Cannot enter chat?

Alright so I'm trying to enter the chat and I keep getting kicked. As far as I know, I'm not under a ban of any sort and I did clear my cache and cookies before trying again. No dice.

Beyond "F5ing repeatedly, getting annoyed, using the restroom, and F5ing a bit more," as wittily suggested by Zoop, I have nothing else up my sleeve as far as trying to fix this is concerned. As getting kicked more than the bad guys in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story kind of sucks, I would really appreciate a solution! Thanks!

P.S., tried attaching a screenshot to help matters. "Upload Skipped (Error500)" appeared.

EDIT: Just busted out my iPod to discern whether it was an issue with my profile or an issue on my end entirely. I was able to enter the chat using that mobile medium. I guess that means it's my problem?

MOAR EDIT: Just switched to both the IP.Board's default theme and its mobile theme. Both seem to work and my instantly getting kicked seems to be something exclusive of the MLP Forums' skin. Not too sure why that'd be the case, however, but I suppose my problem is solved.

Did you make sure to curse rapidly, loudly, and largely ineffectually at your PC while doing so as I suggested afterwards? It's a very important step.

Other than that, there's not really anything we can do when it comes to the chat - it's hosted entirely by IPS, without any configuration or setup on our side of things. Sadly there's not really a thing we can do on our end.

I have a Mac, Zoop. I was unable to go any further.

This wouldn't be the first time that Apple has impeded my attempts at solving virtual dilemmas.

All I can suggest is disabling your browser add-ons (ad blockers especially - those are known to hate IP.Chat), and perhaps trying a different browser.

Thats a strange solution, but i know asdf is experiencing the same problem. I told him to try clearing his cache and trying a different browser but to no avail. I asked the moderators that were there, arylet, and she said she never kicked him. So it could perhaps be some more problems with ip.board and/or the forums changes. Just give it time to those still experiencing this if you cannt solve it by changing the theme.
