  1. From my experience, trolls come in a wide variety of ages, tending to range from 12 to probably early to late 20's. Never underestimate the horrible nature of some people just because of their age.

  2. I walk basically anywhere that is in town. I cannot drive due to anxiety problems so I just walk. I enjoy that though. Either I will simply walk around town to get out, walk to the store, the local pizza place or up by the river to the river deck. ^-^ The river deck is lovely.

  3. Hi Kyoshi. Can you make a Fluttershy and Big Macintosh pair sig?

Could you possibly make one for me, themed after the anime Bleach?

I don't care what character, just choose one and make something up. :)

Both of these have been noted. :)

ALSO! I have an update for you all. I have added a few new siggies to the thread. Two of these are for the almighty Queen Chrysalis herself. One of them is a standard style while the other is a crystal version for the crystal pony subtheme! Pretty neat. Lastly, I have added a new signature for Button Mash, one that is themed after the Nintendo Game Boy. :3 I like that one a lot. No particular reason. X3 These of course have standard and donor variants.

That is all for now. ^-^

  4. There are just soooooooooooooooooo many things I cherish about the internet and I try to remind myself to be thankful for it.

The internet allows me to: Meet and chat with new people, chat with my wonderful boyfriend, watch videos that I truly enjoy, look up all sorts of things related to my enjoyments, discuss things like my joys and whatnot, shop online with extreme convenience, play games online, buy games digitally, listen to all sorts of music and discover new music too, share the signatures I have made with everyone for them to use freely, and so much more beyond that. The internet is just wonderful. It really is. <3 Without it, my life would be a lot different and honestly, a lot worse.

  5. According to the new episode, Big Mac used to be quite the talker. He seemed like the type to talk the ears off of ponies almost. XD Then he seemed to be far less talkative over time realizing that he might talk over others too much which could make him oblivious to an issue that arises which lead to the modern day Big Mac who is far more subtle in speech.

My question is this, which do you prefer? Do you like the much more talkative Big Mac of his olden days or do you more prefer the more silent Big Mac?

Me, I prefer the talkative one. Firstly, because he reminded me of me. When I start talking about something I enjoy, I tend to not shut up. Of course with him it was a different reason but I still feel a sort of connection to that. I also think his voice is rather lovely. Not too southern but it has that hint of it quite a bit and it is deep.

  6. You can call it stereotyping all you want fact is MLP is not Avatar the Last Airbender. Which both shows are family friendly. And one show clearly is more mature than the other. The original hook of this show was it was for girls. Kinda why we see mostly female characters in this show. Doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by people of all ages though. I'm 23 and I love the show. But compared to show's like Steven Universe (also family friendly) it is INCREDIBLY light-hearted.

It is not the fault of the show for people being hyped NO IT IS NOT. But the episode description IMPLIED AJ's lying got ponies in the hospital. Meaning people got hurt and injured. Nothing of the such happened in the episode. All that happened is AJ stopped Granny from almost performing surgery on Big Mac. The only ponies that were hurt were the ones already in the hospital which is NO FAULT of Applejack's lying. Also the episode description said and I quote "WHOLE APPLE FAMILY". Also implying we were going to see the Apple parents.

If this episode is supposed to teach us why honesty is good thing why is the episode description lie to us like so?

At least when the episode description is properly updated thanks the episode airing now, WE WILL GET THE TRUTH.

To me, a show being more light hearted than the other means nothing. It just means each show has its own style, its own flavor.

But, to each their own, don't want to debate this here.

  7. For the people that were upset with this episode I can understand why. THE HYPE surrounding this episode was it was supposed to explain the backstory behind the Apple parents. And the description of today's episode HEAVILY IMPLIED that Applejacks lying landed people in the hospital meaning people got hurt and injured. Which evidently wasn't the case. Applejack's lying had nothing to do with why people were in the hospital in this episode even though the episode description said it would.

A lot of people expect deep adult lessons in this show but no one remembers the demographic is little girls. The most mature this show has ever got was "Tanks for the Memories" and "No Second Prances". And I don't see a show like this teaching kids to deal with parental death in the family. And if the brony audience expects this show to explain what happened to the Apple parents. Well if the answer is what we believe WE WILL NEVER GET AN ANSWER! Because of this show's demographic...

I still enjoyed the episode nonetheless. Good moral, Good references, Great animation. BUT

The hype killed it for me - 6.5/10

I don't agree with that. The show's demographic? ?The demographic is family friendly, not little girls. I honestly really dislike people saying that these days, it supports too many stereotypes. For a family friendly show, seeing Applejack put her own family into a hospital is kinda brutal, especially if that would be the cause of the death of her parents. That is way too dark for a show like this and when I say that, I am referring to a show that has a very positive vibe and good messages, not that it is a 'little girls show'.

Sure, maybe some hyped themselves up too much, but that is not a fault of the show. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about it except taking a guess it was about Applejack at least and I really enjoyed it. Even still, I don't know hwy anyone was expecting something like that.

  8. I did! There were a couple of funny easter eggs in this episode.

Really good episode overall, though I did want to see baby Apple Bloom and understand why Big Mac really stopped talking.

I am guessing him realizing that he talked too much could have been the start and he probably was just talking less and less over time. Baby Bloom was definitely MIA though, I wanted to see her too. :c

I missed the Shining ponies so  I will have to look at that again but seeing Derpy was definitely chuckle worthy. XD

  9. Odd seeing some of the chat reactions saying this was a bad episode, I thought it was lovely. Granny Smith was hilarious, Big Mac being a huge talker when he was younger was a treat to see and it gave Filthy Rich more backstory as well as the Apple Family. Sure, the whole 'lie spiraling out of control' thing is a trope that has been done ot death, but doing that with who is now the Element of Honesty was a nice touch. I found the episode to be a very enjoyable watch with of course a wonderfully heartwarming ending. Two hooves up from me.  I really cannot think of anything I did not like here and Applejack is my least favorite from the mane 6 so that is saying something.

Also, they were going saw Big Mac's leg off. o_o

  10. So we all were...'blessed' with the alicorn super baby that is Flurry Heart. Ever since her first appearance I wondered if she would actually have a major role to play in anything other than the season premiere and if we would get some answers about her being a born-alicorn. Aliborn!

However, did we get any of this in the season? Nope. None. Flurry appears as a super important thing in the premiere and afterwards fades into obscurity completely for the rest of the season. She has had no important role, she has not been explained, she just poofs in out of nowhere and now is basically a background pony. Where was the episode with cute interactions between her and aunty Twily? Or any of the other ponies? With such an important status that she has and so much mystery surrounding her, I was thinking we would see her more and get more out of it, yet we never did.

Sure, this all could happen in season 7, but right now it feels like the writers have now forgotten about her after her one major appearance, which was her first appearance. She seems completely wedged in the show for no reason now.

Anyone else feel this way? To me, Flurry just seems entirely pointless now. A candy coated super baby that possibly exists only because of toys.

  11. This is definitely a huge plot hole in the finale for sure. It doesn't bother me as much as it does some others but I can see why it is an issue. It could just be immense numbers that took them out possibly during the night. Sleeping is a definite way to be captured by an army like them. XD Though it also begs the question how so many important ponies were captured without absolute chaos ensuing in Equestria. Literally every single royalty figure was captured and Equestria was like, eh, another day.

  12. Wait, Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts in the same episode possibly with Rainbow being put into a positive light? Give this to me nooooooooooooooooow. After Newbie Dash, I will take what I can get.

Interesting combo with RD and Twilight too, so that will be neat to see. I like this idea for the episode, just please make Rainbow look competent for once.

  13. I still call them changelings. I mean, it is what they are still. Reformed Changelings I guess can be another term but it doesn't roll off the tongue that well. That or Fabulous Changelings. Fabulings.

About the toys, it is possible. The use of such bright colors could mean they wanted a more happy looking form of the changelings themselves. I myself am fine with the new design, but I am in the same ballpark as AV, the colors are just...off. Too many bright colors colliding with each other with little consistency. The older colors meshed together so very well and I would have preferred them keeping those colors for the new design, but it is what it is I guess.

  14. I gave my opinion in a different thread but overall I was pleasantly surprised with this one.

Not being a huge fan of Starlight, I was expecting it to focus on her mostly and it would not be that enjoyable. It did focus on her mostly and I actually liked that. o_o We got to see more of a weakness in her character, being afraid to lead and being overwhelmed in a social setting, that was refreshing to see. Trixie was also great fun and the chemistry between these two is friggin' great.

Another aspects that really surprised me was Discord. Normally when he is on the scene, he is too busy being witty and pranky to actually be important, but this time, with their magic being useless in a lot of it, he was so much better than he has been recently. ?He felt like he was part of the group and part of this overall goal. That was great, especially seeing him be so determined to rescue Flutters, it was cute. <3

Then we get to Chrysalis herself. Her entrance was immensely creepy and I liked that. She had more movements like a bug-like creature which is another aspects I was not expecting. Now, the changelings have been reformed, and I am fine with that, though if I had one major complaint about this finale, it is the color design of them. The colors just seem....off. Randomly placed with no consistency. It just seems weird. Kinda which they would have stayed with the same color palette as before but with the new design. Still, I am happy to see the changelings now have peace and Chrysalis is still pretty determined to mess things up, so it is a win-win.

So overall, I enjoyed this finale faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more than the Cutie Re-Mark. It was fun, tense in certain parts and had so many wonderful character moments. I think it deserves a solid 9/10. It is also weird how much I enjoyed a finale that barely had the mane 6 present. I guess that was an interesting change of pace as well.

Pretty happy about this finale. ^___^

  15. I believe people have had valid reasons for disliking her. One of my main reasons was how insanely powerful she is with little justification and that still has not been justified, but overall, I don't actually dislike her at this point. There are aspects of her that I don't like but her character overall has grown on me a little. This is mostly thanks to the finale. I would like to learn a bit more about her past to know more about her abilities and why she is so good at it, but in the end, she is decent at this point.

  16. Severe weather was always something that scared me and fascinated me at the same time. I am terrified of tornadoes and supercell thunderstorms, yet I tend to look up videos of these things all the time. It is strange. Living in Indiana, the severe weather season around here seems to mostly be in the Fall months now, so it will be interesting to see if anything pops up. If it was out in a field, I would actually really like to see a supercell thunderstorm with a tornado. They are both such powerful things.
