  1. This finale was done incredibly well in so many ways. Most probably know I am not a huge fan of Starright but this finale may change that, at least to me liking her. The interactions between her and Trixie were cute and her having that breakdown felt very down to Earth, or Equestria rather. Discord was also amazing here, because he wasn't just being zany non-stop. The disabling magic throne was a neat touch as it added suspense, though how Chrysalis could still use her own magic is odd. Then we had the ending, with Thorax becoming changeling god with them having a new design. I like the design but I hate the colors. Such a weird combination that doesn't blend well, but it is what it is. Chrysalis staying evil was expected, they teased a reformation but I was certain going in that she was gonna stay herself. It will be interesting to see if anything else comes from that.

So I had my doubts but I liked this finale far more than the Cutie Remark. Crazy how this finale barely had the mane 6 at all and it turned out this good. Actually felt like a nice change of pace.

  2. My suggestion is white noise of some kind, or a noise that relaxes you. So perhaps and app on a mobile device that can play a white noise in the background while you sleep. Something like that, could be white noise, could be the sound of rain falling, whatever works. Have that up loud enough, preferably without headphones and that could work. It does depend on if the other person can hear in but in my experience if a snoring friend would stay over for the night, they never would wake up because of that noise.

  3. She doesn't seem like a character that deserves it. Think about it. She did a ton of evil things to other ponies, she has an ungodly amount of magical power for no reason which she has used several times already to do something else and have it horribly backfire, and we have seen her accomplish what, 3-4 friendship lessons? Twilight went through far more than that in season 1 alone.

For me, Starlight has not had enough character development, she hasn't had a good enough explanation for her being insanely overpowered, she hasn't shown that much growth throughout this entire season and her being an alicorn, to me, would make about as much sense as Flurry Heart being one. Which is no sense whatsoever. If she does become one, fine, whatever, I can deal with it, I just really wish they would have done more with her first. I mean, with her interactions with Trixie and some other characters, I am starting to like her a bit, but I wanted more of that in this season.

  4. The horror genre is a mixed bag of epic proportions. There are tons of styles out there that directors use to portray the genre in their own way, but this is really hit and miss. Sometimes it can be creepy, other times it just seems like a sad attempt at being spooky but it just fails.

So with any kind of media like this, movies, TV shows, internet videos, what kind of horror in these actually can scare you? What truly gets to you and makes you go 'Nope.'?

For me, one of them is a simple thing and one that a lot of films these days cannot seem to do right, the unknown. Simply put, not knowing what is out there freaks me out. Take for example, the Blair Witch Project. One of the things that really makes me uncomfortable when watching that film is that, the entire time, you know something is out there, stalking the people in the film and at night in some scenes, what is out there could be shrouded just in the darkness unseen, but it is there, yet you don't know what it is. When a movie can do that properly like the Blair Witch Project did, it makes me afraid to look out of my window at night. XD

  5. While I wish people would not have left over this situation, I will say this, and this is just my view on things: My view on certain aspects of Poniverse have been tainted by what I learned and what I have seen during all of that. Simply put, I now have more of a cautious eye for some things here. I love these forums, been here for over 4 years and that isn't changing at all, but I cannot say that my view on certain parts of it did not come out unscathed during the huge debacle.

I just hope things overall get better over time.

  6. That's the dream, hopefully the launch will be much better than BF4. Luckily the servers are also going to be running at 60 ticks rather than the 30 that BF4 does. The beta was a little buggy but nothing game breaking.

That is true. Didn't the beta have over 10 million players? That was probably a very good test run for the servers. I have a feeling Dice has learned from BF4.

  7. Scootaloo and Rainbow both share a very distinct trait in the show: We know literally nothing about their family. We don't know anything about their parents, their siblings if they have any, not even cousins. I find this incredibly odd since these are the two that share a bond with each other. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe we can get an episode in which both are explored? How awesome would that be? So many mysteries would be solved and perhaps in that episode, Rainbow can sorta adopt Scootaloo as a sister or something. Problem solved. :3

  8. I know the vast majority of people are not surprised with this so I am in the minority here. I actually was not convinced that there would be a season 7 after the movie. I was more in the line of thinking that the movie was going to be the grand finale of the entire series, though I did not want that to happen. So now I am happy. ^__^ Makes me wonder now how the movie will affect the show, like, what will happen? :o

  9. Probably go with pony in Equestria and human here. Keep things simple. If I could go back and forth at will, I could be a pony any time I wish so I could have best of both worlds. ^__^ I would also be one of the only gamer ponies in Equestria apparently. Well, me and any other gamers who go there. :P

  10. Considering Battlefield 4 was awesome, I am quite excited for this one. The fact that it is World War 1 is really interesting because we almost never see games in that era. Speaking of Battlefield 4, I just hope we do not see a launch like BF4 with all of the crashes, bugs and server problems. That tainted what was actually a really good game for a lot of people and once it was fixed up, the game was amazing but the bad launch gave it a rough reputation. I don't want to see that this time Dice and EA.
