, but as a royal guard tour guide, are you allowed to say anything negative about her?" one of the tour members asked. "Princess Celestia values protecting fair criticism, but talking about her like this here and now would be extraordinarily unprofessional of me," Guard Clipper replied. By then, the group was finished with observing the day court, so Guard Clipper lead the group to the ball room, passing by and pointing out the wing of the castle where the councel worked along the way. "This is the ball room where many formal events are hosted. One of the most notable events that happens here is the Grand Galloping Gala," Clipper explained.
  5. Hmm, yeah, I saw the message as well. I guess I was kind of torn about whether it makes sense to do the RP while Props is on hiatus. Especially given that currently, in the RP, the characters are in separate locations doing separate things. However, what do you two think?
  6. @Props Valroa "So you like action and adventure?" Scootaloo asked, buzzing her wings excitedly as she glanced at Lazulia. "So you could see yourself doing scooter tricks? Or ziplining? Or bungee jumping? Because I think all of those ideas are so cool!" "I suppose I could add my understanding of cutie marks here. I feel like when you get your cutie mark in something, it has to be something that you can see yourself doing. For example, the thrill of skydiving both terrifies and excites me. However, I could never see myself doing that frequently or see it as my cutie mark, if that makes sense," Skylight explained. "Speaking of what you like, based on the activities we've done so far, when creating things, do you prefer something more creative, like Sweetie Belle, or something more straightforward, like me?" Apple Bloom asked. "Because in a sense, both of us like making things. For me, I like brainstorming songs and expressing myself through various arts. Apple Bloom, on the other hoof, likes making potions and carpentry and other stuff with clear instructions," Sweetie Belle added.
  7. "I see," Swift Wings replied. Well, I hope I can help in any way I can. I know I don't know that much about this stuff, but I hope I can figure this out as I go along. Maybe I can use some of my investigation skills in the physical world..." "Wait, so they just spent the whole night running around, scaring each other in an abandoned castle in the middle of the forest? That's weird..." Swift Wings commented.
  8. @Props Valroa @CocoCody "I see. So you're saying you feel this way because when you got your cutie mark, you didn't get accepted into Celstia's School for Gifted Unicorns even though both your and his cutie marks relate to being talented in magic? Feel free to correct me here or add more nuance," Lemon Hearts asked. "Great!" Lyra replied, instantly perking up and switching back to her usual cheerful attitude. "As long as you're trying and putting in the effort, we'll help you along the way." "We're just trying to understand where your relationship with Sunburst and the village you're currently leading is in order to know you as a friend," Lemon Hearts explained. "And with an understanding of the values of friendship, you can determine what you want your relationship to be with those ponies moving forward and how to achieve it." The rest of the group nodded in agreement. With the mood of the room significantly lighter, the group of unicorns switched to discussing magic. They would ask Starlight what kinds of hand spells and time spells she was thinking about, in addition to asking her to go into depth about how she uses them. "What kind of hand/time spells?" Lyra and Minuette would ask, respectively. ===== Twilight, upon hearing this reply, would smile as she started tearing up again. Once again, the family was pulled into a hug as they cried together. After several minutes of letting their tears and emotions out, Night Light would dry his eyes before asking, "Ok, I'm so glad you've given us a chance. I suppose this is when we try to figure out what our relationship should be. For example, do you want us to call you Moonlight? Should we refer to you as our child? What should we know about you?" Night Light asked. "Feel free to answer or add whatever you feel comfortable talking about. And you're free to change your mind about any of this later. I know this has been a day of major and unexpected change for all of us," Velvet added.
  9. Wait is it my turn to reply? Sorry things have been kind of chaotic recently.
  10. @Props Valroa @CocoCody "Hmm, well it sounds like you're upset that Sunburst's cutie mark caused him to leave to leave you behind. However, it wasn't his cutie mark that prevented you from writing to him or visiting him in Canterlot, was it? Or is there something else that contributed to this?" Twinkleshine questioned. "And sometimes, it's the differences that make friendships special. With this, everypony brings their unique perspective, strengths, and skills to the group. For example, look at our group. Minuette uses her magic to manipulate time in just the right way to allow us to meet up often, Lyra is always cracking some human joke, and Moondancer, while being quieter than the rest of us, offers really deep insight," Lemon Hearts explained, responding to Lyra's snicker when Starlight said hands. "For me, it really hurt when Twilight left me. She meant a lot to me, and I thought she didn't care about me anymore. Due to that, I stopped making friends and ignored the friends that continued to care about me. It was awful, and I spent as much time away from others as I could. However, as my friends have shown, I shouldn't have let that prevent me from making friends," Moondancer explained, which caused the rest of the friend group to nuzzle her. "For the rest of us, we can't really say, because while it did hurt when Twilight left, we had each other to rely on. I suppose it did make us hang on to each other more tightly, but that demonstrates the difference in what we did: we leaned into our friendships. And sometimes, it's best to be able to have your friends help you work through your problems," Twinkleshine explained. "It sounds to me like you're underestimating the relationship between friendship and magic. And if you've seen anything that Twilight has done with her friends, you'll know what I mean. Like first, she went to Ponyville, became friends with some of the ponies there, learned the magic of friendship, and now she goes around with her friends blasting villains with rainbow lasers of friendship! And then she decided to reconnect with her university friends here in Canterlot, learned the friendship of magic, and now we go around blasting villains with rainbow lasers of magic!" Minuette exclaimed excitedly. "Starlight, that pessimism won't get you anywhere. Thinking that everypony else is evil is going to make everypony you meet avoid you. And thinking this way is the reasoning used to justify doing bad things to other ponies, which is the opposite of friendship. Yes, you do have to open up and put yourself out there when making friends, and that can hurt, but shutting yourself away hurts as well. If you want to be friends with us, we cannot accept this doomerism attitude of yours. If not, you're free to leave. We can only be friends with you as much as you want to be friends with us. The choice is yours," Lyra offered. She glanced at Starlight with a surprisingly serious face. ===== "I see." Twilight replied after a few minutes of crying. "It seems that like Moondancer and Starlight, you had some bad interactions with others when you were young, and because of that, you'd keep your distance from others and prefer to rely solely on yourself. However, would you be willing to be friends with my university friends, my parents, and me?" Twilight offered. "I can tell that my parents really genuinely care about you." "We'd love to care for you and be your friends. However, even if you don't want anything to do with us, at least give Twilight's university friends a chance," Velvet offered. "So now that we understand what happened, what do you want to do? Either decision you make, my parents and I would support you here," Twilight asked Moonlight
  11. @Illiad Easle "Uuh, I mean, I suppose that makes sense..." Speckle pondered. She always got the feeling that pony species were more complicated than she was being told, but this cultural exchange, while answering some questions, did raise more questions about how pony species worked. However, it wasn't that she was ungrateful; she loved learning things about Nova. "Oh, well that's an interesting coincidence. I'm pretty sure the tour guide of the city mentioned a Moondancer somewhere when we passed by Celestia's school. I wonder if Moondancer is a common name for those that do archiving or something... Would we get to meet your Moondancer when we visit your place?" Speckle asked. "Oh, um, I didn't mean to say it like that. I mean like, I know that my mom trains them and such, but I didn't know they did all these different things as well. I suppose I was just a little surprised at first. But I mean like, if a guard was also a tour guide, it would make sense that they would be friendly," Speckle explained, blushing at what she said earlier. It appeared that Clipper overheard part of this because she replied, "Oh yeah, I suppose some ponies here might have some questions about your tour guide being a royal guard. While some ponies assume that the royal guards here at this castle just stand around silently to guard the princesses, there's a lot more we do. For example, we also escort emissary visitors around, lead tours, and help manage crowds at the events that are held here. These are the most notable examples, but there are other things we do too," Guard Clipper explained. Speckle blushed, which caused Clipper to lean over and whisper to her "It's ok, I know a lot of ponies assume this. I'm not offended. It might seem like we're quite cold, but I promise most of us are actually quite friendly," Clipper winked. Speckle blushed even more. "I'm sorry young one, Princess Luna isn't available at this time. However, Princess Celestia is currently running day court in the throne room. Let us head there first," Clipper explained. She would then lean in to whisper to Nova. "However, I heard that you will be able to meet her at her favorite seafood restaurant in Thestral Market later this evening," Clipper winked. Guard Clipper would go on to explain how the rule of the two princesses worked, with Princess Celestia being active during the day, and Princess Luna being active at night. She would also mention some of the roles that are specific to each princess, such as Luna's ability to dream walk, before moving on to how day court worked. "As you can see, this room adjacent to the throne room is a place for ponies to observe the court when it is in session. Day court is a time when ponies can go to Princess Celestia and ask questions or suggest proposals. And then Princess Luna runs night court later in the evening. It appears that currently, everypony is debating about the tax system again," Clipper explained as she pointed towards the crowd by Princess Celestia in the throne room. "Does anypony have any questions about day court or anything else I've said so far?" Clipper asked. She would give some time for the tour group to observe day court in session and ask any questions. Speckle quite liked this tour guide more than the tour guide of the city. However, she wanted to see what questions Nova would ask before asking her own, so she looked over to the debate that was currently going on. It seemed quite interesting and kind of chaotic, and Princess Celestia was in the middle of it all, standing as regal as ever.
  12. @CocoCody @Props Valroa "Sure, we'd love to be your friends, but that means you'll have to answer some tough questions. We have some concerns about your goal to remove cutie marks from other ponies. Why are you doing this? Cutie marks are a crucial part of who a pony is, and without them, a pony would feel worthless. All of our cutie marks are really important to us, which is why talking about removing them to Twilight didn't give her the best first impression. She got the impression that you might try to remove her cutie mark. However, we want to hear your explanation, so why are you doing this?" Minuette asked. She looked at Starlight with a surprisingly serious expression. Lyra Heartstrings, Moondancer, Twinkleshine, and Lemon Hearts with a similarly serious expression. "Yeah we love new friends, but we gotta make sure our new friends don't cause any problems with our existing friends, you see. And if you're doing things like trying to take away ponies' cutie marks or starting cults in villages, that would be problematic. So hopefully we can sort this out," Twinkleshine added. ===== "Of course you're welcome here; we're family!" Velvet exclaimed. "Come in, make yourself comfortable." "Why didn't you tell me that I have an older sister?" Twilight asked as she walked inside. "Alright then, I suppose it's time you both hear this," Velvet said as she sat down on the couch in the living room and gestured to the rest of the family to do the same. She also set down a box of tissues for when everypony inevitably cried. "When I had my first pregnancy, Night Light and I were still dating. Both of us were still young at the time, and neither of us were ready to have foals. We had graduated from university recently, and we were only just getting settled with our new jobs and new home here in Canterlot. It was a very difficult decision, and all of the options were bad, but we decided that putting our foal up for adoption would be the least-worst option. While we did leave information for you if you went looking for us, by the time we had Twilight and Shining Armor, we assumed that you wanted nothing to do with us," Velvet explained to Moonlight. "To us, it didn't make sense to tell you about a sister that you would be very unlikely to meet. And so much time had passed, well, we weren't really sure how to tell you either," Night Light explained. "We're sorry we didn't tell you about this sooner. We hope you, both of you, can forgive us for this." Hearing this caused Twilight to cry, which in turn caused Velvet and Night Light to cry as they hugged each other (and Moonlight if she joined in) and took full advantage of the tissue box next to them.
  13. @Props Valroa "Oh wow, that's cool," Scootatloo replied. "Wait, living outside of the Crystal Empire isn't like, bad for you in any way, is it?" "Also, I suppose while we're here, why don't we reflect back on everything we've tried today. Like, what you like, what you don't like, what you're interested in or want to learn more about..." Sweetie Belle explained. She look out her notebook and began reviewing her notes. "For example, while the sky diving that we did at the beginning of the day was very exciting, I know that it wouldn't work well for me as my special talent," Skylight explained.
  14. Swift Wings, a little embarrassed about not knowing that much about supernatural creatures, would turn to ask Evelyn. "Uuh, what's a poltergeist? What kinds of signs should we be looking for?"
  15. @Illiad Easle "Yeah, that is strange. But I think the crystal ponies are quite interesting, too. Isn't it so cool that there are so many different species with so many different cultures here in Equestria? But why do you think that they would put the thestrals in the pegasus museum?" Speckle asked. "Ooh, who's Moondancer? I mean, I think I have heard of a Moondancer here in Canterlot, but I don't think that's the Moondancer you're talking about. And yeah, a university is kind of like a really big school. But I heard they also create new magic there, which is like totally crazy! Like, unicorns can create magic!? They must be like crazy powerful in order to do so. Your place sounds really cozy," Speckle remarked. "And as for museums, I heard rich ponies really like them for some reason? I don't know. But I think it's cool how they build these places where ponies and other species can learn about so many different things that are important to Canterlot and such, you know? I guess I'm just a little disappointed that we haven't seen anything for bat ponies and thestrals yet." "Ooh, that would be cool! I'll add that to the list of things we should do here," Speckle noted. It wasn't long before the group finished their lunch and left the Tasty Treat, continuing on their tour of Canterlot. The tour would pass through Pone Dupone Square, a major retail and shopping area, and Bel-Mare, one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Canterlot, before ending our tour at the Royal Castle. During the entire time, the tour guide would go into extensive detail about everything, while Speckle would remark about how fancy and extravagant the shops and homes were in these neighborhoods. "Woah, these shops and homes here are crazy! They're so fancy! Like, I know the ponies here in Canterlot are rich, but I didn't know they are that rich! What do you think makes them so rich?" Speckle would ponder out loud. Soon enough, the tour would end at the castle, where the pair would find a royal guard waiting to lead a tour of the place. Unlike the tour guide of the city, the royal guard didn't act surprised to see a thestral and a bat pony walk up to her. "Hello there, I'm Guard Clipper. I assume you're here for the tour of the Royal Castle? I know you all have a lot of questions, so why don't I ask, what are you most interested in seeing here at the Royal Castle? And what questions do you have for me?" "Oh my gosh, I didn't know royal guards could be so friendly and casual..." Speckle whispered to Nova.
  16. @CocoCody @Props Valroa Twilight abruptly paused by the doorway as a thought suddenly dawned on her. "Hey, uh, Starlight? It's probably best if only Magnolia and I visit my parents. We'll part ways for now, but I hope to see you again on the train to the Crystal Empire," Twilight explained. "You could stay with us," Minuette offered. "It sounds like you want to be friends with us, and it seems like you and Moondancer have connected quite quickly." Moondancer blushed at that remark as Twilight left Minuette's house with Magnolia. "I don't know about that. It seemed like Sunburst really struggled in that applied spellcasting class that I was in..." Twinkleshine remarked. "I haven't heard of Sunburst doing anything notable in the field of magic after graduation..." Lyra noted. "And trust us, we keep up with all the latest magical research," Minuette added. "But I don't think that matters. When Twilight ran off to Ponyville, she became an element of harmony and became friends with the other elements there. She had changed significantly, but we were still able to reconnect based on our history together," Moondancer explained. ===== Twilight would lead the way towards her parents' house silently, not quite sure what to say or how to prepare for something as life-changing as this. It wasn't long before the pair found themselves at their intended destination. Twilight would walk up to the front door and knock before stepping back. The sound of hoofsteps inside shuffling about was heard, and after about a minute, the door opened. "Twilight! What brings you here?" Twilight Velvet asked before noticing Moonlight. "I'm sorry, you look familiar, but I can't quite place my hoof on it... Hold on, Moonlight? Is that you? It's been so long! I didn't know if I would ever see you again. I hope you're doing ok." "Hey Velvet, who's at the door?" Night Light asked as he walked over. "Twilight and Moonlight!" Velvet exclaimed as she hugged them both. "Oh, hello Moonlight. It's been such a long time..." Night Light said to Moonlight as he would join in on the family hug.
  17. I see. Well if that is the case, then I suppose I would RP them. And I'll try to do so based on what you said.
  18. Well would you be interested in RPing them? I'm not really sure what is the history of Magnolia and her parents. Unless you want to explain the history to me?
  19. @Props Valroa How do you want to RP the part of Magnolia meeting her parents? How do you think her parents should react?
  20. @Props Valroa @CocoCody "I'm not really sure. That's the extent of his whereabouts in the yearbook. However, he would definitely remember you!" Twinkleshine explained. "Hey I know! Since we're going to the Crystal Empire in a few days for a magical research project, why don't you join us? I'm sure between the all of us, we could figure something out." Twilight leaned over and whispered something to Moondancer. Moondancer pondered the information that was given to her before replying. "It sounds like Sunburst means a lot to you. It took a while for me to realize how much Twilight's friendship meant to me, but when I realized, both of us were willing to put in the effort to fix it, even if the first few moments are really awkward. And now all of us are close friends, as you can see. If you think Sunburst values this friendship as much as you, then you'll be enough. This is for you to determine," Moondancer replied. "Ah, I see. I suppose that means we'll have to add this shadow magic to the fields of magic we'll have to investigate," Lemon Hearts replied with a light laugh. If Starlight and Magnolia didn't have much else to say, the group would enjoy some more fruit and cheese quietly. In a bit, Twilight would glance at the time before saying, "It was really nice to meet up again, everypony. See ya at the train station to head to the Crystal Empire," Twilight would reply before getting up and leading the way towards the door. "Alright, uuh, Moonlight, are you ready to meet our parents?"
  21. I don't know that much about ghost hunting. It's alright if my character doesn't as well, right?
  22. @Props Valroa "You see, that's the cool thing about discovering yourself and what you like. You can like things that you aren't good at," Sweetie Belle explained. "Like, somethings, I like making things and clothing like my sister Rarity, but I'm not that good at it." "Oh yeah, remember the time Sweetie Belle made a costume with five legs?" Apple Bloom joked. The three crusaders and Skylight giggled. "Woah, that's so cool. What other cool things can crystal ponies do?" Scootaloo would ask.
  23. @Illiad Easle Speckle looked around before replying, "Uuh, probably not. I think it's something like they don't want to get in trouble if something goes wrong or something..." Speckle replied. "Well we're going there later today. It's just part of a separate tour," Speckle elaborated. "No I haven't done this tour before. I mean, I know some stuff about Canterlot from living here, but there's so much I don't know as well, so I'm learning this along with you! Isn't that so cool?" Speckle exclaimed. Some of the ponies that weren't part of the tour group would give the young pair some second glances before trying to avoid the pair. Speckle was feeling a little less self-conscious, but given how she tended to show her fangs around bat ponies and hide them around other pony species, she kept switching between the two. After spending plenty of time examining the views around the whole tower, the tour guide would go around and gather the group back up, asking if they had any questions before leading the way back down to the base of the tower. Once at the base of the tower, the tour guide would start leading the group from EUP Plaza towards Museum Mall. The tour went through Museum Mall and the University District before stopping at The Tasty Treat at Restaurant Row for lunch. The entire time the tour guide went into extensive detail about every location. This included the past, present, and future functions of each location, prominent ponies involved with each neighborhood, the importance of each neighborhood, and many more details that Speckle could barely keep track of. However, she would pause several times to ask the group if they had any questions. She would happily answer the group's questions, going into further detail about the specifics they were interested in. "...Museum Mall is known for the extensive collection of Smithponian Museums. Feel free to visit these museums after the tour because they're literally free to visit! Some of the most notable museums here are the Museum of Natural History, the Smithponian Gallery of Art, the Museum of Magic, and a Smithponian museum for each of the pony species. Behind me here is the Museum of Sciences. It is most notable for its constellation of night stars, which was an installation built after the return of Princess Luna. It is significant for several reasons..." "So, there's a museum for unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies... Wait, there's no museum for bat ponies or thestrals?" Speckle pointed out as she glanced around but failed to find the museum for her species. She had said this relatively quietly so only Nova would have heard her. "...Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns has a very prominent role here in the University District. Founded by Celestia to help shape the minds of the brightest unicorns in Equestria, it is currently run by Moonlight Magic. Some of the most prominent magical findings published by this school recently include..." Speckle listened to the tour guide's explanation about the school of magic, but she was surprised when the tour guide finished her explanation and didn't mention anything about how Princess Twilight used to study there. "Hey, didn't Princess Twilight used to study there?" Speckle would ask the tour guide. "Ah yes, this school was the most prestigious school of magic here in Equestria. However, after one of their alumni, Twilight Sparkle, became the Princess of Magic and Friendship, the school's prominence has only increased. Most recently, Princess Twilight has gotten involved in the school with their research, opening up new fields of magic never seen before..." "Restaurant Row is well known for having some of the best restaurants in Canterlot. This place is most well known for being the place where Zesty Gormond developed her three-hoof rating, in addition to having the highest concentration of three-hoof rated restaurants anywhere in Equestria. We'll be eating at the Tasty Treat, which is well known for..." After a lot of walking, the group was able to get a break when they sat down at the Tasty Treat for lunch. "Oh my gosh, that has been so much walking and talking," Speckle would say to Nova. "What did you think of the whole thing? I thought it was really cool, especially the part where she went into detail about Princess Twilight's relationship with Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Isn't Princess Twilight so cool? What do you think of her? And this tour as a whole?" Speckle would ask Nova as she ordered some food.
  24. @Props Valroa @CocoCody "Oh my gosh, Twilight's really good at teleporting, too! After reconnecting with us, she set up a long-distance teleportation line between Ponyville and Canterlot. Now she can spend a morning and an evening with her friends in Ponyville and an afternoon with us here in Canterlot on the same day! Isn't that amazing?" Minuette exclaimed. "Minuette, if you want to show off your magical abilities to Magnolia and Starlight, you can just say so, you know? Holding a conversation with the rest of the ponies here while preparing cheese fruit and crackers platter in the kitchen," Twinkleshine teased, gesturing to Minuette's glowing horn. "Aww, but pretending to be subtle while showing off is so much fun," Minuette whined playfully as she swapped out the now-empty plate of macarons for fruit, cheese, and crackers. "Oh we're doing that game now? Twinkleshine, tell Starlight about the time you set up an event at the university by levitating everything into place in ten seconds flat!" Lyra replied. "There must have been over two thousand objects total! And she did it all in one go!" Minutte would once again show off her ability to levitate things outside of her line of sight when she levitated over her university yearbook from another room. She opened it and began flipping through the pages. "Alright, Sunburst... Oh look, Starburst is sitting like you in this picture, Lyra! Anyways, Sunburst: went to the Crystal Empire... Huh. There aren't really any more details on Sunburst here. Though I'm sure if you went to the Crystal Empire, you could find out more about his whereabouts," Minuette would levitate the yearbook over to Starlight for her to see while levitating some cheese and fruit onto a cracker and eating it. "Transform into shadows... Wait, so like Sombra?" Lemon Hearts asked. "And what are the implications of this magic? And talking about magic, are there any fields of magic that interest you?" "Oh wow, so both of you are reconnecting with those that used to be close to you," Moondancer, who had been quite quiet up until this point spoke up. "I know how you two feel. It really hurt when my friend Twilight just left without a word. And for a while, I gave up on trying to make friends again. But then Twilight came back and she convinced me that I shouldn't let her leaving me prevent me from having friends. And now we're close friends. They mean so much to me..." Moondancer started tearing up. This would cause the other five unicorns to give Moondancer a group hug, and they would all nuzzle each other for a bit while Moondancer expressed her past.
  25. @Samurai Equine @Victoria Everglade @Props Valroa “Hello again Evelyn, Collapse, Trilby. Hello there Caramel. I’m Swift Wings,” Swift Wings would introduce themselves to Caramel. Afterwards, they would follow Evelyn up to her room. “Oh wow, your room is pretty cool.” To ey would glance around, trying to see how everything might fit. “Yeah this could work. So, where should we start?”
