Shadow had put up a barrier to cover the remaining debris that fell. Looking back he knew something wasn't right either, quickly he put up a barrier behind the rubble pile. This way anyone or anything coming through would be delayed at least a little bit. "Come on everypnoy we have to make a run for it!" Shadow started off keeping the flame well lit so that everypony could see in front of them as they ran through the tunnel. It would be a bit of a run but it would be worth it, once they got to the forest they'd have some safety...well minus the twisted creatures that probably now inhabited the forest.

Shadow made sure everything was set and in place. He did a double and triple check to make sure that the magic seals on all the doors and windows were set. Should anypony except for him try to enter they would be met with a very explosive greeting. "Alright everypony this tunnel will lead us out of the city and into the forest. Once we make it through there we'll be in the black valley and we'll have to be extremely careful while going through. We'll be heading to a mountain that has a castle buried into it, from my lore it was the last spot where Discord took on the Princesses and ended up winning." Shadow hopped down into the tunnel and used his magic to create a fire ball spell illuminating the path. "Everypony ready?"

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow grumbled at what Firelight said, he was right but that wasn't the issue. "I'm not saying that you shouldn't have helped her. It's just that you acted without thinking of the consequences. What if you had brought the guard with you...there's already a bounty out on your head and soon to be one on me for aiding in your escape. I doubt my blades could stop millions of screaming bullets coming at my face or even Sky's." Shadow let out a low sigh as he looked at Sky and the new mare that she was trying to comfort. "Look time isn't on our side in this and we'll still need to train both of them if we're going to survive getting to my contact. Speaking of which..." Shadow walked to the living room, moving the couch and then the rug it was on away reveling a hidden door. His black magic aura lifted the door open. "We need to get going, I don't mean to cut the greetings short but if we don't get out of town now we'll have a bigger problem on our hooves."

@@WhiteGuardian, @@Aurora Lights, @ Shadow saw the worry on Sky's face and gave a sigh. "Don't worry they went to help somepony that was in trouble. They should be back here any minute." Just as Shadow was saying that he heard trotting coming from the stairwell and sure enough there was Firelight. Oh great he's carrying somepony with him as if this group wouldn't stick out enough as it is now. Shadow thought, looking at Firelight with distrust for running off, he let out a agitated sigh. "So who do we have with us now?"

It had been a week since just the second day of school and already Corona had made a name for herself and she'd met the stallion of her dreams in Sterling. Over the last week they'd gotten closer, they had been hanging out more and more. Unfortunately due to the training schedule that she was on it left for little time, but they'd managed to work around it. Corona had one thing that she really wanted to do and that was see Sterling's house, she wanted to see what the real Sterling was like at home. Corona woke up early and looked at her calender and saw that it was the day before the first game, and against Canterlot High no doubt. Corona grabbed her things and left for her early morning practice, she was hoping that Sterling would be there for the practice to see how good she was. Oh I can't wait for the game tonight I hope Sterling will be there to watch me in the game. Oh and I can't forget about the Princess, she'll be there too. Corona flew towards the school with excitement.

@@WhiteGuardian, @@Aurora Lights Shadow stopped mid-track and looked at the ground and growled in frustration. He was close to the safe house, he could go and protect Sky for Firelight. Shadow let out a sight I'm going to kill them myself if they don't make it back in an hour. Shadow reached his hideout and used his magic to unlock the door. "Sky it's me Shadow, I came back to make sure you were ok." Shadow had left the brick wall open, a risky move but if it allowed Firelight and the others back in easier then it would be alright. (Sorry for not posting until now had early work this morning and then crashed once I got home.)

@@WhiteGuardian, @@Aurora Lights Shadow growled running after the two. "Sky you stay here and lock the doors until we come back!! Don't let anypony in unless you're sure it's us!!" Shadow ran after them making it to the scene of the crime once there he looked around and pulled his blades back to him and sheathed them. Shadow walked up to Firelight and growled quietly. "You two are idiots you know that. We're trying to lay low and here you are running around through the streets and who knows who could've seen us. You're putting all of us in danger especially Sky." Shadow started back towards the hideout, he wanted to make it back to Sky.

@@Aurora Lights Shadow stopped when he heard the knock on the door. He walked over to the door and magically had his blades at the ready, while he used his magic to envelope the door. Shadow opened it quickly and reacted with great speed, his two blades held closely to the intruders throat while his katana was poised for the chest. "Who are you and how did you find my hideout, it's very well concealed!?" Shadow wouldn't kill unless he had to do so, but this was a very threatening case. Somepony had found his secure hideout and could very well be somepony sent to kill them. Shadow was ready to take action in a split second, and if necessary he was ready with high level magic.

(we are at my characters hideout getting ready to leave to make our way to my contact.) Shadow watched as Firelight walked around with Sky, Shadow didn't want to admit it but for a loner he was actually glad to be in a small group. But he knew that they would have to keep Sky safe until she was able to fend for herself. "Would you like to get a small training session in with Sky before we leave Firelight? I have some last minute things to take care of."

Shadow watched with shock as Firelight inhaled the food, shaking his head back into reality. "If you'd like to, you can bring any food from here with us. We most likely won't be coming back for a while. You see my contacts meet up is in the black valley outside the city." Shadow felt a chill up his spine. It wasn't anyplace safe for anypony least of all ponies unprepared or unskilled in combat. "Once every ponies ready we'll head out." Shadow took this time to start sharpening his blades and fill some water bottles.

Shadow nodded to Fire light before heading into the kitchen to grab a sandwich. He pulled some extra ones out and took them over to Firelight. "Here I figured you guys could use some food...especially you Firelight. I'm not sure what they were feeding you but it couldn't have been very good." Shadow walked over to his gear levitating his gear on and buckling it on.

Shadow could see his sister in the distance screaming for him to come help her. He ran as fast as he could but he couldn't seem to get close enough. He watched in horror as three shadowy ponies stabbed her, he screamed in horror. Waking up from his nightmare in panic and cold sweat, looking around the dark room he could've sworn he saw his sister watching him. Shadow looked at the time and noticed that it was dusk, slowly he got up and whipped his eyes before leaving his room to wake up Firelight and Sky.

OK got a quick question just so I'm on the same page. Are Equinox and jack in my safe house and bout to fight?

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow saw the look on Sky's face and when he saw Firelight walk out of the bathroom Shadow smiled. It was new to him, he hadn't smiled in a long time. Shadow got up and nodded to Sky. "I should get some more sleep we've only got a few more hours till nightfall. Everything will be answered or should be by tonight...for all of us." Shadow nodded and dismissed himself and headed back towards his room.

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow chuckled lightly. "I'm sorry but I can't tell you who my employer is because even I don't know. When we met she was hidden only leaving me a pouch of coins and gems. She told me to find a pony named Firelight so that's what I've been doing. She's apparently trying to put together a resistance to win back Equestria and make it liveable again with peace and harmony." Shadow could see the look of confusion about her. "I only made the assumption that you and Firelight were together cause he was the one who wanted to rescue you so I figured you two were an item."

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow let out a sigh when he thought about the reasons, it was going to be hard for him to talk about. "Well for one I did it for the money but mostly I did this for a more personal reason." Shadow took a deep breath. "I'm doing this because I want to see this world back to the way it once was. I lost my little sister to a gang attack...my parents left her to die because they couldn't afford to feed both of us. I want it to be a work where nopony looses someone they love ever again and that includes you two. My employer assures me that she can fix all of this."

Shadow tossed and turned in his sleep, he hadn't had a decent night's sleep in years. He woke up with a yelp, panting and sweating. He looked at the picture frame on his desk that had a torn picture with only Shadow and his sister. "I'm sorry...I wish I could've done something to save you." Shadow whipped away a few tears before checking the time. They had a few more hours before nightfall but for now he rolled over and did his best to go back to sleep. (Fixed my post. lol)

@, @@WhiteGuardian Shadow nodded and pointed in the direction off to the right at a wooden door. "There are towels in the cupboard inside, and extra wash supplies as well." Shadow winced when he felt Equinox tending to his wound. "I kinda caught that back at the arena...it's quite the curse. But one could also play it off as a blessing in the right situations...such as the one at the arena. Anyway thanks for the help both there and here I appreciate it." Shadow levitated his gear onto a hanging wall hook and headed towards his room. "Like I said make yourselves at home. The couch pulls out to a mattress, come nightfall we leave without delay." Shadow shut the door behind him, laying down on his bed he slowly drifted off to remember the fun he use to have with his little sister.

@, @@WhiteGuardian Shadow was shocked when he felt Firelight pick him up suddenly and started running down the alley. Shadow directed them to the left flowing them into the crowd. He then directed them down two alleys before stopping at a solid brick wall. Shadow let out a small fireball that went into a hole in the wall before growing in size and it lit some lighting a strange pattern. The bricks moved apart and opened to a hidden stairwell, Shadow motioned for the group to head down the stairs. The bricks closed as they headed down at the end was a steel door with a magic seal. Shadow hopped off and limped inside, it was a quaint little place having saved up the money to have it built in secret. "This is my safe house make yourselves comfortable until nightfall and then we'll move. Equinox I'm not sure how I feel about you yet but I'll trust you enough to patch me up if you'd like."

Shadow sliced through two more guards before he turned. That was his biggest mistake. Shadow felt himself get hit with a rifle round in his right shoulder dropping him to the ground. Shadow got up in pain before putting his injured hoof on Firelight. Shadow's horn glowed white before he teleported the three of them out of the arena and out into the main town. Shadow limped to his short blade and picked it up sheathing it for the time. "Come we have to make it to my safe house until nightfall. Then we can go meet my contact." Shadow started limping down the alley. (OOC: last post till I get home unless I get a free moment.)

Shadow nodded in agreement before drawing his katana and one of his short blades. Using his magic he shot his katana into the VIP box and the other blade outside. Shadow quickly grabbed Firelight after he'd left the fire orb and teleported both of them into the box thanks to the teleportation spell on his blade handles. Once inside Shadow took his blade and cut down any ponies in his way. "Hurry and get her!!! Teleporting three ponies isn't going to be easy!"

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow stopped next to Firelight and erupted a orb of pure fire along with a while that surrounded both of them but keeping them hidden behind the flames. Shadow looked back at Firelight. "Nows the time to choose either come with me and see your love again when it's safe or stay here and die. My employer is very interested in meeting you, she wants to change things in Equestria and make it harmonious again."

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow continued to struggle with Firelight holding his own but refusing to use his blades at the moment. Shadow managed to roll Firelight onto his back before slamming both blades magically into the ground on both sides of his head. "Because I'm the only pony standing between your death in here and seeing your beloved again. And I'm not saying I'm killing you. There's a reason why there has never been a champion in this arena." Shadow jumped off Firelight and drew all three blades and mouthed to the stallion "Do we have an agreement?" It was then Shadow saw another stallion jump in and before he could react he was in a containment field. But thankfully the pit boss allowed them to continue. Shadow looked at the other pony and glared. "I'm not committing treason there are no rules correct plus what's wrong with a good fight?"

@@WhiteGuardian Shadow jumped into the mix drawing his katana and lurching towards Firelight. Shadow missed on purpose digging his blade into the ground and moving within ear shot while stopping the flail with his two short blades. Shadow had a hoof on Firelights head holding him from attacking. "Firelight...you want out right...well I'm here to help you." Shadow grunted quietly. Shadow pushed the other stallion back and kept at him with his short blades using magic to keep them moving.
