Sunny Caramel

Aerodynas
  • , No, Not Cast young mare

    Eye Color: sky blue

    Coat Color: warm cinnamon brown

    Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style:

Her mane style is elegant yet fiery with a little bulk to it and colored with both a golden squash yellow and a creamy eggnog yellow. Her tail could be most comparable to Derpy's in style with the same color scheme as Sunny's mane.

Physique: Sunny is an earth pony with a physique most classified like Applejack's because of their slightly similar upbringing. This mare is much stronger than she looks.

female Earth Pony Sunny's cutie mark is a hot pink rose, representing her outstanding love and talent for song and dance. https://buffy.mlpforums.com/01ac2b3206f4680a5d79634cdc036e70.png

Sunny is very kind and dedicated in all that she does, always putting forward the extra effort to get things done. She does have a slight competitive side in certain aspects but always in good sport (it isn't her want to appear 'better' than other ponies). Sunny is somewhat outgoing and her passion for dancing and singing rivals many famous ponies even from Los Pegasus. Often times, she strikes up a song at random, not entirely like the spasmodic Pinkie Pie but with almost the same intentions: to help others smile or touch their hearts. She is very loyal and defensive of her friends and family, doing whatever she can to be there when they need her. The young mare tends to get homesick fairly easy but does her best to keep an optimistic attitude about things; though, sometimes she can't. To her, her songs and dancing tells a story and expresses who she is at the highest level.

Likes: Selfish or snobbish attitudes, big business (see story), big cities, fancy food, being alone

Born and raised in Appleloosa, Sunny Caramel grew up in a poor family. The Caramel family consisted of Constella and Sunray Caramel, Sunny's older brother Aero, her twin sister Flare, and Sunny. "There's a gallopin many mouths to be feedin," Constella Caramel would often say. They were in debt to the bank after the past two years' orchards had been destroyed from drought, and the railroad was very intent on buying the land from them. "I ain't sellin'!" Sunny would hear Sunray Caramel shout to her mother. "They'll have to herd me outta mah land afore that'll happen!" As a filly, Sunny knew Pa and Ma were sad. She worked hard with her brother and sister to help them...but it looked like the Caramel farm would be done for.

The Caramel family's cider-sugar was legendary throughout Equestria. Everypony in Appleloosa used it in all their sweets and pies for it was "the best darn sugar this side of Equestria" the mayor once said. On the night of the Appleloosa Apple Festival, the Caramel family set up their regular stand, selling their prized cider-sugar to all the folks in town who wanted it. There was the usual saddlegrass band twanging away while the ponies tapped their hooves and mare danced. Sunny loved the Apple Festival more than any other day of the year. She often would dance her little heart away and sing many of the songs in the barn late at night, pretending she was there.

On this Festival day though...the saddlegrass band was missing their singer and hoof-step leader due to too much cider the night before. They festival wouldn't be the same without music and dance...

Despite the protests of her Ma, Sunny hurriedly trotted up on stage. She said she knew every song and could hoof-step just as well as any pony in Appleloosa. The band admired the filly's spunk and had always loved to see Sunny after every Festival. The banjo player nodded and Sunny was given the stage...Everypony's jaw dropped as the young beautiful voice singed out alone (the band were so surprised they forgot to play). There was a brief awkward silence. Then the ponies cheered and threw their hats in the air. Sunny couldn't believe it. Quickly she jumped down onto the dance floor and danced the hoof-step, the others following the little filly. She was amazing. It was on that night she found her cutie mark.

This wasn't the end for her however, in admiration of her talent, a stallion from Canterlot asked her to sing at the Gala in Canterlot. From that day on, Sunny's family never worried about money again with her sending bits every week. The farm was saved. Her family was proud...and Sunny, well, she just kept on singing and dancing.

    OOOC:

I remember trying to think of a good OC that wasn't so...outlandish when I came up with Sunny. I looked for inspiration and ended up finding it in a good friend of mine. Back when I lived on a farm I raised a small blond pup whose fur was about as fluffy as Sunny's mane. She was my best friend all throughout her days and I miss her dearly. We went everywhere together: if I was outside, she'd be right there beside me..She was always real outgoing and very very fast (probably about 30 mph at top speed) but was sweet on top of her sheer coolness img-1984148-3-img-1379355-5-xtWXQl1.png

Sunny was made in remembrance of her...who will never be forgotten.
