I've seen how fast Slipstream can go, and he would absolutely break not only the sound barrier, but also probably the shockwave would blow away several small bushes." *Around half an hour later, the four ponies had arrived at the open fields, Rich began setting up the field while the others prepared. He set up a large banner that would act as a start and finish line, while also setting up a table and chairs for him and Ziggy. He made Ziggy's larger as to suit her size.* "Here you go fellow judge. I hope this ends well." *Rainbow Dash was stretching herself out. But Slipstream? Well . . .* Well Slipstream, this is it. This is the moment where you finally find out if you're the fastest pony alive. Don't let your fear get the best of you, just, take deep breaths, and race to your hearts content. "Hey! Greenie! You ready or not!" *Rainbow Dash was already at the starting line, waiting impatiently for him.* *Slipstream bolted over.* "Sorry about that." "Whatever, I hope you're ready to eat my dust, because, there'll be a lot of it." "We'll see."

*Vinyl reached into her fridge and pulled out some Lettuce. She also made herself a sandwich.* "What about Lettuce? Lettuce counts as leaves right?" *Castle* *Monsoon placed his flipper gently on GS' head and used an anti-headache spell. Which he hoped would help.* *Endspace* *Shrapnel was now simply laying on the ground, he stared silently at the darkness above, he was still experiencing pain, but it had been 20 years, he was used to it now.*

I mean, mainly fruit. Especially anything citrus, but despite my name, my favorite fruit is not lemons, it's limes!! They're very tasty and yummy. Sometimes, I even convince Pumpkin to eat one with me.

*The song finished and Vinyl unplugged her equipment.* "As fun as all this is, it's still important to take a break. Besides I am starving." *She walked to the kitchen.* "You want anything?" *Castle* "I'm not afraid of making you mad. I'm afraid of making you sad. It still feels too soon." *Endspace* *Shrapnel had given up trying to stand. The ground was easier to writhe on. Images flashed in his mind, of comrades and friends, dead before his eyes. He felt the pain they experienced upon death go into him. Waves of guilt and grief washed over him. But he wouldn't cry.* *The creature stood silently. Never moving, it's gazed fixed on a non-existent point in the horizon.*

*Vinyl then went back to her original position, and put on yet another song.* *Castle* "I appreciate that. It's probably the most anyone's ever cared about me, ever since." *He was about to say 'ever since I met Scorp.' but decided against it.* "Nevermind." *Endspace.* *Then, it appeared before him. The being was tall, and was as dark as the night sky. Its limbs were thin, while it's torso had a large portion of mass compared to the rest of the body. Aside from two white dots that served as eyes, it had no face.* "Just do it." *Shrapnel said. He looked up into the creature's eyes, and suddenly, the pain of a thousand battles came down upon him, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He writhed and struggled to remain standing.*

*Vinyl was greatly enjoying her time with her new friend. She was amazed by how much she loved music as much as she did, especially her genre.* oO( When Tavi gets back from Canterlot, I HAVE to introduce her to Whisperwind. ) *Castle* "Well, I do appreciate the rescue, thanks for that." *Monsoon said. He continued healing GS.* *Rich* *As he got no response, Rich sighed, and simply went back to mining.* * Meanwhile . . . * *Shrapnel arrived through the portal in Endspace. Endspace was a dark and desolate abyss, that seemed like a haunted asteroid field. No one, not even the gods, the void, or the Draconici dared to enter this wasteland. Shrapnel looked around, and saw a large dark shape dash from asteroid to asteroid. He set down on a large mass of land.* "I'm ready when you are."

Oh, I make allllllll kinds of Lemonade, but my personal favorites, are traditional Lemonade, traditional Limenade, and my own special recipe, which is a combination of the two. The lattermost one is usually the most popular with customers.

*Vinyl looked at it, and then gasped with happiness.* "Yes! This is one of my favorite songs!" *She put it on and the started dancing.* *Castle* *Monsoon simply kept healing GS, it was all he could do after all. He then asked:* "How did you find us, and why were you fighting Shrapnel?" *Rich* *As Rich walked to the quarry, he began thinking about his past adventures with Dan. While they were villainous ones, deep down, he enjoyed every single one of them. After mining for about half an hour, he set his pick aside, and got down to pray.* "Sensei Li? I don't know if your spirit does cross-dimensional communication, or communication at all. But, I could really use some guidance now. Can you help me?"

Short? Damn. I was gonna make it longer. Anyways I guess Rainshine is still searching. I guess you solved it, because you found more details on the whereabouts of the Kirin. And yeah I see them. One moment.

"Yeah, Deadlocked is a loveable but powerful song." *Vinyl said, she then started scrolling through her charts looking for another song.* *Castle* "Oh, ok." *Said Phoenix.* "I'll tell them you still need time. Feel better!" *She then left the room.* *Rich* *He looked back to Dan.* "I will. You too. See ya on the other side." *He then walked off, with his pickaxe, and his mind began to wander.*

*Blinks* Fine. It didn't really work out in the end. Sad face. Here you go, 10 derp points. With an extra 10 on the house for your troubles. You can leave if you want.

"Ohohoho, you know it." *Vinyl grinned, and loaded up Deadlocked.* "Wait for it." *And then, the bass dropped as intended.* *Castle* "Hey buddy. How ya feeling?" *Then Phoenix came in.* "GS! You're awake!" *She got closer to him, and gave him a gentle hug with Monsoon.* "Oh, if you feel up to it, I have something important to show you." *Rich* *He paused at the word 'friend.' It had been a long time since Dan had ever thought of him as that. But he was happy to know that deep down. Way deep down. Dan still cared for him.* "I appreciate the offer."

"Alrighty then," *said Vinyl.* "Anything you may have in mind, for music, take your pick!" * Castle * "Gasp! He's waking up!" *Said Monsoon, happy his friend was recovering.* * Rich * "Yeah same . . . " *He said, a bit unsure.* "I mean, I was gonna go to the quarry. So, yeah. I'm uh, I'm glad you're safe though."

"I think he'll be alright," *said Vinyl* "though I am a little concerned, I have full confidence in him, now, lemme teach you about song transitions, these are crucial to your DJ routine." * Castle . . . * *As Monsoon continued to heal GS, he couldn't help feeling bad about his injuries. He continued to feel like he was the blame for it. Then Phoenix came in.* "Is he awake yet?" *She asked, nervously.* "No," *Monsoon replied.* "But he is still alive. Somehow." "Well, when he does wake up, let me know, I have something I want to tell him, and something I want to show him." "Will do." * Back in Ponyville . . . * *Rich made it back to Ponyville safe and sound without any other interruptions, he told Slipstream about Shrapnel. Slipstream was worried about what "punishment" Shrapnel was in for, but he thanked Rich nonetheless. Rich then left. He intended to go the nearby quarry that was just outside of Gastly Gorge, when he saw Dan in front of him.* "So uh," *he said.* "What brings you here?"

*They all simply shrugged. Rich decided to head back to Ponyville. And Cadence and Shining Armor were going to start repairs, and then they noticed Shrapnel repaired it all for them, even the giant crater. So, they headed back to their castle.*

Not a bad idea. I might do the same. If I was old enough to that is.

"Oh, uh, Bye then." *Said Vinyl. Who was rather perplexed by the whole thing. She decided to let Aligner do what he was doing though, it would be best to not disturb him.*

oO( Hang in there best friend. I'll heal you. ) * Meanwhile . . . * *Shrapnel looked at the four, with sadness.* "I'm sorry for what I did. I was being manipulated. But now that the deed is done, a punishment must be carried out." *He then opened a portal to an asteroid.* "I'll be going now. Rich, give Slipstream my regards." *And with that, he jumped through the portal, and closed it behind him.*

*Monsoon, Rich, Cadence, and Shining Armor teleported back. Monsoon took GS back to the castle and put him in a bed. Meanwhile the other three looked angrily at Shrapnel.*
