Appearance: Funny hairstyle for a stallion, bacon striped hair. Not bulky, regular sized. Red eyes. Rusty Yellow body.

Cutie Mark: A map, which shows that Rave is good at memorizing places and often already knows things about some specific locations.

Personality: Likes learning history and looking at maps. He will gladly aid other ponies in trouble. Has a little temper but can be very tolerant. Feels bad when he let's other ponies down. He is very loyal, especially to his friends. Gets upset when can't keep a promise. Has another personality that is quite sinister and dark and troubles Rave often.

Backstory: Rave was born in Manehattan and was given the name Rave. Darkmane is the family name and most within the family had dark manes or at least grey manes. However Rave was born with a bacon striped one. <br /><br />He was admitted into the Canterlot School for Gifted Unicorns at a very young age. During his time there he mostly studied geography, offensive magic and history. Got once in trouble when he was discovered having dabbled in dark magic after nearly killing a fellow Unicorn in a magic duel and nearly got expelled, but received a second chance from Celestia (or so he often claims).<br /><br />After finishing the school (as he often pretends, however, he was actually kicked out) he never went back to Manehattan since he never saw it as his home. He travels around trying to find a place where his skills as a historian is needed. Although deep down, he would want to see his family's power restored and Sombra returned to the throne.<br /><br />He has a brother and a half-sister. His brother is the elder and is into bloodmagic, he calls himself Scar, although his birth name is Toasty Darkmane. His mother died when she was testing out heavy dark magic, so his father married again to a Earth Pony and had a Earth Pony mare with Rave's stepmom. Her name was Lemon Mint.<br />
