  1. What did I do during the time a new episode normally comes on? I spent the entire 10:00 to 11:00 am Eastern MLP time slot yesterday having fun here.  :)

Come on people, it's not that hard. Look at it this way: Season 3 has only 13 episodes. Would you rather have them shown in succession with a painfully long gap until the start of season 4, or spread season 3 out a little bit?

  2. I have a confession to make...I like Ask Princess Molestia.  This particular Molestia teases her subjects endlessly but she's fair about it. She doesn't do anything to anypony she wouldn't want done to her and she never molests fillies or colts. Of course, there are other depictions of Molestia out there which are much more grimdark and explicit. Those I do not care for.

And of course I'm against rape, incest, and cannibalism (Cupcakes).  That's like being against dirty air and ATM fees.  Society isn't perfect but there are still a number of commonly held mores and some things go without saying.

  3. I honestly didn't like A Friend In Deed at first.  I found it so cringe inducing that I had to stop watching and finish it at a later time.

But after forcing myself to see the whole thing, it was actually a decent episode.  :D

With that said, I still have to vote for Return to Harmony Part 2.  It's almost unfair that ordinary slice of life episodes have to be pitted against major story arc ones.

  4. I haven't watched the whole thing yet. But I was disappointed to see almost no offense from Zecora. It was like the first match was in two player mode or something.

The thing I got the biggest laugh out of was at the 8:00 mark when AC aka Outlaw goes Stone Cold Steve Austin on her opponent, right down to the head shaking trash talking after the stunner!

  5. Wow, two pony dreams in one week, I'm on a roll!  :D  I was watching a two part episode that was was going from part one to part two. The Mane 6 were each carrying an item that had a clue as to what path they should take, and the correct answer was “Alpha”. That's all I can remember.

  6. I clicked on here thinking the question would be:  "Would your love of fictional ponies dissuade you from eating the meat of a real life pony?"  The answer to that question, I might hesitate, but I'd probably try it because I like meat (sorry if this offends some people here).

I like Bambi, but that didn't stop me from eating venison.

But I would never eat a pony from the show.  That's like cannibalism.  :P

  7. I just catch myself saying "Eeyup" a lot when I simply said yup in the past.

I don't say them out loud, but I do recite several MLP quotes in my head.  The one I've been playing over and over again mentally is Scootaloo:  "These namby pamby stories aren't getting us any closer to our cutie marks!  They're all about finding out who you really are and boring stuff like that.  We need action!  We need Rainbow Dash!"

  8. I was going to say Maricopa, but it's kind of already a ponified name in itself. I guess you could say Mareicopa, but that looks awkward :x

If the saddle fits, wear it.  :)

I'm kinda surprised the map of Equestria has Vanhoover but not Seaddle.  How could they not see that from a mile away?

  9. What is the average number of episodes to get someone hooked on MLP anyway?  For me it was about 4 or 5.  Anyway, I have a roommate who sometimes joins me to watch new episodes on Saturday mornings.  I'm glad that she's cool with me being a brony.  But she says she'll never be a fan of the show herself.  She may be too preoccupied with Transformers to develop strong feelings for another cartoon.

But she has watched about 4 episodes with me now.  There's always a chance the next one she sees could push her over the edge right?  :D

I'm sorry I don't have anything specifically to help you here, Zach, except to say that gently exposing them to MLP may be the way to go.

  10. what did I just watch? O_o

A cereal commercial from the late 1980s starring late wrestler and actor Andre the Giant.  Notice that he's wearing his Fezzik costume from The Princess Bride.
