I haven't been on this forum in, like, five years, but I wanted to come back so I can spread the word about this ridiculous set of stories on FIMfiction.net. (I hope it's okay to share stories by other people.) What I'm talking about are the works of an author known as 'jakkid166'. Whatever circle of hell this guy came from, he brought with him one of the strangest senses of humor I've ever seen. And yet also one that makes me consistently laugh. See, this guy's fanfics all star his self-insert, Detective jakkid166, and are written completely terribly, but in an extremely entertaining way. (And I'm pretty sure it's that way on purpose.) Detective jakkid166 himself consistently claims to be the best detective in the world, even though he never solves any mysteries. Still, all the characters love him for some reason. But Gikkleslick, doesn't something being "bad on purpose" kinda defeat the point? Usually, but not here. These read more like straight parodies of the HiE genre, but in a weirdly endearing, good-hearted way. Like I read on his TVtropes page, "This, in itself, allows him to get across a rapid-fire brand of humor that wouldn't work in any other format - almost every line contains a joke of some kind." ...Yeah, you heard me right. Someone made a TVtropes page about him. And a wiki. And a Phoenix Wright game. Anyway, I strongly suggest checking him out, starting out with his first story: Detective jakkid166 Go to Equestria Now. Okay, I just looked up some fifty meter tall structures, and I can definitely say falling off one of those could definitely be lethal. Anyway, I think the dynamite crisis has been resolved, as far as I know. *Explosion sound in distance* ...Okay, now it has. Now for an actual question. Are you allergic to anything?

Only partially. But don't worry, everything will be fine as long as- *Huge explosion sound* Dammit, that's like the fourth time that's happened... I don't even remember how many of these I put around ponyville.

Oh come on, there's no need to freak out as long as I find the thing. Besides, it could be anywhe- *Huge explosion sound* ...Hm. I wonder where that came from. I'm gonna go look for the explosion spot.

Weird, I could have sworn I had put it somewhe- *Huge explosion sound from Applejack's farm* ...I'll be right back. Fifty meter falls aren't lethal, right?

Just to let you know, if you see any lit sticks of dynamite anywhere, including your refrigerator, just ignore them. They'll... ""disappear" eventually.
