This has to be the most hilarious troll job I have seen in a long time.

This will be quite the rare blogpost from me, one where I talk about work without going into rant mode. As those of you who read my blog posts know I am a dairy clerk at a grocery store, not a fate I want to be lifelong but one I am stuck with at least for now. But I am being presented with an opportunity I may never get again if I do not seize it. I am strongly considering becoming a Receiver and because the current Receiver at my store is likely going to be retiring soon I have the best chance I may ever have to eventually take his place once he does decide to retire.
For those that don't know, a Receiver is a back room manger. The Receiver is responsible for checking in all loads that come into the store during their shift, they count everything that comes in and log it into the computer. They are also responsible for signing in and out all delivery truck drivers and vendors/merchandisers as well as being responsible for all mark downs as well as keeping the back room clean and organized at all times. It is not an easy job by any means but it is one that I believe will greatly benefit me for the following reasons.
1. I will no longer have to deal with customers: I will be confined to the backroom all day which means that while I will have to deal with vendors and other employees I know exactly how to handle them. Because my current job also has me as a backup checker I often have to deal with the public which because I am the worst checker in that whole store results in a lot of frustration on both my part as well as the customers and a few misunderstandings that aren't my fault but still occasionally get me in trouble.
2. I will be significantly less likely to get another injury: because being a Receiver is much more mental than it is physical the odds of me getting another knee injury will go down to practically zero.
3. Better hours: I was at my happiest when I was first promoted and had 4AM shifts and with me being a Receiver I can have those sort of shifts once again so I can get work out of the way and have the rest of my day. My days off will also be fairly consistent with them nearly always being Wednesday and Sunday. With that kind of schedule I could plan a lot more during the day and get much more done. My hours will go up but despite that I will be able to make much more efficient use of my day.
It is not something I am taking lightly and I of course am formulating backup plans in case it dosen't work out but I believe I will be much happier in such a position and better able to achieve my more long term goals.

Starting this coming Tuesday I am returning to school so I requested my vacation from work that week so I wouldn't have to worry about work for the first week I come back and my request was granted. My vacation technically starts tomorrow but since I am always off Sundays anyway I might as well call today the start. Today has pretty much been a typical lazy Sunday for me for the most part but it is tonight I am looking forward to the most. Tonight it is John Cena vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE world title, I was originally going to order pizza for the occasion but I was so wiped out from yet another hellish day at work that I just did that last night so I am grilling burgers instead.
I will be taking 3 classes and all of them are going to be fairly easy. I tried to take English 100 but it turns out I have to take the English placement test once every couple of years or so which nobody bothered telling me so that is going to have to wait until next semester. I am taking Music Appreciation to get a requirement I didn't even know about done, I myself am a musician but even if I wasn't it is an easy A and history is my major and my best subject so I am also taking US Since/Through Reconstruction (I don't remember exactly which one) and this Career Search class that is not starting until October.
I am strongly considering becoming a history teacher but if I do it I will probably be a college professor so I hopefully don't have to bullshit kids with all the propaganda they are trying to shove down their throats in K-12. Nevertheless the career search class may still give me a few additional options as well and perhaps point me in the right direction should I go the teacher route. Also Tales of Xillia 2 is coming out the first day of school so I am going to pick that sucker up after school.
Of course aside from school and relaxation I also hope to get a few things done during this time. I hope to get at least one chapter of my fanfics Rarity Gets Cockroaches and Sweet Guano Acres done as well as get this car fixed up that will be mine once I get my drivers license. It has been agreed by everyone involved including yours truly that since it will be the car I am driving it is best that I take my test in that car. A few other assorted matters like fixes around the house as well of course are also in order I am going to enjoy the time I have off, it sure came at the right time.

It has been a lot busier at work lately than is usually the case for this time of year for me which on one hand is good because I need the money because I am getting my drivers license soon and though I will already have a car (getting it fixed up now) I will still of course have to pay insurance and gas and stuff once I do get it. But it is also not so great because I have been back for maybe a month or so from a 3 month long knee injury. I overdid it on Saturday and the rain sure didn't help so I had to leave early and call in sick Monday because of it.
Apparently one of the main competitors of the store I work at has gone on strike which means more business for the store I work at because most customers will not go to the trouble of crossing a picket line. The union contract was renewed recently and it seemed like all the stores were on board but I guess this one company apparently has a stick up its ass or something.
Of course the timing couldn't be any worse for me because the opening diary clerk is going on vacation next week meaning I will be the opener for at least a few shifts next week and I start school the week after. I for sure will have Tuesdays and Thursday off from that point on for class and have requested my vacation for that week but I don't know how long that strike is going to last and of course there is the whole matter of most of my other days being rather long and busy.
I got overwhelmed last fall to the point where I became suicidal and I am taking as many precautions as I can to not hit rock bottom like that again due to that constant monkey on my back named burnout but there are still no guarantees.
Of course at least this week wasn't as much of a cluterfuck as last week. Last week a load wasn't sent properly and it resulted in it not being sent until 7PM the next night on a non refrigerated truck. Yes, you heard that shit right. If the health department saw that I guarantee you some heads would roll. What knucklehead thought that was a good idea?

Yesterday was my first, well technically my second day I was opening dairy clerk at work since I came back from my most recent knee injury (not counting the other one because it was only 4 hours). Monday is one of the toughest days to open for because it is a 2 day wall load (yogurt, cheese and everything that isn't covered by the milk load) and I get in most of my add items making my load more like a 4 day load. Of course things tended to go from bad to worse the very second I actually walked in. My section was a complete train wreck with holes everywhere and nothing faced up. Sunday is a repack day so it should be an easy day but since my store gets so much business at night the night time checkers who sometimes function as backup dairy clerk often do not have enough time to be back there when the store gets busy.
I intended to do juice first but they just had to pick this day of all days to teach me how to order milk which is pretty much the only thing I still didn't know how to do. I knew how to order for a wall load but still not milk. I have to tell you while ordering milk is not nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be to say it is a pain in the ass is an understatement. It requires me to count literally everything that is both on the shelf and in the cooler and write it all down which is extremely tedious, boring and takes FOREVER. It took me a good solid hour to write all that down and I tried to tell them that I wasn't sure if I got this one right but the numbers were all entered in the computer anyway which makes me hope I didn't fuck that particular one up too bad because I wasn't even sure what in the hell that particular product was supposed to be.
After that was done I had a mess of empty milk crates to clean up in the cooler that I had to keep trying not the trip over when I was ordering the damn milk load for the next day. I keep telling the backup dairy clerk not to leave a bunch of empty milk crates all over the floor and there is even a sign on the cooler door telling them that but
THEY DON'T LISTEN!!!
This is both extra work for whoever the opening dairy clerk is which was me and is a safety hazard because I can't even begin to tell all of you how many times I almost tripped over those things.
After that was done I took my first break and got back to work. I had to borrow a bunch of juice from a display that is on add and had to rebuild that entire end by replacing 2 shelves with yogurt so we wouldn't have a giant hole. Luckily I had some help for a little while. he filled the juice which was great until all these customers kept appearing out of nowhere and we both got stuck in the torture chamber/checkstands. Whatever moron thought it was a good idea to make dairy clerks backup checkers really needs to be slapped. I was up there for so much that I wasn't even able to finish filling the eggs before I had to go to lunch.
I was back from lunch and there were still these rushes that kept coming out of nowhere while I was trying to fill what repack we had while I was still waiting on my load which was at that point around 2 hours late. I look at the invoice and find out that 356 cases (not including the add items which would really add up to at least 600 cases) were ordered for that day which I guess looking at the holes and the lack of product in the back wasn't much of surprise. I could of course understand the need to go big but what pissed me off is that this had to be done because not nearly enough was ordered for Saturdays load.
So 1 o clock rolls around and my load finally shows up give or take about 3 or 4 hours late. It takes a while for the load to be delivered so by time I had everything broken down it was around 2:30 or so. Because the warehouse are too lazy to actually do things right a lot of the product that came in was damaged so there was a bunch of stuff that was in produce crates all stacked up in a watermellon box. I decided I was not going to worry about that at all because I didn't have time to anyway. I was able to stock some of the load before I got there and fill the milk but I am sorry to say didn't have enough time for anything else. So the opening dairy clerk for today is going to walk into an even worse mess than I did yesterday. I do work today but was originally slated to check expiration dates of course given the situation I explain I will probably have to help the opener catch up so she can write an accurate order for Wednesday.

This was originally typed as a response to the following blog post by Rockin Rarity
http://mlpforums.com/blog/255/entry-12464-sailor-moons-comeback-a-fan-reaction-to-fan-reactions/
I have been a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan since I was 6 years old and the reaction of Sailor Moon fans to this kind of reminds me of the reactions of some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans to the classic cartoon. The original comic was very dark, gritty and often fairly violent in one of the earliest issues Leonardo decapitated The Shredder. And it also dealt with a lot of philosophical issues and references that are decidedly mature.
When the classic cartoon came out some of them thought it sort of spit on the legacy of the turtles by dumbing it down and making it too kiddy. To be fair some of their concerns were a bit understandable even as someone who grew up with the classic cartoon and still enjoys it to this day but it did blind them to the actual positive qualities of it causing some of them to not even give it a chance. It was different from the original comics in many ways but one thing it did have was the comics multiple parodies of different comic book, movie and pop culture parodies and kept the vigilante character Casey Jones faithful to his original comics version even if they had to tone down his more violent tendencies.
Fast forward to the last couple of season and the classic cartoon took a darker turn that many fans dub as the "red sky arc" that many fans of the rest of the series hated and didn't give the time of day and while I agree that the change was jarring and could have used some plot development to ease us into it it did have its positive qualities. It had some great storylines and presented some of the same mature philosophical themes that the original comics touched upon and for the most part did them well. It had a feel to it that reminded me of Xmen with the turtles saving people and doing good deeds but people being afraid of them and hating them for being different which also presented some good opportunities to teach that it is okay to be different. Though I will admit I missed the corny humor of the other seasons.
In 2003 this happened again with the "TMNT" cartoon which combined the darker themes of the original comics and the lighter side of the classic cartoon quite well. Some fans of the classic cartoon didn't give it the time of day but a lot of comics fans loved it because it was closer to the original comics. When I found out about this reboot I had the biggest fangasm ever and ended up liking it just as much as the classic cartoon and it introduced my favorite villain of the entire franchise Tengu/Demon Shredder who was the real and original Shredder who tormented imperial Japan centuries ago and of course came back.
In 2012 another reboot came along and I like what I see so far but do like the classic and 2003 cartoons better for reasons I won't get into. I will say that I love their version of the Rat King and Krang. I have noticed this same trend though with some fans not willing to give it the time of day one of them being the same friend who told me about the 2003 reboot who is interesingly enough the same guy who introduced me to ponies.
I know my wall o text isn't about Sailor Moon but I thought I would bring this up because it is relevent and shows that these sorts of reactions are not unique to one fandom.

I just saw these interesting Youtube videos from this guy posing an alternate take on the Jedi and Sith philosophies saying that the Jedi aren't as perfect as the movies often portray and that there are parts of the Sith Code that actually make a lot of sense even if they are violated by a lot of Sith.

I tried coming up with all sorts of clever names for this but none of them have done my situation the slightest bit of justice. To make a long story short I have been out or work due to a work related knee injury since late March and even though all my other knee injuries have all been work related this current one isn't counted as a workers comp issue because the aggravation technically happened off the job site even though I had problems even before that incident. I had to apply for state disability whichmuch of a pain in the ass as going through the workers comp process is a vacation compared to that. Fast forward a few months down the line and I get 2 letters from my union one of them telling me that I have lost my insurance because I didn't follow this process that
NOBODY FUCKING TOLD ME ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently this process involves a certain way I have to notify my union whenever I go out of leave which is so insanely complicated that it would take writing a goddamn novel to explain it. This letter told me that I need to get all my state disability statements together, my letter from the company I work for acnkowledging that I am out of work along with a few other papers. I accidentally threw out some of those statements so I printed out this bank statement proving that I am getting said payments but apprently that wasn't good enough for them. So I call state disabilty and they tell me I can print this stuff out so I try to get into my account and I can't remember my password or the answer to the security quesiton so I get locked out becuase I tried to log in too many times. So I have to wait for a little longer to check back and hope to God, Zeus, Baal and maybe even Satan for good measure that I can figure out how to get into my account or otherwise I have to go over to the state disability office to get them to print the stuff out for me.
Which bring me to the other letter which told me to apply for COBRA which only costs me an arm a leg and sacrificing my future first born child to the devil, no big deal really it is just another day at the office for these bottom feeding filth. Parasites need to eat too after all. The good news is that since the doctor will most likely release me back to work on Monday I probably won't need to apply for COBRA, the bad news is that even after this stuff is all sorted out that because the insurance company is two months behind if something else happens to me within the next two months after I return to work than there is a good chance that I am going to get screwed harder than a prison snitch in a shower stall.

In my last blog post http://mlpforums.com/blog/456/entry-11293-kids-shows-vs-mature-shows-and-the-double-standards-in-quality/ I talked about the double standards in regard to expectations in quality of "mature shows" and "kids shows" but one argument I would like to get into is one of the most common talking points used in the "its just for kids" argument and it is that the plot must be simple in order for children to understand and appreciate it. I have heard this particular point repeated many times when I and others have brought the multiple inconsistencies and out of character moments in MLP, particularly in season 4 with responses like "they can only fit so much in a 20 minute episode" and that is indeed true but there are several several childrens shows where this has never been a serious problem.
Batman The Animated Series is one of the best examples of this, many of the episodes played out like short movies with complex plots dealing with profound issues such as grief, betrayal, crime, vengeance, fear, hope, psychological illness, love, live and death and many other matters many of which fairly dark and mature were presented in ways that were appropriate for young children without patronizing them or making the characterization bland or dumbed down. I am well aware that some of those subjects are not palatable for MLP because they are still viewed as inappropriate for a "girls show" which I honestly find sexist and insulting we have clearly seen that MLP can still tackle many fairly complex subjects without resorting to any of this in the past so why were they able to do this in past season but have for the most part fallen off the wagon in season 4?
I think much of it is due to twilicorn, the concept was pushed onto the writers by Hasbro with not enough time to properly flesh it out which has resulted in a season finale that I have said many times and will say again is the worst episode of the entire series. This combined with Hasbro likely pressuring the writers to get season 4 finished as soon as possible I believe is the main factor in why season 4 has the most glaring inconsistencies and out of character moments of any season aired so far.
But what about more simple plots? There are many examples that prove that those too can be done in a very profound matter without leaving quality on the cutting room floor. The original Star Wars trilogy is perhaps the best example of this I can think of. George Lucas has admitted that he has borrowed the ideas for the plot from many sources from samurai movies, ancient legends, myths and stories and even spaghetti westerns and if you think about the themes you can see them. An evil intergalactic empire, the fate of the galaxy at stake, an ancient order of warriors thought to have been extinct in hiding, a magic "force" that permeates all life and you have a fairly basic plot. Yet despite the simplicity the original Star Wars trilogy are remembered as great classics because George Lucas and the staff who worked on those movies set out to make them as good as they possibly could and succeeded.
And this is the very same reason why MLP has done well because Lauren Faust and the show staff have set out to make a good show and for the most part they have, but that does not mean they are infallible and as we have seen from twilicorn Hasbro can and will meddle if it feels that it is their best interest and there is no guarantee that Hasbro will not pull something like another twilicorn again and of course some of the writers actually have made mistakes that are indeed their own failures. Pinkie Pie's rank flanderization has been a serious problem throughout most of season 3 and Rarity being ignored was also a problem of that season. Pinkie Pie's characterization for the first half of season 4 seemed to improve with 2 excellent episodes but has backslided since then and is yet to recover, but to their credit the writers are making up for Rarity being ignored in season 3. Spike has also suffered from a flanderization by being turned into a 2 dimensional whipping boy who seems to be the butt of nearly every single joke which also started in season 3. Fluttershy's problems with consistency have been an issue since the beginning of the series with her learning lessons and then forgetting them which limits her full potential as a character and results in a lot of needless repetition of certain lessons.

I have noticed for a long time that the quality of entertainment has really gone downhill and with that standards in general seem to be going right down the crapper, especially with shows geared toward children. But despite the fact that the general public has even lower expectations because of the notion that is "just a kids show" "mature" shows have gone downhill even further as fast than shows geared toward children yet nobody makes the argument that this is okay because "it is just an adults show." Thought provoking topics as baby dadies, cheating lovers, inbreeding, racist morons and much more have been common fare for daytime talk since the early 90's and possibly even longer but their ugly cousin the "reality show" started airing its ugly head sometime around the 2000's with bland, boring cliched obviously staged clones being churned out every two seconds and helping feed a celebrity infotainment culture that has been with us a long time but is continuing to grow worse as the public continues to get more and more dumbed down.
Even the History Channel, the Discovery Channel and most other channels that once played host to thought provoking, shows, specials and documentaries have been affect by this "reality show" craze with fewer and fewer quality shows being aired. The video game industry has also been affected by this though thankfully not as much. I have never minded violence or sexual content but it seems like many games are simply putting it in just for the sake of having it while not paying much attention to things like gameplay, story and characterization for example. Where this is of course at its worst is in first person shooter games, in the 90's and early 2000's there were plenty of good games in this genre but now they are few and far between because developers are simply repackaging the same game over and over again with a slightly different title with the Call of Duty series.
"Teen" shows have never been known for their quality but have also taken a hit. They have never been known for their quality but the teen shows in the 80's and 90's were at least tolerable but you turn on Nickelodeon or Disney Channel (Disney Channel especially) and no matter what "teen" show you turn on it is always a dumbed down bore fest of bland phony baloney Mary Sue and Gary Stu characters that are the epitome of wish fulfillment gone horribly wrong and are insulting even to two year olds.
Yet despite all this nobody argues that "it is just for adults" "it is just for teens" but even a lot of bronies will argue "it is just for kids" when anyone brings up even the most glaring and obvious flaws in a cartoon geared toward children which honestly baffles me. Part of the argument is that kids shows need to be simple to not confuse them but what these people fail to understand is that there is a major difference between simple and dumbed down. Of course I will get more into those differences in my next blog post so, stay tuned.

So the other night a couple of people took things a bit far in the March Madness favorite pony tournament by disparaging the ponies they didn't vote for with statements like "*insert ponies name here* sucks" and apparently some people thought Nazi comparisons were a good idea for Celestia knows what reason and people taking this whole thing in general more seriously than they should. A little fanboying is fun and is pretty much expected, but this isn't a matter of life and death and nobody should treat it as such. The fact is I like all the ponies that are left in the running even if I do like Applejack more than the others. I have supported AJ and will continue to support her but the fact is even if AJ loses I still know that Applejack is awesome.
While I am glad things have calmed down since then the "solution" to me is a load of bull. I know Docxfizzle's heart is in the right place but making it to where the previous round never happened and making the final round a 4 way where votes for one pony only count half (if I am understanding correctly) and voting for all of them counts as a tad more is a huge overreaction that will do nothing to discourage flamers or trolls and is actually unfair to all the people who voted in that round by punishing everyone because of the actions of a few.

I have always loved Applejack and it is something I have said many times but with today being the 2nd anniversary of my fathers death I am reminded of one of the reasons that I believe really sealed the deal for me and made me have a strong bond with Applejack in particular and there is a hint in the picture below.
The death of Applejacks parents, orphans have been a long time trope in literature, TV, comics, cartoons, video games and just every media that has ever existed and ever will exist but something about Applejack's case in particular is special to me. It is never explicitly stated in the show itself because it was judged to be too tragic for the show's "target audience" but is confirmed by the writers and was hinted at in Apple Family Reunion which is my favorite episode of the series.
But again what about Applejack's story pulls at my heartstrings? It is because these experiences remind me a great deal of my own. Applejack faced hardship early on by having to take responsibility for the family farm and to help raise her younger sister Applebloom and while my experience wasn't exactly like that there is a lot of similarity. I was diagnosed at age 2 with Autism after exhibiting severe behavioral problems and losing what little language I had, I had to work a lot harder just to learn things that most people take for granted like basic socialization, what is appropriate and innapropriate, how to handle stress and even learning how to talk. Fast forward to age 12 and though I still had many issues I was on the school honor role and though I did go through bullying did have some friends but it was at this time that my grandmother passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64 which is only 4 years older than my mother is now. Fast forward to my early 20's and my grandfather is in a coma due to complications of trying to remove a brain tumor and as per his will the feeding tube was pulled which I had serious moral concerns with and still do to this day.
And then there is of course my father he was sick for most of his adult life he nearly died from Polio during his childhood, and nearly died from Lupus sometime in his 20's or 30's and one of his kidneys failed in 1995. My Mom stepped in at the time and gave him one of her kidneys which lasted 8 years. After that kidney failed he despite some difficulties was able to take care of himself albeit with some assistance but after a nasty infection and drug interaction in 2008 his condition slowly deteriorated to the point where my Mom and I had to help take care of him. He wasn't strong enough to go through another transplant so that was out and after years of suffering his body finally gave out on March 13th, 2012. My Dad has been there for me since I could remember, no matter how sick he was and how much he suffered he always thought of me, my brother and my mom and I am glad that I could be there for him in the last few years of his life.
While Applejack's younger sister Applebloom unlike my father was is actually healthy the fact that she along with her older brother Big Macintosh and Granny Smith had to all help take care of her still reminds me of my mom and I banding together to take care of my dad and to me is a sad but also very inspiring story. The fact that Applejack was able to go through something like that which would destroy so many and come out of it stronger to me shows a lesson that is important for everyone and it is that even when times are tough that hope can still burn bright.

Sometimes around season 3 Twilight Sparkle tied with Applejack for my favorite pony although you wouldn't have known that with how much more I tended to fanboy over Applejack than her unless you were here during the height of the twilicorn controversy where I made my case that I didn't like the change but liked Twilight. And sometimes before season 3 Luna became tied so it was a threeway (giggity giggity) which is a tad more obvious since I am the one who started the Luna fanclub thread on here that is the most active one on here with the exception of the Rarity fanclub thread thanks in large part to Ghosty. I still love them as much as I did before but with them continuing her amazing character development from season 3 it seems like Applejack is getting more and more awesome which as a long time AJ fan really brings a smile to my face. Applejack is still a long ways from realizing as much of her potential as a character as the other mane 6 with the exception of Rarity who is facing the same problem but they are going in the right direction with Applejack.
With Bats although Applejack is often criticized for being cruel, we saw a great dynamic between her concerns about her farm and Fluttershy's concerns about finding a humane solution to what she recorgnizes is a problem. With Pinkie Apple Pie we saw Applejack clearly excited at the prospect of Pinkie Pie being her possible cousin, and a fun entertaining family road trip where Applejack tried to show Pinkie Pie the best of her family. Not everything went according to plan and they never found out for sure if Pinkie Pie is her cousin but Applejack clearly knew what was important with a little reminder from Pinkie Pie.Add this to the amazing episode Apple Family Reunion from season 3 where we see her try so hard to make everything perfect to honor the memory of her parents and her supporting roles from season 3 and season 4 so far and you can start to see why I love AJ.
I took a look at the MLP wiki and another AJ episode is coming up in 2 weeks, this one being about a conflict between Applejack and Applebloom. We know that they have a good relationship, but even the best relationship can have the occasional disagreement I am looking forward to seeing what direction they are going to go with this.
http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Somepony_to_Watch_Over_Me
So my top list is now as follows
1. Applejack
2. Twilight Sparkle/Luna/Rainbow Dash
3. Pinkie Pie
4. Rarity
5.Fluttershy

A quick youtube video on something that has been bugging me for a long time and it is how people are pressured into being "normal", think of this video as my personal screw you to that notion.

It has been a while so time for another work related rant again about my favorite person my manager, Mr Slash and Burn. I have made several rants about how he cuts hours so far back that it is becoming almost impossible to get anything done at all but he really went full retard this time. I go into work yesterday, my first day being the opening dairy clerk since coming back from my injury and I get the rather lovely surprise of finding out that there was no opening checker that day. The lady that is usually the opening checker on Wednsedays comes in at 2am to change out signs that day making her backup on those days with another girl filling that role. Since my load usually takes forever to get there on Wednesdays and they know it I had to be in the checkstand for the better part of an hour or hour and a half which is exactly how I got the injury I mentioned earlier by the way, to be fair to Mr Slash and Burn I don't think anyone predicted the Sunday after Thanksgiving would be that busy but aside from the excruciating pain it did give me an unexpected nearly 2 month break from that dump so it wasn't all bad. But of course that didn't mean I am eager to get a relapse.
It was fairly slow because it was still early so I paced around back and forth most of my time up in the old torture chamber and did some stretches to keep the blood flowing which thankfully worked but is something I wouldn't have had the luxury of it was busy. Of course my reprieve was a bit meaningless since even after I got out of there I was back up there nearly every 2 seconds for the first half of my shift. You would think they would be a bit more careful with me because it is actually more expensive to pay an employee workers comp than it is to pay them to actually work but if they want to give me another 6 weeks off of work they could just give it to me and spare me another injury. As much as I enjoyed being anywhere but there going to the doctor once a week and physical therapy 3 times a week wasn't just a tad inconvenient.
The load came late that day as it nearly always does on Wednesdays so I can't blame Mr Slash and Burn for that, of course one thing I will give him some credit for is giving me some backup which I don't usually get when I cover the opening dairy shift but I would still like to hear why he thought it was a good idea to not schedule any opening checker at all. Since he is a tone deaf moron when I see the doctor on Friday I will see if I can get a note so I can get a stool for if I am going to be in the checkstands for a prolonged period of time.

An article using ponies to describe some of the shenanigans of Google and Facebook and on another note I want to know where he got those figurines. I want the AJ and Pinkie Pie one.
