  1. Penmark was just about to enter the restaurant, when he suddenly heard someone scream. Quick as he could, he raced to the sounds and saw the Bright-Haired-Pony from yesterday being attacked. "Get off of her!" He shouted. With all his might, he tackled the beast down. While the beast kicked and struggled to stand up, Penmark ran up to the Bright-Haired-Pony. "Are you okay?"He asked, concerned for her safety.
  2. Penmark shrugs, the siren might just be a weird coincidence, for now he needed some breakfast. He steps out, breathes in the air, and makes his way to Sugar Cube Corner. While on his way there, he notices a couple of people heading toward the same restaurant. Upon closer viewing, he notices they're all the same people from before. Huh... How odd
  3. Penmark rubs his eyes and shakes his head. What a dream that was. He thought to himself. He tried to remember, something about a book and fire... He yawned, it wasn't that important. Light flooded in from the windows, and a siren cries outside. What's that, then? He steps outside to see what the ruckus is about.
  4. ((OOC: Isn't Day 2 when the Ponyville part starts? Or are we changing that.))
  5. Penmark sighed, alone at last. He blew out all the lights and went upstairs to sleep. He crawled into Twilight's bed, stretched with exhaustion and went to sleep. He hoped that she would be there when he woke up, that she would be safe. ((OOC: Looks like everyone is asleep.))
  6. Penmark gives an annoyed expression. "Not much that I know, just that it's pretty big... and pretty dangerous." At the word 'dangerous', his worry about Twilight returned. He clears his throat. "It's getting late, we'll be closing soon."
  7. "Well... over there..." Penmark says, pointing to shelves labeled 'Ha-Hk'. I wonder what those other ponies are doing at the park, it's starting to get dark now... He wonders. He shrugs, it's none of his concern right now.
  8. "Yeah, I guess we are open, come in." He ushers Drizzle inside. Silently, he lets Drizzle browse the large selection of books. "So... got anything in mind?" He says, trying to start up a conversation of some kind.
  9. ((OOC: Just got back from a computer crash. Sorry.)) Penmark perks up to the sounds of the door being knocked on. Previously, he had been engrossed in a good book. He expected soldiers, or Twilight to be on the other side of the door, but instead he finds a dully-colored colt. "Er... hello?" He says, slightly shocked. (Supposing Drew is willing...)
  10. Penmark continues to trot towards the library alone. Those ponies... he thought to himself. They're all so... energetic. Once at the library, Penmark took down the sign, showing that the library was now open. ((OOC: Penmark is now located at Twilight's library and the library is now open. And if Twilight is dead, then Penmark is old as dirt; so I'm calling it a no, personally.))
  11. Penmark didn't like this idea, not one bit. Something about these ponies... "I.. I have to go take care of some things," He hurriedly slipped out of his chair and was making for the door. The Library, I need to get back to the library...
  12. Penmark watched as the young mare, who had been creepily moving closer, fell down before them. He felt he should do something, but wasn't sure what. Is it customary to help a girl up? He wondered. Or is that kind of gesture frowned upon. He watched the mare get up and scoot away. He felt foolish for not being able to figure this out. "The park?" He snapped back to reality. "Yes, that sounds nice. Although, the library..." He remembered the library would probably remain untouched by the outside, and it was pretty large in there.
  13. "Yeah... I know... I'm Penmark, by the way." Penmark resides to silently staring at his sugar filled cup of coffee - which was now more sugar than coffee. He never liked Twilight being in the line of danger, especially when he wasn't around to help.
  14. "Yes," Penmark replied to the inquisitive pony. "Well... all I know was that the Elements were called together today, supposedly for a couple of days. So I just figured..." He takes another sip of his coffee, gives a sour expression, then puts it down on the table. Why do I keep forgetting that? He wonders. Noticing the flickering table, he has ceased his tapping and is now returned to staring out the window.
  15. "Twilight left a note for me today," He answered."It must've been sudden, or I would have heard more about it." He thought for a moment, then added. "You do know who Twilight Sparkle is, don't you?" He always made sure to add that last part; for some odd reason, despite Twilight Sparkle saving Equestria twice now, she was never really recognized for it.
  16. "I doubt that this is a terrorist attack, the Elements of Harmony don't get called in for a 'terrorist attack'," He replied to the mare beside him, whom he came to mentally call 'Bright-haired-mare'. He began to nervously tap the table with his hoof. What is so dangerous that they need the elements for? He wondered. Unknown to him, his tapping was rather loud and was getting on the nerves of some of the patrons of the restaurant.
  17. "Oh, it's nothing," He sighed, as he took a sip from his coffee. He gave a sour expression, then placed it back down. Glancing out the window, he saw another wave of troops march through town. "Isn't that odd," He muttered aloud.
  18. Penmark ordered his coffee, payed for it, and sat down by the window. He sighed, such a beautiful day out and Twilight was off doing something amazing... Absentmindedly, he begins to pour spoon-full after spoon-full into his cream-less coffee. ((OOC: I am seated between Starbolt and Octavinyl))
  19. Penmark was so distracted with thoughts about his coffee, that he didn't notice the mare in the doorway of Sugarcube Corner. Maybe some nice, da- His day dream was interrupted when he bumped into the previously mentioned mare, causing her to fall forward a little. Penmark, embarrassed by his own oafishness, hid his face under his hat and quickly made his way to the counter, hoping nobody saw was just happened.
  20. Penmark's stomach began to rumble. Right... breakfast... He had completely forgotten about it in his rush. He was just about to get something from the fridge, when he had an odd thought. Twilight did tell me to socialize more often, and I've hear the 'Sugarcube Corner' is pretty popular in the morning. The thought stuck, and he headed for the door. Before he went though, he remembered to put up the 'Out to Lunch' sign, despite it only being 10:00 A.M. Maybe a nice coffee... He thought as he tightened his tie. ((OOC: Library is not open, and Penmark is wearing the fedora and red tie, not the whole suit.))
  21. He knocks on the door to the library. "Hello? Twilight?" He calls out. "Something strange has being going on in town..." He calls receive no answer. Cautiously, he begins to open the door. "Twilight?" His voice vibrates through the house. Silence. He searches high and low, looking for some sign of Twilight. Eventually, he stumbles across a small note from Twilight: "Penmark, don't worry if I'm not there, I've gone to Canterlot to speak with the princess. Something urgent has come up, and she's called all of the Elements together. I'll be back in a couple of days, please watch over the library. There's plenty of food in the fridge, if you get hungry, Sincerely, Twilight Sparkle." Penmark sat on his haunches. He was distraught; Twilight was the closest thing to a 'mother' he actually had. He sighed and hung his head, wishing someone would come along to help ease the burden of his loneliness.
  22. Penmark peers out the window and stares at the armed forces marching through Ponyville. What this all about? He wonders to himself. Perhaps Twilight knows more about it... He resolves himself to go to the library and ask Twilight, but when he reaches the door, he stops. There was something she had said... something he couldn't quite remembered... He shrugged and exited his house. The military forces all marched by, across the street he could see Sugarcube corner and all its customer going about their daily lives; as if nothing were happening. How odd... Back in the books, that w- He shakes his head to clear out the thoughts. No, no... not again. I will not start thinking about that. He then proceeds to walk off to the Library.
  23. Oh, okay! Yeah, I know what you mean now, so I guess a fire-ax would be acceptable (It's common around here, at least).
  24. Wait, quick question: Are the survivors allowed to get the military based weapons, as well as the civilian? I wasn't quite sure what you meant by that.
  25. Just throw a Kangaroo to say hello in the evening. In the morning it's a Koala.
