He is very excited for his chance to be a Royal Guard and prove himself. He is very brave and can sometimes jump into a situation without thinking. He is very prideful when it comes to his family history.
He is very open to making new friends, however it take a while for him to get to know somepony. He is outgoing for his friends and will do almost anything for them.
Around mares, he can sometimes make a fool of himself as he has trouble putting his feelings into words and often puts his hoof in his mouth.
He can sometimes be absent minded when he gets excited, running on adrenalin.
He is very polite, Using Sir and Mam allot.
Likes: Disrespect toward himself, his family or Equestria.Solar Sentinel was born in Canterlot. His father was a Royal Guard and he was raised for the most part by his mother. The guard kept his father away while he was on duty, something Solar resented the guard for most of his early youth. It wasn't until he was older that his father took him aside to talk to him about the duty that the guard has to Equestria and expressed his wanting of his son to carry on the family legacy in the guard. He was a little resentful of his father for this during his youth.
It wasn't until his mother took him aside during the summer sun festival that Solar fully understood what the guard stood for. He was able to see his father work, and it was the proudest day of his life up till that point. From that day forward, he knew what his purpose in life was. To make his parents happy and fulfill their wishes and join the guard. When his father was on duty, he spent a lot of time with his mother. He would often dress up like a guard and call his mother his princess, defending her from anything that he thought might hurt her in their house. He earned his cutie mark by saving his mother from a falling object by pushing her out of the way.
As a colt, he accepted that his father would be away. In school when the other foals would talk about there father's jobs, he would just say that his fathers was the best. Watching over Canterlot Castle.
As Solar grew older, his father spent more time with his son. One night, his father presented him with a letter with the royal seal. Inside was an acceptance letter to the Military Academy of Equestria. He hugged his father, knowing that he had pulled some strings to make it happen. He worked his flank off in the academy, hoping to be chosen as worthy for the Guard, and to serve with his father.
Little did Solar know that his father was about to retire, and his dream of serving together would not become a reality. Finally, the time came. Unpon graduation from the academy, His name was called to be rookie Royal Guard. Little did he know, that the opening that he was filling was his fathers.
It is with his Mother and Father's blessings, that he begins in new life, serving Equestria in the Royal Guard. Carrying on his father's legacy
As of the current time, He is in his first day as guard, going through orientation with his trainers. He has yet to meet anyone of importance.
His rank in the guard is that of a PFC (Private First Class), which in RPing hopefully will go up.
His lifetime aspiration is to be one of the Princess's personal guards.
