Hazmat stayed silent after getting a good look around. Pwnies talking, sent to the past..? Vow... My parents aren't even born yet... He comments to himself. This seemed to be like crystal hell. Then the words of Sombra was heard. So that's why it looks like hell here! He looks at the crystals... and thinks of his chemical making. "Heeeuummm...."

Diamond had simply been listening to the conversation. The fact that there was a Crystal Pony talking to them confirmed that she and the others were actually in the past, and she wasn't sure what to do. If she was in the past, she could easily change it, even by accident. It was already bad enough the stallion had found them. In the present, it had already been about seven years since Princess Cadence came to the Empire. If she saw him in the present - if she ever got back to the present - she would have to explain why she looked the same age then as she did in the present.

She was brought out of her thoughts when Forge yet again appeared in her vision and asked if she could move. She nodded and wearily stood up, not saying a thing.

Eternity bowed his head "Thank you sir. We are very grateful for your generosity. Hopefully over night we can come up with a plan..." Eternity looked at the rest of the ponies.Some were still lying down. "Some pony should wake them up. Now," He looked back to the dull crystal pony "Are you able to take us there now? Oh and mind if I ask for your name?"

Hazmat Sees a pony still unconscious from the teleportation to the past. He walks up to her and nudges softly. "Hallo, velcome to your new life..." He says aloud as he slightly nudges against her, seeing if she would also wake up by hearing an ugly accented (ugly accent to Hazmat at least) voice.

Forge went over to winter. "Hey, hey! Better wake up. We went in to the past with no way back and need everyone up and at 'em to get out of this mess." When he was sure she was going to wake up, he went back over to the main group to see if anyone had come to a decision yet. He wan't sure they could trust this new Crystal Pony, but he was willing to go along with them for now.

​Crack of dawn… I hope nopony here is a late sleeper.   Silver Brush looked worriedly at the nearby empire, all of its pristine beauty and its optimism replaced by a dark evil that she once thought only existed in stories of imaginary lands, times, and scenarios.  The things one reads in stories really are different from actually being there.  But this is no time to dwell on that.  It won't help to say that it's all just a dream after all.  Her ears twitched a bit when she heard the gloomy crystal stallion offer his house to stay in.  She gave him a sympathetic glance and grin for a moment before she went back to being serious.

 

"Well, this certainly isn't the place to plan our escape and it'll be awhile before dawn.  What should we do in the meantime?"  She glanced at her cloak and the saddlebag that held her dagger before brushing aside the idea that was forming in her head.

Forge decided to voice his doubts. "I hate to be that pony but we don't know if we can trust Berry." Turning to Berry he says "No offense, but right now we could be considered an invading force. I'm a smith, we have a mage, theres enough of us, we could be some kind of spies for all anyone knows. Like I said, no offense, I guess you were in the wrong place at the wrong time." Turning back to the group Forge says "Say we go to his house to hide out and next thing we know, Sombra's guards show up. Do you suppose that some pony could get a reward for turning in a bunch of strangers?" he takes a few steps back in to the crowd and says "I'm not saying that's whats going to happen" turning to Berry again he says "And I'm certainly not accusing you of anything, all I'm saying is we should be careful. We don't know who we can and can't trust."

Berry looked at the empire, his ear twitched once. He saw a guard coming his way. "I'm sorry. I have to go. I'll come over here before dawn to bring you over there." He said hurriedly. He rushed over the way of the empire.

Amber finished her water with a deep swig and (badly) tossed the empty vial back to Forge. "I'll handle this poser" she said in the direction of the guard. She only made it about five steps before she collapsed, fast asleep, into none other than Diamond Dust.

 

((Don't worry, she'll sober up eventually, like I said alcohol and time travel don't mix well. Also Diamond was looking a little too morose for being trapped and forced tp relive the nightmarish reality of her own horrific past.))

Eternity sighed. What were they simply supposed to wait there for who knows how long? With the chance of being caught? He didn't like the situation they were. He was hoping the pony would o brought them to his house right away. "Well..." He said to everypony "What are we gonna do now?"

Diamond nearly fell over at the sudden weight at her side, but managed to keep her balance. She looked over to find the source, and found that Amber had fallen asleep on her. She blushed and gently eased the mare down to the ground and listened to the conversation, not saying anything.

 

 

 

 

Winter distantly heard voices around her, none of them familiar. She couldn't make out any distinct words, but two of the voices seemed to be directed at her. She began to stir, and slowly became more awake. She groggily opened her eyes and tried to see through the haze of drowsiness. A moment later, she sat up and rubbed her eyes, only to see a stallion she didn't know standing in front of her.

Morning," she said, not noticing her surroundings as she yawned and stretched her forelegs. She stood up a and stretched her wings out next.

"Why was I sleeping on my back on the ground?" she asked the stallion. She didn't remember anything about before passing out, but kept her optimistic smile, confident everything would come back to her.

Hazmat stands back to give the pony some space as she stretches. As she asked some questions, keeping her mood all happy... he might change that mood in a second. "Vell," He starts up, hesitating just a bit before speaking; picking out the right words. "Ve teleported back in time vhere King Sombra rules zis Crystal Empire. Take a look around." He slowly moves his hoof in a horizontal 180° rotation to show that she needs to look around a bit.

"The Heart appears to have done that" Eternity said to Mint Drop after Hazmat responded "when that mare right there" He pointed to Amber "knocked into it. Put us all to sleep when we woke up we were in this terrible place. A dulled crystal pony did find us here and offered us a place to hide, but unfortunately he had to leave without showing us. So now we are stuck here. Hopefully a guard doesn't find us." Eternity said in a solemn tone yet with a hint of annoyance.

Winter finished stretching and looked around as the stallion suggested. As she did, her head flooded with memories of what had happened. Going to the Empire, talking to the filly whose name she never caught, the drunken mare falling on the Crystal Heart, and blindingly bright light.

She heard another stallion speaking to her, and listened to what he had to say. She turned to face him. She looked more serious now, but it was clear she wasn't upset.

"So what do we do?" she asked. They'd both obviously been awake longer than she'd been, at least long enough to figure out that they'd been teleported to the past. She figured at least one of them would have some sort of idea of what to do.

"Vell..." He starts up again, looking around, taking in the surroundings.  "Vone, ve can hide inside ze castle itself, or in ze average buildings, und vait for zis to die down. Two, ve can blend in as a guard... zeir armor should cover up most of us to ze point zey might not recognize. Zree... ve can just give up." Hazmat states his multi-plan.

"Well, we can't do any of those except three. Berry will look for us later over here so we might as well develop a plan for where we'll stay besides his place. If he gets caught having us there, we'll all be in trouble." Shooting said. She was trying to figure out how they'll get food and water too. She figured the library would be the best place to hide in the day, but not for long.

"I'm not sure if we should even leave this place. Berry will come back for us and expect us to be here. If we all leave this spot I doubt he will go looking for us. He might even assume we escaped. Hmmm...." What can we do? maybe hide somewhere and keep somepony here in case Berry comes? No I'm not sure if that will work. If only we knew where his house was... "Well, I think staying is his home would probably be the safest option. I doubt they check homes for hiding ponies. Even though we should wait for Berry I also don't wish to stay here too long. We might get caught. If only we can find out where he lives..." Eternity thought for a moment. He though about how the crystal ponies are, and how they were dull. "Maybe we should go straight to his house. And I think I may have a way of how to find out where he lives."

Forge goes over to Amber and picks her up, putting her across his back. Thanks to him being a black smith, he didn't have any trouble lifting her. He then walks up to the group and says "Ok, here's an idea. We can find some place to lay low. We can also leave one pony out here as a watch. When Berry comes back, the watch pony can go get the group, and we can go with Berry. Is that agreeable to everyone?"

Diamond stood when Forge picked Amber up and nodded in agreement as he spoke. It was likely the best shot they had, and she knew just who should be the pony to stay.

When Forge was done talking, she spoke for the first time since she'd woken up.

"I agree,," she started, her voice giving away her weariness. "And I volunteer to be the pony to keep watch."

Silver stayed silent for a while, listening to every pony's plans and coming up with some herself.  Frankly, she liked the idea of finding somewhere to go while some pony keeps watch, but she picked up on potential problems and flaws.  "But what if the guards come by?  What will you do then?  Can any of us even fight?"

"That guard probably only came by because Berry was missing from his labor." Shooting told Silver. "The guard didn't even see us." She continued. She wanted a decent plan. "Hide in the library for a hiding place later? It's big and we could try and figure out how to hide better from past stories." Shootig suggested to the rest.

Diamond looked at the mare. "I can hide on a cloud," she replied, spreading her wings. "I was alive during this time. I know from memory that none of the guards are Pegasi, and they don't think to look in the clouds. Besides, she-" she pointed at the mare who had suggested the library "-was right. Those guards never came outside of the Empire unless to check up on somepony."

Eternity thought for a moment to see if there was anything wrong wit the plan. Considering how things were he doubted they would get caught hiding in a library. It's probably closed with no pony inside. And if that pegasus can just hide on a cloud she shouldn't be able to get caught. The only problem was getting to the library. "I suppose that is an alright plan. Is the library close? Will there be guards around?"

"I'm saying let's meet up there if we can't find each other and after we find how to get stable food and water sources. Plus, Berry will need to know after tomorrow." Shooting said. "Plus, the guards will probably be everywhere, including near the library." Shooting said. They needed a good plan, and they had all afternoon and night to do it.
