I think G4 is the scarier of the two. Rather than making monsters and having them do his bidding. Tirek, once he started gaining power, became a nearly godlike force that almost couldn't be stopped by anything. He was really weak and feeble at the start but to see him gain so much power is intimidating.

He is supposed to be unlikable... You are not supposed to root for him, you are supposed to hope that he gets better...
That episode was executed very well and was one the best episodes of the season.
That's the problem, he never got better. He was a prick throughout the entire episode and by the end, all I was was that he was now a prick that could style hair. That didn't do anything for me.

I tend to see the common house spiders around my house, which I guess that is the best case scenario in terms of spiders. They tend to keep to themselves and catch other bugs, so as long as they are not crawling on me, then whatever.

I can think of two:
Newbie Dash: A complete mockery of Rainbow Dash and everything she has done up to this point and it spits all over her dream while making the Wonderbolts look like assholes that try to justify themselves. Easily my most hated episode of the series and that really is saying something.
Flutter Brutter: Flutter's parents are a real treat, but the main focus, her brother Zephyr Breeze, is dreadful. He is such an unlikable douche yet the episode is trying to make us root for him. By the end of the episode, I still hated him just as much as the start and I feel like that is a sign of something wrong.
Every other episode of the season is at minimum passable to me.

Claymotions, or Clay Animations, are a magical form of media. Popularly used for movies like Chicken Run and the Wallace and Gromit series, this style has also been used for many animations that are uploaded to the internet.
So without further ado, what are some of your favorite Claymations of all time?
My favorites have always been the Knox Klaymen animations and this particular video is possibly my favorite episode is 'Friends No More'.

The Pickle is hilarious. XD
Another great one is Pancake Mines.

While don't strictly consider this show to be a 'children's show' like most in the fandom apparently do, I still don't think they would ever do this. Having any character be specifically killed that isn't a super baddie is potentially a disaster waiting to happen. The fandom could potentially implode, again.

I don't think it would work for an entire story arc, but a singular episode? That could get a ton of focus and it could be great. This might not be the best idea for this particular thing but I thought of something where he is not considered a hero because of big adventures and whatnot, but a hero for his support to his family. Something like that, I like the idea of it, though it may not match this description.

I personally think that Hey Arnold had a lot more risks taken. I mean, the Vietnam War is a key focal point to one of the characters backstories of all things. I was never overly fond of both and both could be very close in quality, but I pick Arnold for the more riskier take on the genre.

Mostly feeling depressed tonight for some reason. Trying to enjoy things yet that is near impossible right now.

I sorta agree here. Starlight is messing up so much that while I don't think she should be ran out of Ponyville, she needs some stricter guidelines. The latest episode was straight up mind control and we saw the results the last time she sorta did that. There needs to be restrictions with what she can do. It is a shame because I sorta like the concept of Starlight, I think she can be a great subject for friendship itself and with that being the theme of the entire show, it should work, but so far I am just not convinced about her.

No, I am just guessing, it might not happen for while, considering Disney owns Marvel, and 20th Century Fox would have to deal with Konami again, same thing with Disney. It kinda sucks that that is the way the world of copyright works.
I would love to have the marketplaces keep those games permanently so everyone can experience them.
I luckily got TMNT, Simpsons, and X-Men on my Xbox 360, but feel sorry that a lot of users missed out, they will never be able to witness the majesty of the arcade scene in the early 90's...
You never know, they could one day go backwards compatible on the One, though we all know that Konami is kinda anti-gamer at this point, but hopefully one day. the X-Men and Simpsons games are ones I would love to try and my 360 went out a long time ago. XD

If you want a good beat-em-up arcade game, try either Turtles in Time or X-Men (This can play up to 6 players!), maybe a bit of The Simpsons.
X-Men is alot of fun with 5 other people, so when they re-release all these games on the PS4 and XBONE, get them while you can, they are worth the money in the long run!
Are they re-releasing them?
I actually got the chance to play Turtles in Time in an arcade near here, they have a lot of old-school games but not many beat-em-ups, besides TMNT of course. I twas pretty good fun.

Dig-Dug and Galaga are some of my favorite classic arcade titles. :3 I still play those on the One. Now the beat-em-up genre is one I want to play more games for, never experienced all that many back in the day.

I love this idea. <3 Especially like the idea of Twilight and Starlight. Perhaps Starlight casts a regression type of spell but perhaps doesn't know how to reverse it, then Twilight could step in. Could give Twilight a chance to shine more this season, she really hasn't had much of that at all this season, it could be a chance to show that Starlight is not as overpowered as she seems, being that she doesn't know how to reverse some spells and of course, seeing the others as fillies again would be soooo cute. <3 Sadly this is an episode I don't think will ever happen but it would be great fun. Imagine little Rainbow Dash being all showboaty and such despite who now small stature. XD

I mainly had two focuses before: The Funko Vinyls and pretty much any MLP plushie I could find. Nowadays I have toned back just to save money and my collection now is pretty fine as it is. ^__^

This was a very enjoyable episode, though I really got a huge sense of Starlight being a (and I hate using this term) 'Mary Sue' in terms of magic. Sure, she isn't all that great at the friendship thing but her magical abilities seem insanely overdone. I am very happy that we finally got more development for her but it also felt like a slight step back before taking steps forward. I really liked the moral though, I know the feeling of being afraid of doing things with other people, so the ending was really nice and sincere. Plus there was a lot of parts that had me laughing so that is another big plus. Lot more humor than I expected.
So all in all I really liked this episode, the only major gripe is the beginning and Starlight continuing to be overpowered, but everything else was pretty good.
I am still not entirely convinced on Starlight herself though.

These days, a PG-13 movie to me seems more like a 'Naughty PG' rating. PG-13 films tend to have some slight sexual humor and a bit of harsh language and that's it. The moment violence comes into play is when a PG-13 movie has a difficult time keeping that rating, when originally it was meant for that kind of thing. When a film had enough violent content where parents should be warned but not enough to bring out the R rating. Nowadays it seems most films try to avoid any kind of major violence altogether because it seems to be a difficult fine line to stay on.

Pretty much every Eiffel 65 song gives me a trip of nostalgia. X3 I listened to them all the time when I was younger.
Tons of video game music gives me nostalgia as wlel, like the Megaman X soundtrack, Dynasty Warriors 4 music, the music form Sim Theme Park, the theme from Rollercoaster Tycoon, the entire Super Mario World soundtrack and so many others. <3

What Ashi said. I think they are incredibly skilled salesponies but they choose to use that skill to con other ponies. That conning doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. XD

Ever since I was about 10 years old and realized my mortality, death is something I have absolutely been horrified by and with my horrid anxiety problems, that stress is only getting worse in time. As I get older, I fear more and more of getting some horrible disease, or something similar. That has been a huge fear of mine. Death is something that purely scares me beyond belief, so I try as much as I can to just enjoy things to distract myself form those thoughts. I friggin hate it when it worries me to the point of absolute stress. :c I really does get to me at times.

I am sure when I was little I lied about all sorts of little things, but nowadays I try to be as honest as I can be. Lying is not worth the trouble.

You are incorrect on that by the way. As far as I know, Halloween is entirely Pagan in origin and frankly, there is nothing wrong with that. All of those other things you mentioned about Halloween, it is all good fun. It is just people having a good time. That is what all holidays are. Technically, holidays are no different than any other day, but the human race has decided to make them into something different, for fun and enjoyment.
Sure, there are some holidays I am not into, but the concept of holidays is something I like.

I actually have, once. I was really little when I did this, so, I don't blame myself entirely. XD I was at my babysitter's house and her kid had this little car thingy, one of those that you push back and let it go and it goes crazy. Well, I fell in love with that little toy, so I sorta put it in my pocket before my mom picked me up. Needless to say I got a lecture after that though. So it was like, 5 year old me that stole something.
Since then, haven't stolen anything.

There is a local place in my town that makes pizza and they know exactly how I like my pizza. Which is insanely boring. XD I only get a classic pepperoni but they typically ask people if they want any extras and what kind of crust or cheese they want. With me, they know exactly what to make the instant I walk in.

Are the writers divided on making Twilight a Mary Sue?
in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I think they are too busy making Starlight be a mary sue to do anything with Twilight at all. I cannot think of anything that Twilight has ddne this season that Starlight hasn't done and possibly did it better, because reasons.
