Character re-design, what do you think? cx

I love my little Trickster, but I keep looking at his design and it just doesn't seem like he was a creature that morphed into a pony.
So I did a bit of a re-design sketch to add in a few little things that made him look even more like he doesn't fit in lol
Sharp lil' teeth, his tail bone sticks out a little more and is not completely covered, and his front hooves are cloven.
He was a creature with hands before, so cloven hooves sort of looked like his fingers had fused together? I don't really know.

 

He of course kept his curved horn and all that.

 

 

 

 

 

Cleaned it up and colored him, his front hooves look so much bigger XD

Mm, I still feel like something is off.
Even after making his gaze feel more natural...blarg

Thinking about him more, I am pretty sure Trickster would hold his tail like a banner when he runs.
Since it is more like a zebra tail and not as heavy as a pony's tail. So have another morning doodle cx

Very nice! I feel like his wings are a little small, but that may just be a personal thing.
