Cyber is of medium height, with a dark green coat, greenish-blue eyes and a brown mane and tail, both of which are slightly untidy, but not so much so that it could be described as "messy".

Despite being a male, Cyber's appearance is oddly feminine. Though one would recognise him as a male if you looked close enough, he often is mistaken for being a female.

Cyber is quite intelligent, especially in Equine Biology, which he teaches at a college near to Ponyville. He is generally a kind pony, but he also has an irritable streak, which he has developed after living with his freeloading and lazy "roommate", Cornflake. He is also rather easily agitated and can get very angry if provoked. He is known to have physically dragged a student out of one of his lectures for being too disruptive.

Likes: Cyber's roommate Cornflake regularly watches "questionable material", a fact which annoys Cyber greatly. He also resolutely refuses to drink anything alcoholic.

Cyber was born and raised in Great Coltain, to one Sonic Pulse and his wife, Aqua. He was given his name by his father, who was a fanatic for modern technology, as the Pulse family had been for many generations. It came as somewhat if a shock to Cyber's father when his son's special talent turned out to be Equine Biology as opposed to some form of technology.

 

Cyber was always seen as the "geeky kid" during his time at school. His almost unnatural love for Biology made him somewhat of an outcast, but he eventually found a friend in Cornflake, a laid-back, free-spirited pony with whom he is still friends with to this day. Cyber doesn't recall exactly how he and Cornflake met, but he does remember that it involved passion fruit, a dictionary, sherbet lemons and a tasmanian devil, and afterwards he had a splitting headache.

 

During his time in Coltain, Cyber became unimpressed with the land's political climate, economic situation and society. As a result, when he finished his higher education he left the country and moved to Ponyville, taking Cornflake with him. He now works as an Equine Biology teacher at a higher-level education centre not too far from Ponyville, and is generally happy with his life. He sometimes returns to Coltain to visit his parents.
