Rescoring The Alicorn Magic Transfer Scene

So, I made this a while ago in an effort to help raise money for my friend to attend Everfree Northwest. I was told this forum might appreciate this, so I decided to post it here.

This is a rather unusual PMV in that I removed Daniel Ingram's score and actually replaced it with my own. This required quite a bit of clever volume and EQ work in order to isolate the sound effects without simply muting the whole thing. The whole thing took about a week and was probably one of the most difficult 60 seconds of music I've ever written, simply by virtue of having to get it to match up nicely with the video. I change BPM's 3 times, and it turns out that FL studio really doesn't like that.

The other scene I obviously wanted to rescore was the dragonball z tirek battle scene, but I'm not sure I'm capable of giving that scene the score it deserves. I've been thinking about giving the tirek scene a shot anyway and submitting it to the PMV contest, but I'm not actually sure if these rescore videos even qualify for the PMV contest.

Either way, I hope you like my blatant corruption of a little girl's TV show!

This is incredible!

You must have an incredible musical knowledge to make something this good.

You nailed that scene perfectly, especially with the part that turns to Twilight with her wavy mane.

Seriously, I love this. ^^

I really did enjoy this one, as this is the sort of music that I simply adore, and your remastered score captured both the mood and atmosphere of this particular scene splendidly.  If nothing else, I wish it would have gone on for a bit longer. And 'corruption of a little girl's TV show?'  Far from it, my friend, as you portrayed it very well, staying true to the show as well as giving it your own unique twist.

If you do decide to do the Twilight vs. Tirek battle scene, I would certainly love to hear what you have in mind for it.  Though you say that you feel you would not do that scene justice, you will not know until you try.  And besides that, taking such risks are half the fun of such artistic creations.  So, I say go for it!
