Fanfic Idea: If Twilight was sent to Tartarus?

In my fanfic (which I've finally began writing and determined to finish!) Which is based on Twilights Kingdom, only the mane six have to call on Megan. However when Twilight and Megan duel Tirek, Twilight sacrifices herself so that Megan can use her Rainbow Locket and Twilight, along with Tirek, get sent to Tartarus. How does that sound?

Only the hero from G1 who first defeated Tirek!

He could always work it as Twiliightos climbing out of the pit of Tartarus, filled with vengeance and hate, having been stuck in an eternal battle with Tirek.

Well, I'm actually planning on Megan becoming a princess herself and going to Tartarus to rescue Twilight!

Not so good. I would not mix different MLP show characters. As for her being sent to Tartarus, she would be freed afterwards by the princesses.

Well since he has a human in Equestria, she can always call on the old human gods for aid. She can pledge her soul to Ares for the strength to beat the equine gods.

First things first, who is megan?

 

Why, Megan McCarthy, of course! (Actually, even though I was trying to make a joke, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure she's part of the staff of MLP.)

Basically, I think it'd be pretty overwhelming, or at least rather too absurd. However, for a fan-fiction, I'd say, sure, go for it! Twilight'd most likely do anything for Equestria.
