My Movie: Nothing is Everything: The story of a complete loser/loner (possibly has Aspergers) who doesn't even fit into the fringe groups of society and his/her story of going through life. Would be really philosophical and deep and possibly end with some kind of cliff hanger/ambiguous ending. I can feel the 12 Academy Awards already. I like how this pic applies to my real movie as well. tumblr_meenq8XeX41qimxjvo1_400.gif
I'm so confused right now.
After this of course the war becomes long and bloody till many of celestias supporters turn including the second princess and celestia becomes evil through war andhas to be stopped after that war a 150 years have passed humans and pony kind morphed into anthro creatures and celastias ancient evil is arise again so reincarnations of the main six have to save the world.I picture this as a retro-futuristic an 80s VHS vision. Not sure the world is quite ready for something of this magnitude.

For My Little Pony, Twilight is manipulated into releasing an ancient evil. The former ruler of a distant star system, Alpha Centari. That's his name, and also the star system. He has similar mannerisms to the Didact.
Either that, or do something cool with the ascension of the royal sisters. I'd also like to see the Smooze, but I doubt they'll bring that back. :/
For my own movie, it's called Adelbrect. The film is an action/comedy involving inter-dimensional espionage that pokes fun at global politics.
I was going to call it "Red Lawn".Good god Lemon...

Oh look everyone, it's another person prematurely calling the death of MLP.
I'm really glad you guys aren't doctors. We're not even in a hospital.

LOL Hasbro Studios LLC already took it off the air for copyright infringement. You must have been a greater threat to the success of the toy line than you anticipated.

I hate Suck My Kiss by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I suppose I don't despise it as much as I used to, but I still don't care for it.
Come to think of it, it's actually pretty catchy. Never mind, I like it now.

The only one I've ever said is "eeeee-yup". Saying "everypony" seems like something that everybody's doing only because everybody else is doing it.
Yes, I do in fact use "MLP Vocab" on a daily basis. My favorite thing to say is "By Celestia's Beard" which gets me no weird looks because everyone who knows me intimately knows that my sanity is long gone and any attempts to decipher the meaning behind the things I say will rip open a hole in the universe and destroy us all.- 2

I'm kind of an unabashed Sparity supporter, so I'm admittedly a bit biased in this discussion. They can only keep up the whole one sided crush thing for so long, especially in a show all about character development and growth.
I'm referencing the short at the end of that Rarity mini-series. Spike tells that one hick pony that Rarity already has a

Rarity already has a boyfriend. Fiance, actually. It's very serious.
Why don't we move along and forget any of this ever happened.

Didn't you guys hear me? Futurama hasn't been cancelled, it's on Hiatus until July. We didn't get another season for 11 months last time, it'll come back, don't worry.
No, it's been cancelled. Comedy Central didn't pick up any more episodes. The final half of season 7 starts in July and ends on September 3. This is the beginning of the end.

Mars isn't the kind of place to raise your kids. In fact, it's cold as hell. Not to mention there's no one there to raise them.
If you dig.

Overall Story: The Shawshank Redemption, Empire of the Sun
The Shawshank Redemption is a movie that I never get tired of. Adapted from a short story by Stephen King, Shawshank follows the life of a man serving a life sentence in prison for murder. I don't want to spoil it, but it features one of the most satisfying scenes in movie history.
Spielberg's Empire of the Sun had me bawling my eyes out at the end, and it feature a very young Christian Bale in the lead. The movie follows the story of a young British Boy struggling to survive under Japanese occupation in WWII. This is Spielberg at his finest.
Action: The Avengers
One of the few hyped up movies to ever surpass my already sky high expectations. It is an absolute blast to watch.
Sci-Fi: Sunshine, The Matrix
Sunshine is as much a bleak Jules Verne adventure as it is commentary on the human condition. Featuring absolutely gorgeous cinematography, Sunshine is a breathtaking, poignant film.
The Matrix blew my mind. Includes the most satisfying fight scenes and conclusion I've ever experienced.
Horror: Alien, Aliens, Se7en, 28 Days Later
Where Alien is a bleak, poetic horror opera, Aliens is an incredible horror action movie.
Se7en had my heart racing the entire time and left me totally speechless at the end. Very memorable.
28 Days Later is a cautionary tale on the consequences of humanism. Features Cillan Murphy, Christopher Eccleston and
zombies.
Comedy: 50/50, Fargo, Bridesmaids
I laughed, I cried. It was about 50/50 split.
Animated: Ratatouille

The most average movie I have ever seen is "Buried". It is essentially 95 minutes of nothing of importance happening. Also wins the award for cheapest movie set, considering the entire film takes place inside a wooden box...
I heard that Ryan Reynolds was pretty good in that. I was hoping they'd pull off what 127 Hours was able to, shooting in such a confined space.

The Avengers
Oh no you di-hunt! The Avengers was entertaining as hell. The feat it pulled off with that ensemble cast is nothing short of amazing.
Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad!

Now, I can't think of a film I've ever legitimately hated, but the first Twilight movie (which was the only one I sat through before I said "Buck it, the haters were totally right on this one.") was probably one of the most mindlessly contrived, pretentious pieces of crap I've seen in a while...but almost in an enjoyable way, like the director was milking Meyer's bad writing for all it was worth.
I actually enjoyed the Twilight movies. New Moon was pretty bad, but Eclipse was surprisingly self-aware and doesn't take itself too seriously. Basically just popcorn movies.
I still haven't seen the second half of Breaking Dawn to find out if Bella starts being an actual character instead of a caricature for pre-pubescant teenage girls to project themselves onto, but I hope that's what happens.

What movies do you have no strong feelings one way or the other about?
Mine is The Dark Knight Rises. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

Prometheus was a huge disappointment for me. Even if I just accept that this isn't really an Alien movie like the movie's defenders ask me to (despite the advertising and the movie itself taking great pains to convince me that this is an Alien movie), it still sucks if taken as a stand alone movie. The characters (one of the first two Alien movies' strong points) are forgettable and dumb, the ending makes no sense and is a complete rip off, there isn't a consistent level of threat throughout the movie, which is a bad thing for a horro movie, and the whole plot only works because everyone keeps making stupid, illogical decisions. Pretty, yes, but "god tier", sorry but no.
I defend Prometheus because of the themes they were trying to convey as well as the gorgeous visuals and performances (specifically Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender). Its success is also the only chance we have of getting the movie we all really want from Ridley Scott.
However, they better not let Damon Lindhoff (LOST) anywhere near the sequel. His rewrite of the script damn near killed the movie. If you read Jon Spaihts' original draft it makes so much more sense and seems way more like an Alien movie.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
Now that sounds like a winner.
GOD TIER:
If you want pure, bleak Sci-Fi horror, try to find a copy of Ridley Scott's Alien. For movies that are more Action-Horror try the sequel Aliens or the prequel Prometheus.
"MEH" TIER
Alien 3 is decent only if you see the extended cut. It makes so much more sense. Alien: Resurrection is entertaining, mostly because Joss Whedon helped write the script.
"..." TIER
Stay away from AVP 1-2. Those are bad juju. I actually enjoyed the first AVP as a monster movie

Was it really that bad? Gosh, and I wanted to see that movie, too! Haha...i'm really not a big fan of movies involving space fiction. xD
I tend to laugh during most horror movies. Most we saw Dark Skies, and a friend of mine was shaking like a leaf the entire time. It was pretty funny because he normally acts all tough.
What other space fiction movies have you seen? There are some pretty fantastic ones out there; don't let my opinion of that one ruin them for you.

This sounds like a fun topic!
The WORST movie I've ever seen I actually wrote a review on. It was called Apollo 18, and it was so bad it was terrible.EDIT: I just remembered, the worst movie I've ever had the displeasure of seeing was Resident Evil: Retribution. The first and the third one were fun at least; Retribution was just a god-awful mess.

Iron Man 3 is nearly upon us and we've already got the first trailer for the second Thor outing. Phase II is shaping up nicely so far. (judging from the trailers, that is)

I once kept on jumping out from behind things on my stepsister's birthday and scared her so much, she hid under the stairs in my house.
My dad and little sister are really good at that, though with my track record I suppose I have it coming. Scares make life so much more interesting.

So last year I ran my very own website. It was fun, and I'm thinking about restarting it. I've got a wordpress account sitting there for that very purpose.
These aren't in any particular order, though you can tell I started improving with the art as time went on.
