    I thought The Best Gift Ever was just ok. A lot of the jokes made me laugh and the animation was pretty impressive, but Discord always annoys me and I found the story to be pretty predictable (although it IS a kids' movie, so I'm willing to let that last one slide a bit).

    The current series I’m working on is AJ the Very Whimsical, a story about a spunky, wildly imaginative, little girl named Angel K. Arquette Jr. (AJ) who lives in a bizarre world where anything can happen. Snow is pink, lawnmowers are robots, logic is unpredictable, and monsters are common.
     
    To survive this wonderland, AJ must depend on the sharp wit of her best friend Twist, the resourcefulness of her mother Blaze, and her own undying optimism.

    I gave G5 a fair chance. I thought the movie was ok, but I didn't like the characters or the forced connection to G4. I ended up dropping it after the first TV special.
