    I submitted the start of a story to FiMFiction and I confused and frustrated. It has three likes, 8 dislikes and not one single comment. I am fine with people not liking my work, but I am confused as to why they won't tell me what they don't like.

      Little of the internet's users actually contribute to things like comments, actually. The vast majority just watches/reads stuff and votes on it, if applicable.
