    Silverspark, seeing a river up ahead, noticed others in front of her. Brightspark observed how fast the current was flowing, and the two of them stopped the sled just in time before reaching the bank. Brightspark took her bat to measure the water depth. "It's knee-deep for an older pony," she said. "We might have to try swimming across, but with this current..." She watched as the others struggled a bit, but they had a rope to help keep everyone afloat. Still, she looked across to see how far it was. Brightspark glanced at Silverspark and asked, "You’re not planning to jump across, are you?" Silverspark looked back and replied, "Well, it’s not that far. "she said Brightspark is looking at her. "Silver, I don't think we are supposed to jump across, and besides, one wrong move you could miss and you'd be finding the waterfall, "she looked worried Silverspark, looking back, sighs, "And I guess borrowing @Pinkie Pie's party cannon is out too ?" she asked The two were having a conversation on what to do in this situation

    Brightspark was steering the sled while Silver held a good-quality, applewood baseball bat. Silver smacked the trees at just the right spots, causing the leaves to fall. Silver called out. "Bright, steer to the right," she looked at her before continuing, "Make sure there’s no one in front or behind so no pony gets run over!" She kept her balance opening her wings for balance and her tail kept her upright

    Silverspark and Brightspark continued sliding through the mud, trying to catch up with the older ponies. Brightspark held onto Silverspark's tail with her teeth as she exclaimed, "I have a new plan! Look over there—a flat piece of wood! We can use it like a sled. Check in my saddlebag for some rope!" Brightspark looked at her before searching the saddlebag and found a rope." Found it, so now what ?" she asked. Silverspark levitated a large flat piece of wood. She tied the rope a bit for steering, and together they hopped on, and their new mudsled slid across the mud on it as both fillies moved

    Silverspark and Brightspark were running together to catch up to the other ponies. They raced side by side, undeterred by the rain. As they approached a mud puddle, they came up with a plan. They thought sliding through the mud would be fun, so Silver and Bright decided to give it a try.
