This has got to be one of the best ideas for Minecraft I have ever heard of! I wanna be able to dig a stupid deep hole and place a sign at the top of it that says it goes to China.

 

Another thing I like to do is make withers in creative mode, and use a nametag on them so the name above their health bar gets changed to Fluffy. I've observed that, if withers are left without anything to fight for extended periods of time, the blue skulls they throw tend to dig a hole under the wither, causing it to slowly go towards bedrock.

 

Take a step back and give yourself a moment to fully appreciate the ridiculousness of Fluffy the wither digging a stupid deep hole to China.
