Nook Cranny

Hey Plankton, which of your evil, conniving schemes to steal the krabby Patty was your favorite and which one was admittedly your lamest attempt? Also besides SpongeBob who annoys you the most? Oh and one last thing between you and me I want to be an evil super villain. Do you have any advice for me?

Smiling Rapid reached across the table and shook Rowan’s hoof. “It’s nice meeting you as well Mr. Ardency er Rowan.” He then nodded in understand as the other went on to explain how he wasn’t very good at remembering names. He then frowned as the other went on to explain that he had no idea how to even find his former classmate to thank him. “Oh well that’s too bad… But surely there must be some way for us to discover where he now resides. A location spell or something…” His mind the went to Nook Cranny, a pegasus with a knack for finding not only lost items, but missing ponies. Unfortunately, the two of them weren’t exactly friends. They used to be, but Nook kept getting super nosy whenever around him and Free Thinker. A couple of times she came awfully close to discovering their secret. Still, if any pony could find Rowan’s old classmate she could. As he thought about Nook Cranny a smile spread across his face. “You know what? You’re in luck because I happen to know some pony who would be a great help to finding your classmate. She’s a clairvoyant and lost and founder. She got her cutie mark in finding some missing geese during winter wrap up. If some pony can find your old classmate it’s her,” he revealed despite his reservations about seeing Nook again and dealing with her nosiness. But then his smile faltered some when he remembered something. “Um I don’t suppose you have something that your former classmate may have touched or came in contact with? In order to find your classmate Nook will need something that they were in contact with.” “Oh that’s not weird at all,” Rapid told him in response to Rowan claiming he would have liked his magic teacher. Although, he wasn’t so sure about that. He wasn’t the best magic student due to his lack of control and him losing his temper due to his classmates constant teasing. “Nothing wrong with showing off,” Rapid assured the red pony with a small smile and a wink. “It’s good to feel confident in one’s own abilities after all.” Rapid felt himself blushing at Rowan’s mention of special cider. “Oh well I might have to take you up on that offer if this special cider of yours is what I’m thinking of,” he said with an amused chuckle. The blue unicorn saw how excited the red pony was as he then went on to explain a research paper he had written on the elements of passion. “Oh that’s okay. It sounds pretty interesting actually. You sound like you put a lot of work into your paper. But you said you dropped out of Twilight’s school. So you wrote this paper for fun then? Hmmm…how very interesting indeed.” “Oh so you must have met Twilight then, right? What’s she like in person? And all of her friends? You must have met them all, right? Oh and let me guess your favorite subject was magic, right?”

I hope I didn't scare everyone away with my posts. Did I? Sorry if I did. Sometimes I can get carried away with my writing.

Rapid Quill: /stares as Pipp plays with the phone/ "Whoa, that little thing can summon up your friends from wherever they are? That is so cool! I mean it's...decent magic I guess. Where does one acquire such a diminutive magical device?" Ears lowers as he overhears Pipp mention how unicorns are superstitious. He thought that he was only one of the few who was superstitious. He didn't know it was common with his race. He cocked his head curiously. "You mean all unicorns are superstitious? Huh...I didn't think they...we were. This is the first I've heard of it."

Poor Rapid Quill doesn't know what a phone is. He also doesn't fully understand friendship. Some pony please help him lol!

Rapid Quill: He stared at her some more in utter disbelief. "But we've only just met and we're already...friends? Wow, that was fast..." He then stared the tiny device in her hoof trying to figure out what the thing even was. "Phone? What's a phone? Does it create magic like a wand? It sure is small..."

Rapid's red eyes blinked at Pipp when she showed him her phone. He had never seen anything like it before. "Wha...what is that thing? What do you do with it?" His eyes blinked again at the random fact about Luna being a wrestler. His eyes blinked even more in total confusion and disbelief when Pipp claimed to know him. He forced a laugh. "You know me? I find that really hard to believe considering we've just now met. I think I would have remembered you had we met previously. A place? Oh that's okay. I already have a home here in town. Really nice of you to offer though. Hm..." He then studied her suspiciously. "Why, are you being so nice to me anyway? Do you want me to write about one of your exploits or something? Did my publisher put you up to this? That would be just like her to set me up like this." "And no can't say I've ever actually met the Princess of Friendship and her friends in person before! But I've read about them in this journal of theirs they had published. It's really quite fascinating! I highly recommend you read it if you haven't already. It really shows in each of their lessons just how powerful their friendship is and how weak loneliness is. I hope to make many friends like they did, so I too can be powerful." Clearly from the way he droned on, Rapid didn't understand friendship and thought it was all about power much like Cozy Glow did.

Rapid Quill: His face reddened even more as his sudden appeared apparently scared the daylights out of a pink pegasus. "Oh I'm so sorry about that! I didn't mean to scare you or any pony else. I was actually trying to get to this village only to wind up here in Ponyville instead; which is only a fluke I assure you. I don't usually get erm...turned around." His eyes widened as the pink pegasus accurately guessed his name even though he had not given it. "Um how did you know my name? I didn't...tell it to you. Are you a telepath?" Suddenly finds himself in a tight embrace and since he is not accustomed to such tight hugs he starts to gasp for air. "Oh hey it's um nice to meet you too. A princess you say? That's wow... Usually princesses are also alicorns. But anyway, I like your mane. Who does it if you don't mind my asking?" Tries to wriggle himself out of the hug.

Same here! I'm ready! I'm ready!

Rapid Quill: /got lost while teleporting and ends up teleporting in front of a rather large group of ponies just outside Sweet Apple Acres/ After giving his head a rub while groaning and mumbling under his breath, "okay, that's the last time I take directions from a griffon. Those grouchy feather brains don't know a screwdriver from a wrench." His face reddened when he sees the group and just smiles sheepishly at them while taking a large step back. "Oh um hello. Sorry I...I didn't mean to just...appear like that and I can see you are all very busy, so maybe I'll just... Oh hey while I'm here would any of you happen to know how to get to a certain grey, drab looking village? It's called, Greyvale and boy is it ever grey. Not that I'm up to something. I'm definitely not." His smile only widens as he says this and is clearly sweating like he's hiding something.

Hello sorry for butting in, but I was just wondering if maybe I could join your merry band of fun loving ponies? I've never done a purely random rp before. it looks fun and I know it says open, but still. I don't want to interrupt and just butt in.

Rapid Quill: Rapid’s red eyes widened some more as he listened to the red pony explain in detail how he is able to conjure up a horn and wings. He had to admit this was super interesting. So much so that he began to take notes. His magic caused his quill to quickly take notes on a small notepad. He tried his best to keep his quill from writing so fast that it disintegrates. He remembered everything his mentor (Free Thinker) had taught him. He smiled slyly at Rowan. “You’re so right Mr. Uh…I’m sorry I don’t believe I caught your name. What is it? Mine’s Rapid Quill. Anyways, you are a very talented and skilled magic user it would seem with your impressive ability to conjure up a full working horn and wings. You really do look like an alicorn with both.” He frowned as he mentioned not being able to recall the name of his talented classmate. “You don’t remember the one who originally taught you the trick? That’s…well that’s too bad and kind of weird if I’m being honest. Because if a pony taught me something as amazing and impressive as that I don’t think I’d forget their face or their name. Tell me, have you ever thought about finding that unicorn again to thank them for your obvious success?” He smirked when the red pony apologized for thinking history boring. “Not at all. I’m not mad. In fact, it’s perfectly normal to find some history books dull as dirt. Although, some history can be quite fascinating. I suppose it all depends on where you look.” He just listened quietly and nodded as Rowan continued to talk about his time in various magic schools. “Oh yes I quite agree that small classes do have their advantages of the teacher being able to give their students more individual attention when needed.” His red eyes lit up and he couldn’t help smiling as Rowan mentioned the magic of friendship. “Oh yes I for sure agree with that! Friendship is so…powerful! There’s nothing else quite like it! Friendship is so amazing! Like all of those stories about how the Princess of Friendship and her friends got together and using their combined power of friendship defeated many a powerful foe! Not even Tirek and Nightmare Moon could stand against them! So unbelievably awesome! Wish I was there to see it in person!” He then cleared his throat. “I hope to make many friends, so I can be just as powerful! Can’t wait!” Rapid Quill like Cozy Glow greatly misunderstood friendship for he only saw it as power and thought villains fools for thinking it weak. Rapid Quill then sort of frowned as the red pony went on to claim that teleportation was simple when the journalist knew otherwise. “Whoa there buddy, I’m going to have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. Teleportation is not basic. It’s really powerful, advanced magic stuff that only a small handful of unicorns can do. Seriously, if every unicorn could teleport then we’d see them teleporting all over the place all the time, but we don’t. Why? Because as I said only a few unicorns can do it like myself. Trust me it takes a lot of practice to get even remotely good at it.” The journalist then eyed him as the red pony seemed to have stopped himself from saying the word, levitation though he wasn’t sure why. “Oh you mean a levitation spell only one strong enough to cause me to float around? Yeah, no thanks. Never tried it and I don’t think I really want to,” he informed him point blank without saying why. But the journalist had a very good reason why he was always so reluctant to use his magic on himself and other ponies. It was because he didn’t want to hurt himself while attempting to cause himself to float around. It wasn’t like he never thought about doing it before. He had, but he still didn’t feel like he had enough control and he didn’t want to risk combusting from his natural speed magic causing so much friction. Rapid sighed. “It’s cool. We all get carried away sometimes even me.” The blue unicorn nodded. “Yeah, I expect flying does take getting used to. The thing is I don’t think I really care too much. I don’t want to get used to it. I only fly with my friend when…when we have to.” He then looked around. “Sooooo do you have a favorite drink or snack? I myself am partial to that sweet apple cider, but just regular sweet tea is great too.”

Oh you can go ahead and reply if you want. As for inconsistencies I did not see any just yet. However, Pristine isn't selling silks. She only has cleaning solutions; which are inside little potion bottles. Sorry Rarity. But hey at least you can buy some cleaning stuffs to get stains out of your silk. @Lunaholic @Skylight Scintillate Interestingly enough Pristine kind of hates her cutie mark! She blames her cutie mark as the big reason she had a falling out with her folks and to be fair she isn't wrong. So be kind of interesting if she were to run into the cmc. Of course she's not the type to discuss such issues. If anyone notices something's wrong it will take some prodding to get her to admit disliking her cutie mark. On that note I am honestly kind of surprised the cmc never encountered anyone who outright hated their cutie mark. To me that could have been an interesting episode.

After rewatching their episode I kind of wished the flouries had made a return in FIM or in Gen 5 because they'd be underestimated until too late. After all, who would think talking flowers could be capable of evil? Fluttershy for sure would be learning the same lesson Posey did about not judging a book by its cover. Totally random, but I recognized one of their voices. It sounded like Babs Bunny, so Tress MacNeille voiced one of the evil flowers. Other Gen 1 voice actors I recognize are Nancy Cartwright (she voices Gusty) who famously voices Bart Simpson and Scott Menville (he voices Danny) who we all know now voices Robin from Teen Titans. This must have been their very first cartoon they starred in. I can't help, but hear Bart every time Gusty speaks lol! Lisa Simpson: /somehow finds out/ "Hey Bart I hear you once voiced a pony in an old cartoon. Wait until everyone at school hears about this!" XD

Rapid Quill: His red eyes widened in surprise as both wings and a horn magically appeared on the earth pony and he just stared at him in confusion. He wondered if this was some trick to this, but no the wing and horns looked real. Wanting to make sure it wasn't some sort of illusion Rapid reached his right hoof towards Rowan's horn and it felt solid. Startled, he let out a gasp. "Uh forgive my...confusion. I just never seen anything like this before. I didn't think it possible for an earth pony to do well any sort of actual magic. Sleight of hand yes, but real magic. How did you pull it off?" When Rowan covered his mouth thinking he'd freak out by the transformation; which he sort of did, but for a totally different reason he pushed the red pony's hoof away and just sort of chuckled. Subtlety, Rapid cast a strong persuade/charismatic spell on himself to make him sound truthful even when he's lying through his teeth. "Well even if you were a changeling it wouldn't have bothered me. After all, they're all good now, right except for Chrysalis and maybe a few rogues?" the journalist unicorn reminded. He watched as the red pony caused his horn to vanish. Rapid just sort of frowned when Rowan clearly misunderstood what he had said earlier. "Oh no you misunderstand. My friend flying me in of itself isn't what embarrasses me. It's well...the fact that flying makes me feel queasy. So much so that as soon as we land I end up puking; which I'm pretty sure isn't a normal response. Me throwing up afterwards is what I'm super embarrassed about." He then shot him a warning look. "Tell no pony! I'm a laughing stock already as it is!" He had no idea why he just admitted that to a complete stranger, but something about this pony made him real easy to talk to, so there's that. He nodded when the other mentioned that the Pegasi fly super fast. "Yeah, that's what my friend is...a pegasus and boy does he ever fly fast. I suppose there are some Pegasi who are below average fliers like that one who is super buff and muscular. He's so...big and his wings are so diminutive. I'm surprised he's even able to lift himself off the ground." After looking up at the sky he shook his head. "I do understand why some enjoy flying. I...I just don't. I'd much rather just teleport my way around and not to brag, but I am really good at it," he bragged even though he is not the best at teleporting. He could do it just fine if not going too far, but if it's super far away there is a good chance Rapid ends up getting lost and unsure how to teleport directly back. Eventually, he will find his way back after teleporting a whole bunch of times and he will usually be pretty worn out by that time. This was the big reason his friend, Free Thinker disliked teleporting with him. But Rapid Quill is usually much too proud and stubborn to ever admit such and will instead brag about how great he is at teleporting. @Rowan Ardency

Rapid Quill: "Wow, you dream about your teeth falling out? So do I admittedly. Not fun. I also have flying and falling dreams funny enough even though I don't fly. Usually in my dreams I start off flying really fast just fine and then all of a sudden I just fall really fast like a rock for literally no reason. But then it is only a dream and dreams can get pretty random or so I've read. Oh wait, you can fly?" /looks him over/ "How? Aren't you an earth pony? Do you fly by balloon or something? I'm going to be honest. I absolutely hate flying. I have this...friend that flies and whenever he takes me flying I feel queasy right after. Don't you tell any pony I told you that. It's kind of embarrassing!" "And to answer your question about do I receive visits from Luna? I have, but I don't have many nightmares, so yeah. From what I hear she usually visits any pony that has really bad nightmares. And that's cool you don't have to talk about your past if you don't want to. Totally understandable and not to mention relatable."

Hello everyone I'm still pretty new here and I just got my villain character, Rapid Quill accepted and am itching to play as him. So if anybody needs a baddie for their rp or I can start up a rp as him causing some mischief let me know and I will volunteer Rapid. I'm also working on his partner in crime, Free Thinker/Cutter, a non-reformed changeling who he usually works with. Free Thinker is usually in the guise of a minty green pegasus. Or it doesn't need to be an adventure rp. I can also do simple slice of life since Rapid can act like a regular pony when not causing mischief and chaos. Might have him bowl since that is one of his hobbies or have him enjoying some food at a restaurant.

So glad Zeb did not make a return. While him and Arabus stealing pony shadows to cause them to lose energy and feel weaker interesting Gen 4 Tirek did the similar thing (eating pony magic to grow stronger) way better. Plus Zeb was a total creep who gave me major pedophile vibes. He was so slimy. You thought Svengallop bad? Well, he was! But this guy was so much worse than even Svengallop! Zeb made Svengallop look like a misunderstood angel. In case some of you didn't know here is a pic of the creep. Yeah, he's a zebra and the very first in MLP. Sorry Zecora that you zebras have this creep as a member of your species. But, most of you zebras are awesome, so it's all good! This guy seems to be the only one who isn't. As to why he gives me pedo vibes. Well, it's because he tricks a trio of fillies into working for him just so he can steal their shadows for his boss to eat. So glad he never came back or was mentioned ever again.

While making a sell, Pristine spotted a mysterious cloaked figure coming ever so slightly closer to her wagon. Not wanting to scare her off she quietly looked her over. ‘Strange fashion choice and there’s not even a single rain cloud in the sky. I wonder what she has to hide or he? I can’t really tell with the hood covering much of their face, but I don’t want to appear nosy or rude, so I’ll try my best not to stare so much,’ the cleaning sales pony thought to herself while trying her best to smile politely at the cloaked pony. Once the mysterious cloaked figure became next in line, Pristine still smiling cleared her throat. “Hello there. Welcome to my humble wagon. See anything in particular that catches your eye? Perhaps something to get nasty, stubborn stains out of that fine cloak you are wearing? What’s it made out of by the way? Polyester? Not that I am judging of course! But I do have cleaning solutions for just about any type of fabric. Please, don’t be shy. Step right on up and take a look for yourself,” she informed her in a friendly, welcoming tone gesturing her totally clean hoof towards her solutions. In fact, it was hard to believe that she had walked so far on a dirt road considering just how clean and shiny her hooves were. She had spoken in a thick Sparkletown accent unlikely heard from any pony there before. But the mysterious cloaked pony was not the only curious thing she saw. As she looked straight ahead she thought she caught sight of a bushy bright pink mane sticking out from a bush. ‘What’s this another shy pony too shy to come out and see me?’ She thought getting self-conscious and thinking she may have accidentally done or said something offensive or scary. She glanced at her wagon. No there was nothing frightening about her soft colored wagon. Just a typical looking wagon with a single large rain drop design on either side of it. Nothing scary or offensive about that. Shaking her head she then returned her attention back to her customers. Pristine then noticed a rather large group of six ponies approaching her and her wagon. Thinking them all potential customers she saw dollar signs and smiled at them. Looking them all over she recognized one of them had the same bright pink colored mane she spotted sticking out from the bush and she couldn’t help, but recognized that the purple one was an alicorn. Sparkletown may have been far, but news still traveled there. She had heard stories of a fourth alicorn princess and how she and her friends constantly worked together to defeat many a powerful foe and save Equestrian half a dozen times over. Plus she had bought and read their Friendship Journal and loved it! She loved it so much she read it several times. ‘This must be them!’ She thought feeling so excited that her smile widened as they approached. “Oh wow wow! It’s you! I mean of course it’s you! I read that you lived here, but I never expected… You must be Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship! Oh wow, it is an honor to meet you and your friends! And you’re approaching my wagon? My wagon! Wow, some pony pinch me I must be dreaming!” She squealed jumping up and down in pure excitement. Noticing other ponies just staring at her she stopped and cleared her throat. “I mean welcome Princess to my humble wagon. I am hoping to be able to make enough to afford my own shop. Maybe even open up a dry cleaners. I don’t know. But for now, what can I help you ladies with? Has some super evil and extremely messy monster left behind an enormous mess somewhere that only I can clean? If so I can for sure clean it. No problem. I can clean anything,” she informed them as she continued to stare unable to process that she was in the presence of such famous ponies. She felt like she wasn’t worthy to be even around them. It’s not like she ever did anything in her life even remotely noteworthy.
