Dashing Madly 84 July 8, 2014 Share July 8, 2014 Well, if your talking about coloring on paper, then there is always the prismacolor markers. They don't leave those streak marks and are very flowing. They cost about 2 dollars per marker. If you look them up, you should find them. Hope this helped You should also be able to find them at a local art store.
SweetJeans88 408 July 9, 2014 Share July 9, 2014 well, for traditional pen and paper stuff, copic/prismacolours are a good choice. expensive but niiice when you learn how to wield them. Any place that has those will have brush pens for inking as well, get a few diff sizes. theyre waterproof and give you good control with your line thickness. if you cant get to an art store (michaels is waaay over priced btw--save coupons if its all u got--cheap joes is the best around here though) then fine hard point sharpies--the felt tips tend to bleed kinda bad though and you get fuzzy edged lines. build up the width of your lines gradually with themi used to work with watercolour pencils too ive had the best results blending them with regular coloured pencils on watercolour paper, then smudging them lightly with a brush or q-tip, spray bottle, etc..or doing a regular watercolour pic, then using the pencils to just add finer details after its dried.on that note, try flicking salt or rubbing alcohol on your wet watercolour painting. you get some nifty effects if you mess up and needed something left white, wait til theyre dried and paint it with a slightly watered down acrylic, or a white-out pen for those anime highlights and shines. 1 GO CONTRIBUTE! my art: here, and tumblr
