The whole week has been rough. lmao

  2. Wick stood up. He was wobbly, but he was at least able to control himself. The seed had been defeated, and his normal self was back in place. He started his way back to the library, hoping to find Celestia when he ran into Shining Armor collapsed up against the door frame. A shiver rolled up his spine, and for a moment, he feared that he may have done something to the captain while in rage mode. "Shining, are you okay?" he asked, setting a hoof on the stallion's shoulder. He recoiled from the sudden snap of Shining's head and the hellfire gaze in his eyes. In an instant, Wick threw the prince over his back. "You've been seeded, haven't you? I have to find Celestia..." Limp, flung over Wick's back, Shining nodded. His duty made it hard for the seed to sprout, and his weakened state meant that he would not be a threat for the time being. "Hurry, Wick," he groaned, feeling the darker thoughts beginning to take shape. "Can't hold it forever."
  3. @@Quilava, "Stop wasting your magic on me, Ignis," Wick quipped. He was still huddled up on the floor. "I could have killed them. It was only the hard reality of those memories that saved them from me doing something dangerous. It will just take time to process it all." The stallion was trembling as his mind worked to remove the seed of betrayal. He felt sick from it - as if somepony had impaled him. "You should focus on protecting Luna." He tensed up as a pang of loneliness shot through his chest. "Dammit...." he mumbled, immediately choking up.
  4. Shining wandered into the library. He was exhausted, confused, and undoubtedly conflicted. The stallion propped himself up against the door way and groaned. He had been weakened by his nearly continuous use of high order spells, and the seed of betrayal that lurked within him was causing problems as well. "Is everyone..." he stopped and just waved his hoof at the obvious nature of his question. The shield knew something was wrong with himself, but he didn't know what to do. He was barely strong enough to walk. Meanwhile, Wick was still hunched over, the crippling pain of loss driving his wings back to his torso. Order seemed at least somewhat restored; although he dared not move for fear of what would happen. He felt alone because he was. Admittedly, he had told them too, but he was hoping at least one pony would have stayed behind to be a source of comfort.
  5. Wing groaned as he stumbled through the rain. He had gotten caught up in one of his ridiculous ideas to study lightning in real time and found himself now lost in the midst of what could be the storm of the century. In retrospect, the concept was stupid and dangerous, but he was known for random crazy streaks. The drag from the falling sheets pulled back his black mane, and the pegasus struggled to push his way through the downpour. Even opening his eyes became a hassle - a test of endurance - that a physicist was unused to facing. "I'm just like a fumbling foal," he grunted. He wandered with his lids shut for what felt like hours before he felt the touch of the forest disappear beneath his hooves. Things had definitely transitioned to stallion-handled wood, and the pony pressed forward until he rammed his muzzle into a wall. "Buck Luna," he squealed and pulled back from the structure. At least he could actually look at something now, and in this instance, he found himself standing beside a cottage. Wing wondered if somepony happened to be inside, and he briskly walked around the structure, searching for a door when he caught sight of a fellow pony standing at the entryway. With his faded lavender coat drenched, Wing was thrilled to see another pegasus in the same predicament -- or at least thrilled to see that he was not stranded alone. "Hello!" he called over the storm's rumbling growl. "I'm surprised to see another pony out here in this weather. I take it you got stuck out in this storm too?"
  6. Indeed. lol we seem to have two different continuities propagating at the same time. We should perhaps take a moment to decide where exactly we're headed.
  7. "What is wrong with you all!?" Wick screamed, looking up at Ignis and the princesses. "I told you to run!" He trembled as a cockier tone cracked from his lungs. "Why would I go back to that pathetic runt of a self, you buckhole!?" He slammed his hoof into the floor and shuddered. "I was the bar-none flier in Equestria before you left us to rot outside your precious..." Tears rolled down Wick's muzzle as he wailed. "I let her die! Me! Not them! Now get the buck out of my forsaken mind!" He crumpled up and slammed his head into the floor. "Luna let me stay..." He recited the last sentence several times before falling silent.
  8. Wick lowered his stance as Celestia charged her spell. Betrayal.... betrayal... Bomar's seed still crept through is consciousness. He smeared his last cloud in front of him and was ready to strike back with lightning when Laizzy's voice finally broke through. Don't do it, idiot! Wick's hoof halted just before striking the cloud and he shook his head wildly. "Stupid stallion...." he cried, his mind tearing itself apart as the clinging hope within him fought back. "They left both of you to die!" He shook his head again. "And they took me in!"
  9. Wick punched the book case with his hoof and started to laugh. "Yes, you're a failure. He's already won. You've descended into madness. Equestria will fall now, and Bomar will return to pick up the pieces." He laughed. "If I kill you now or not, it won't matter. It won't matter if you kill me either. I can already see it in that pathetic gaze of yours. You want my blood, which means harmony has ended."
  10. Wick darted forward, hitting the Black Star Flare in perfect stride and shattering those crystals. The black plasma wave rang out through the halls as though all of the magic in Equestria had been channeled into a signal shot. The walls cracked, and he didn't give a shit who was hurt as a result. "It wasn't her duty, you stupid trash. It was mine. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Did you have fun preaching that useless crap to your worthless niece and student from behind the wall? You never even gave me a damned thank you! I don't need to intimidate you. I am just better than you, Celestia. You're a damn failure."
  11. A bolt of lighting shattered Celestia's spell as it jumped from Wick's hoof. "Give me a bucking break, Your Highness..." He grumbled and flapped his wings. "You don't become head of dark-ops without knowing how to counter the best of the best." He took a step forward and grinned. "Thanks for shutting up the attention whore though. But, I take offense to what you said. You accused me, the stallion who lost his sister defending a worthless wedding, of being evil. I am the truth, and the truth says - a life for a life." His gaze fell upon Luna, and his stature immediately softened. For a moment, the seed was rejected, and all Wick could say was, "Run..."
  12. Betrayal! Betrayal! Betrayal! The seed injected dissonance in his mind that only further hurried the stallion's need for complete annihilation. His former self had practically been washed away. He left the library and began a slow, methodical trot in the direction Celestia had gone. He'd wait to get her in a tight space, and then he would unleash the Flare. The pressure alone would probably be enough to incapacitate her -- or worse. Then, his victory would be complete. He would have his revenge for them putting a bucking wedding ceremony over the safety of his sister. "Why would I need bucking Cadence's help? Worthless trash..." he mumbled to himself, (edit time) turning to see that the witch herself had arrived. "Whatever do you mean, Your Majesty?" he replied with a grin. She had shown up in the perfect spot. All he had to do now was fly.
  13. Wick lowered his wings. Someone's going to help me? The voice drowned out Laizzy's warnings. "I think I'll wait here for a little while," the pegasus responded to the princess. "I have a feeling that the troubles of today might not be behind us. The princesses have to be protected, after all." He smirked and gave a carefree wave. Shining Armor awakened to Cadence's shouting. "Huh?" he uttered groggily, trying to get to his hooves. He failed, not having the strength to push himself up. "Why was she...." he shuddered as pain tore through his skull. "Ahh! Something's not right with her. Keep watch..." He winced as throbbing jolts rammed through his head and limbs. Buck, I really over did it this time....
  14. WIck twitched as Laizzy's voice tried to conquer his thoughts. They betrayed you... Bomar's seed continued to grow. "Hello, Celestia," he muttered flatly. His wings had unfurled, and this time, the pegasus did not feel the burn. I could use the Black Star Flare, he thought. I could blow her away in the blink of an eye. "It seems as though I've regained my ability to fly." His tone was definitely off; even though he had been depressed, he had never sounded quite as dark as he did in that moment.
  15. (Part of the fun is going with the flow XP) Wick smirked as he wandered through the corridors. Who would he visit first? And what exactly would he say? Shining or Cadence were probably in the weakest state for manipulation, but with the crippling guilt cleared from his mind, he could fly. Perhaps, he could crush Celestia. Maybe, it was time for him to remind her why Luna selected him to be DT-Zero in the first place. Luna, he froze. The name made him tremble. He couldn't hurt Luna. Luna sheltered him. How could he... Live normally? They betrayed you... Bomar's voice lingered in his thoughts, and the pegasus's expression morphed until he looked dead. Before he realized it, there he was in the library.
  16. Wow... look at all that jumping to my defense. X3 I feel so loved. teheheheehehehehee. Chivalric values activate!
  17. Well, hey everypony. I wish I had a better topic to discuss for the 8th Episode of Random Ramblings of a Ponified Wing -- but I don't. Honestly, this may be the first time in my life that I feel the karma of my universe is completely fucking totaled. I moved on Sunday to start a new job, and the entire process has just sucked in every possible way. For starters, I was supposed to move on Friday, but the moving company called me and asked if I could change my departure to Sunday to help with their schedule. I agreed because I generally tried to be a helpful person, but it just opened up the nightmare to come. At 7:30 AM on Sunday, I got a call from the drivers, saying they were 10 minutes away. They didn't show up until 9. They proceeded to act like assholes -- commenting about how I still had things to be packed (when I paid for full packing services). And then they were slow. It took them four hours; I would have gotten it done in two. One of them spent almost the entire time on the phone discussing other move jobs. It was a pain. But then... but then... when they leave they leave a receipt. It's a modified inventory from the papers I had signed agreeing to the insurance clause. It seems that they have the right to modify the price after the fact. I had been quoted at 2260, and after all my stuff had been loaded, the price magically changed to 3800. Now, my shit is being held hostage while I complain. I moved away from my social circle; I don't have a home to call my own; and I'm suddenly supposed to magic 1500$ from the fucking vacuum. -.- Did I mention my new desk is an IKEA table, and no work comp has been provided? That's like death in physics, btw. I really have no idea what the flying fuck I'm doing here any more. I've gone through a lot of shit in my life, and I have never felt so much rage (and the strange kind of quiet rage) ever before. It's like I'm watching myself slowly wither away from all of this. On the other hand, I really have to thank some people on here, for dragging my head about water for the past few days. @@Concord, @,@@Motion Spark -- who have carried on so much conversation with me lately... @@Twiliscael, - Your kindness last night was really touching. It's why I love this community. And it's why we nuzzles Dawn Rider. lol @, (aka Key Gear) -- Both character and dude behind the character... XP You gave me the first stress free two hours I've had since the move, and I thank you a lot for it. Get the hell off my text file, you Celestia-blessed hippies!
  18. (How dramatic and evil.. What will happen to Wick now... dun dun dun) Shining used every ounce of his remaining magic to heal Cadence's horn. He propped her up with his head and collapsed beneath her, finally reaching the brink. "I'm sorry," he exhaled. "I let him hurt you." His eyes slowly closed as he was bathed in her warmth. He just prayed members of the guard would find her soon and finish healing what he couldn't. (Edit: Shy beat me to it... well, we'll just retcon it to Shining passing out) lol "Live normally...." Wick muttered to himself as he wandered through the castle. He felt extremely strange. The typical voices of his mind were fading, replaced by something far more sinister and dark. "How can I live normally... when they all let her die?" The truth became distorted in the pegasus's mind as he climbed the stairs. "They all sat idly behind their precious barrier, while I fought and watched my sister die. Live normally? While surrounded by traitors? I'll... destroy them."
  19. The darkness had outpaced the pegasus, and with the danger gone, Wick's drive to fly vanished. He wasn't ready to be in the air again; the only reason why he had even made it this far was because he felt an overwhelming sense of duty and honor. With the evil out of the equation, there was nothing left in his mind but the horrible images that left him crippled. His wings locked up and tucked without command, causing the pegasus to crash into the ground with a thundering shout.
  20. Ignis's words pushed Wick over the edge of dedication. All that was left in his mind was Laizzy's voice, but the message had shifted, and it was decisively clear. Fly dammit! He was airborne in the blink of an eye - his wings outstretched for the first time in months. They ached, practically burned from the lack of use. He blew by Ignis, and his gaze narrowed as he began to mold the barrier. He wasn't fast enough to break it outright. Only Dashie could do that, but he had his own particular flying style and it felt good. The pegasus chased after the darkness. He was the captain of dark-ops after all, and while Celestia hesitated to kill, Wick was not afraid to deliver mortal blows. He would make the demented stallion pay for the pain he had caused his friends. Wick would make him pay for what he did to Luna.
  21. "Cadence..." Shining muttered weakly. His mare had caught him, and she was hurt. The stallion had managed to catch Cadence's horn. He clutched it tightly while heavy breaths passed through his lips. He was exhausted beyond comprehension, but at least now they had time to regroup. His limbs felt heavy as they flew, and Shining Armor knew that he had pushed himself well beyond the limit. "I need some time," he panted. Meanwhile, (( we seem to have two simultaneous plots going on here o.o )) Wick stood on the ground and watched Princess Luna. He could feel his wings twitch as his need to help her battled against the tragic memories that ravaged his mind. His legs tensed up as he looked to the princess of the night. He had to help her protect Equestria. "Just tell me to fly already!" he roared to Luna, demanding the prod to feel useful.
